Cindy worked with us to provided a straightforward, transparent, and competitive quote. From estimate to installation everything was seamless. As new homeowners undertaking a project such as this was stressful, but Premier and the install team did everything in their power to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of every step of the way. I want to give a special shoutout to Jamie, Jason and their boss Avary who took charge on our floor install. They are skilled, hard workers, with genuinely great attitudes. They were respectful of our home, answered all of our questions, and went above and beyond (such as installing new baseboard in our bathroom even though that was not part of the job.) I would 1000% use them again and will specifically request them when we move forward on recarpeting our bedrooms. I encourage anyone who is looking for new floors to check out Premier, and if you're lucky you'll get Avary, Jamie and Jason on your job.

I offered to pay extra labor to make sure it was done right. They dumped a couple bags of leveling compound in 1 day and set the floor. The cabinet guys later pointed out the floor was still out of level and I have dips here and there where there should have been more compound. I called Craig back to the house to look at it and he said there nothing they can do. That was their best work. Well I'm here to tell you they charged me over 4k for this and now I'm stuck with it, I hate it and if I could rip my floor out and dump it in their F*CKING lobby I would. I saved for YEARS for this project and they ruined it, I can't do it again. I'm screwed. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Bobs installed plank flooring using a discontinued product that was discontinued for a reason…read more After the installer rushed through the job, leaving junk under the new flooring, the whole floor puckered up. Bobs came back and pulled the whole floor up and glued it down...though it was supposed to be a floating flooring. A couple of months later the flooring puckered up again and Bobs would not come back and fix it. Now, I have a $7800 floor that looks bad in multiple spots. I thought i would patronize a local business, and boy did i get burned. I don't recommend Bobs discount carpeting in Grass Valley. Bob turned out to be a real jerk.

The best qualities of Don's Hardwood Floors are as follows:…read more*Knowledgeable *Fast *Reasonable pricing *Friendly crew We went through eight floor guys before picking Don. The problem with most floor guys is that they didn't return calls or were overpriced. Don was easy to reach and always called back. The original wood floor of our newly purchased home was in terrible shape! Heavy traffic stains, pet stains, water damage, gouges and holes abound. Don knew exactly how to bring our floors back to life. He and his crew sanded, filled holes, mixed a custom wood stain to hide the deep pet stains, and left us with rich, beautiful floors. We would hire him again!

Very poor business ethic. Doesn't return calls or texts. Doesn't show up when he says he will. The…read moremost frustrating part of dealing with Eric at Paragon are his excuses for everything. He told us in January that he needed money and would be finished in 3 days so we agreed to pay him in full. After that he proceeded to start a new job and kept blowing us off when we asked when he would be back to complete the job. He finally started sending an incompetent subcontractor to finish some of the work and only after arguing with him constantly he would show up occasionally to do a little work. After about 2 weeks of this he just gave up and never finished the final agreed upon part of the job. That was 6 months ago. I think my only recourse is small claims court. Buyer beware. In response to Eric's reply to my review which was completely based on facts I would like to address 2 of his specific lies that actually constitute defamation by libel (look it up Eric). He stated that a: We were in the process of suing other people while he was doing our job. This is a malicious libel with no basis of proof. Provide proof of this alleged suit or suits as I have NEVER filed suit in my life against anyone! b: you imply that I defrauded a business by complaining about a scratch on a mantle in order to get an additional one. This is again a malicious lie that you knowingly state. The fact is you saw the "scratched mantle" because I showed it to you. It was dropped in shipping by fedex which broke(not scratched) the mantle. The supplier after I sent photos told me to dispose of it however I choose and shipped a new one because the damaged one could not be repaired. See photos. You have defamed me by libel on a public forum which is serious. I demand your immediate retraction of these statements. If your retraction is not done within 7 days I will seek counsel for how to proceed. I won't even bother responding to the rest of your nonsense as it is time to move on.

I read the reviews that state he's doesn't calling back. I found that if I called him between 4:15-4:30, he always answered. My take on it was that he was working during the day and if you called him right as he was finishing work, you would catch him. He is a hard worker and has a family so I get it. For me, it's more about the end result, which is awesome. I highly recommend his work and he is more than fair on his pricing.
