Bobs came back and pulled the whole floor up and glued it down...though it was supposed to be a floating flooring. He told us in January that he needed money and would be finished in 3 days so we agreed to pay him in full. After that he proceeded to start a new job and kept blowing us off when we asked when he would be back to complete the job. He finally started sending an incompetent subcontractor to finish some of the work and only after arguing with him constantly he would show up occasionally to do a little work. After about 2 weeks of this he just gave up and never finished the final agreed upon part of the job. That was 6 months ago. I think my only recourse is small claims court. Buyer beware. In response to Eric's reply to my review which was completely based on facts I would like to address 2 of his specific lies that actually constitute defamation by libel (look it up Eric). He stated that a: We were in the process of suing other people while he was doing our job. This is a malicious libel with no basis of proof. Provide proof of this alleged suit or suits as I have NEVER filed suit in my life against anyone! b: you imply that I defrauded a business by complaining about a scratch on a mantle in order to get an additional one. This is again a malicious lie that you knowingly state. The fact is you saw the "scratched mantle" because I showed it to you. It was dropped in shipping by fedex which broke(not scratched) the mantle. The supplier after I sent photos told me to dispose of it however I choose and shipped a new one because the damaged one could not be repaired. See photos. You have defamed me by libel on a public forum which is serious. I demand your immediate retraction of these statements. If your retraction is not done within 7 days I will seek counsel for how to proceed. I won't even bother responding to the rest of your nonsense as it is time to move on.

He even left about 6 feet of the old floor and wove some of my leftover boards I had in the garage throughout the rest of the floor to make it all look the same. He is a skilled floor guy for sure. I also was having trouble deciding on bathroom flooring and he suggested a sustainable, low priced product and did the installation. Looks great. I read the reviews that state he's doesn't calling back. I found that if I called him between 4:15-4:30, he always answered. My take on it was that he was working during the day and if you called him right as he was finishing work, you would catch him. He is a hard worker and has a family so I get it. For me, it's more about the end result, which is awesome. I highly recommend his work and he is more than fair on his pricing.
