I cannot say enough good things about Premier and the install team. We had roughly 1200 square feet of engineered hardwood installed in our home. Cindy worked with us to provided a straightforward, transparent, and competitive quote. From estimate to installation everything was seamless. As new homeowners undertaking a project such as this was stressful, but Premier and the install team did everything in their power to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of every step of the way. I want to give a special shoutout to Jamie, Jason and their boss Avary who took charge on our floor install. They are skilled, hard workers, with genuinely great attitudes. They were respectful of our home, answered all of our questions, and went above and beyond (such as installing new baseboard in our bathroom even though that was not part of the job.) I would 1000% use them again and will specifically request them when we move forward on recarpeting our bedrooms. Do NOT use Premier Flooring in Grass Valley. I trusted them to do a small kitchen and told them it was important to level the floor and even install a new subfloor if necessary. I offered to pay extra labor to make sure it was done right. They dumped a couple bags of leveling compound in 1 day and set the floor. The cabinet guys later pointed out the floor was still out of level and I have dips here and there where there should have been more compound. I called Craig back to the house to look at it and he said there nothing they can do. That was their best work. Well I'm here to tell you they charged me over 4k for this and now I'm stuck with it, I hate it and if I could rip my floor out and dump it in their F*CKING lobby I would. I saved for YEARS for this project and they ruined it, I can't do it again. I'm screwed. DO NOT SHOP HERE. read more

This is a shout out to Lorin, Dan and the new Owners and Management team at Premier Flooring. Premier Floor Covering is a company with all star employees that care about their customers and will work to ensure clients are completely happy! Lorin and Dan did an impeccable job installing new vinyl plank flooring in our 4,900 square foot home, built in 1986. This was a massive job that started with removing carpet and tile throughout many levels. Our house was a challenge, there were many inconsistencies in the subfloors, and indoor brickwork throughout the home that needed to be installed around. Lorin and Dan came back on multiple visits to make sure the floors were installed correctly and to our liking. Lorin went out of his way to find unique solutions needed for transitions that couldn't be solved with the products supplied by the flooring manufacturer. Lorin is also an expert at color matching and installing seamless putty around the bricks. When our home flooded, Lorin quickly ordered replacement flooring and scheduled Dan to come out and help us replace flooring in the area where the flooding occurred. We were very happy with how responsive Premier Flooring was to our needs. Even with many challenges, the floors now look beautiful. The floors look fabulous! Dan and Trent did a fantastic job and they helped move the furniture out without complaining about it. Both rooms were done in one day! They did everything right and didn't destroy the baseboards or thresholds. The only issue that could've been avoided is the fact that the person who came out to give me an estimate was not the person who installed it. This week we had new carpet installed in two bedrooms and a den on our second floor. The den was not an easy room to do with a narrow door opening and long confined hallway for them to clear the furniture into for the job. Not a scratch or dent anywhere, top notch installation, beautiful carpet, and two of the friendliest guys we have ever met did the work. This review is long overdue. Denise was amazing! Very quick response, worked with my schedule, professional and respectful. I had initially contacted another business that ended up being unreliable. When I contacted Premier Floor Covering, I sent Denise my flooring choices, photos of my home, and explained my aesthetic and what I wanted in terms of durability in wet zones, etc. Denise was helpful, patient, responded immediately, and was honest with my choices. Based on my communication with Denise, Lorin came out and he brought samples of different styles of flooring material. He even came out on his daughter's birthday to accommodate my limited availability and was very knowledgeable and patient in his explanation of my options. Once I chose the flooring, the floors were installed quickly, and Trenton was very efficient (I think he finished the job early), and respectful of my space; it was like he was never there! About a year later, some of the flooring boards in high traffic areas were separating. Premier Floor Covering came back and made the adjustments and repairs quickly and without cost.
