We shopped around for quite a while looking for the right countertops for our kitchen. We found wha we liked but had a fit of sticker shock from the place that had the quartz we liked. So we took that sample and shopped around with it to see if others could do better on price and service. We found exactly what we were looking for with DMD. They were more local to us, which I love supporting, and they were able to get us the material we wanted at about 2/3 the price previously quoted. Service is even more important when having people in your home so here is my review of each of the employees we interacted with: Brie was the one that coordinated everything. She was fantastic! She is the reason everything went so smooth, from scheduling to answering all questions. Must have adjusted my estimate 5 times. Fabricators: minimal interaction, but they met all the time lines and helped me out on a little bathroom side project. Installers: great guys. Very professional and did a perfect job. No complaints. Also did the backsplash demolition for me and put up some drywall at the last minute. Very comfortable with them personally, even around my family, which is a big deal. Price was mid range, but I didn't trust the big box hardware stores to farm it out the lowest bid installers. Read mostly horrible reviews of the ones they use, and they all use the same one. Our project was a small one, just finding a granite slab on which to place a small free-standing wood stove. They helped us pick a suitable material from their remnants and had lots to choose from. Within three days, they had cut it to size and shaped the edges how we wanted them. A very pleasant experience, and the slab will look much nicer than the prefab hearths one can buy at stove stores for a similar price. read more

Don't hire anyone else to do your countertops until you've talked to DMD. Everyone there from Bri, Denise, Carmina and Dylean to those who removed the old countertops (Ezekiel, Gabriel and Valter) and those who installed the plywood underlayment, did the templating and then the installation (Andre and Alan) were terrific. We found DMD through friends whose kitchen DMD had remodeled. Beautiful job. From beginning to end, DMD's people treated us like family and did a great job. Wow, what a great company and a great group of people. We had the Kitchen remodeled. That included the counter tops, back splashes, new sink install and even had all the cabinets redone. DMD handled all the new Granite installation. Upon request at the beginning, we asked Carmina to handle / arrange dates and times with the other contractors for us. Everything went so smooth between the three different contractors it was like they all worked together as one company.Even finished a day early. Carmina did a wonderful job coordinating everything. After extensive research we were so excited to get our Caesarstone quartz counters to complete our dream kitchen remodel. We chose this particular countertop because of the clean look and the durability. We decided to go with DMD Marble and Granite because they seemed very approachable and professional even though their bid was slightly higher than other places. The whole process went perfect until about 6 months after our countertops were installed. We discovered a rather large chip on the top of the counter (about the size of a pea). It almost looked like a bubble or flaw in the counter had chipped away. We contacted DMD to see what we could do since these counters were supposed to be the most durable and we hadn't done anything out of the ordinary...I use wood cutting boards, never put anything hot on the counters, and use the approved cleaners. Carmina accused me of taking something like a hammer to my counters because that was the only way they could have chipped like that. Why would we take a hammer to our brand new dream kitchen?! Then she told me she'd call me back after she talked to her husband about it. We didn't hear back for about 3 months after several attempts to contact them. We finally got ahold of someone and they told us they could try to repair it. After they charged us for an epoxy repair...the workers told us it probably wouldn't hold and we were pretty much out of luck. So...after spending thousands of dollars for quartz counters we now treat them like they are made out of porcelain. DMD Marble and Granite's customer service is awesome until something goes wrong. read more
