    This company is awesome! Everyone I worked with from start to finish was professional, friendly, and helpful. The Lance and Amber team of installers are great and made very quick work do the job and I'm so happy with the outcome. Would definitely recommend this company and will use them again if I have the need...as long as they don't change their commercial jingle

    I had a great experience with Floors by Ray. The moment I stepped into their store to check out some flooring they were so helpful and kind. They let me take home 4 huge samples to see if I liked how they looked. After I picked out the flooring they worked with me and got the estimate out to me quickly. The installer was great to work with. He was very down to earth and professional. He did an amazing job on our floors and I would highly recommend this company! We will be hiring them again to do our upstairs flooring soon.

I am very disappointed that I cannot repair furniture that was way over priced even though they sold us a warranty:-(. I also had a $300 credit for pillows I returned that seemed to disappear. Overall, I would like these issues resolved but they haven't been able to do it which led me to 2 stars. For an upscale furniture store, I would expect that they could resolve these issues. No we didn't "yell at the service man". He actually told us that why we wrote in the claim is not what he was coming to take a picture of. All of my children were present when he was there and he just kept telling my son..."things are going to get weirder?" Not sure what he was referring to. There is no reason why the furniture shouldn't be replaced. Yes, my ex husband left fish tanks on pieces that were ruined and beer bottles which caused water damage. All of those things were to be covered in your policy. Like I said, Ana and Tia were lovely to work with but the furniture we would still like repaired as it's under a warranty you sold us. I can share with you the entire conversation with the repair man as we recorded it. He was very strange and we still stayed respectful. In no way would we ever yell at a repair man. We had damage to the cushion on the couch and he said he was there to take a picture of the back of it! Lucky for us Guardsman paid it in full. Regarding the $300 credit, my daughter was excited to buy something for her room and it disappeared! One week they said it was there as we returned pillows and the next week it was gone. Nothing was purchase with the $300 but again we don't want to argue. It would be nice if you repaired the furniture as you seemed to do before my husband moved out but after I left him, nothing got fixed. Oh well, you are the owner and you have the right to run things as you wish. Have a lovely rest of your weekend!!!

He does not nickel and dime like other services I've used in the past and I love that the products are non toxic. Even with the minimum charge, I'd still say he has the best prices in town for such a high quality service. David was extremely responsive and accommodating to my scheduling requests. He is very knowledgeable, thorough and trustworthy. Will be hiring again for all future jobs, highly recommend!

Since I only had a long…read morehallway and a family room with carpet, he suggested we clean our family room rug as well. We have pets, with some very stubborn stains. I asked David if he charged extra for pet treatment - and he said no, it was a flat rate (which I have never experienced - I usually get charged a hefty fee for having pets). David pre-treated the carpets, and then cleaned the carpets. He does not use harsh detergents, so no residue is left in the carpet. The carpets dried within 3-4 hours and they look brand new. No stains! Yay!! I most definitely would highly recommend David!! Oh, and I forgot to tell you - he places little styrofoam wedges under all the feet of the furniture, which can be removed after the carpet has fully dried. I appreciated the attention to detail!!

    Rant: California Renovation (Cal Reno) and Roseville Carpet One (RCO)…read more Roseville Carpet One owns California Renovation in Chico. If you're looking for floors, carpet or other services look elsewhere. I had my entire house outfitted with 100% waterproof SPC flooring. The product is high quality, the staff at California Renovation are unbelievably the worst. Around a year after the floors were installed, I noticed a big split at the joint pulling up as seen in picture two. Note, the damaged area has a large rug there 365 days of the year unless needed to clean. I called Cal Reno, they sent out there installation manager. He put a moisture tester to the floor, and said "yup, exactly as I expected. The floors are too wet and you're over mopping." Then proceeded to tell me I needed to use a special mop that I hand wring out to wash the floors. Information that was never provided if true. Then quoted me $600 to replace the four boards in that area. I honestly believed them, maybe I was over mopping. Then the floors started getting worse and in areas that have never been mopped. So I started doing my own research. I looked up the my warranty: 25yrs commercial - 50yrs residential. 100% waterproof. The warranty literally says you can spill water on the floor, leave it and it won't damage it. But clean it up in a timely matter to prevent mold. I called Cal Reno back six months later, the installation manager came back out and said the same thing. Proceeded to tell me I'm mopping too wet and I need a special mop. Long story short, I fought with Cal Reno and RCO for months. They refused to submit a claim to Republic flooring. During my research I found the manufacturer rescinded parts of the warranty. Now the floors are warrantied for 25yrs, half of what it was originally. It also mentioned Visqueen, a moisture barrier must be applied before setting the floors, which was never done. I later found out the manufacturer had changed their warranty 8 months after my floors were installed due to moisture issues and several customers, some of whom were Cal Reno or RCO customers had to have their floors replaced. Also, warranty makes no mention of a special mop. Finally, after a lengthy emails stating the facts, hours of research and second opinions, Cal Reno said they would replace the floors "at cost" and come out to measure. I simply replied no and kept fighting, almost needing to go to court. Finally I thought I won, that same installation manager came back out and said, "we are only going to replace the damaged sections, we want to go easy on the manufacturer." I was almost in shock. Whose side are you on? The bill goes to the manufacturer not you guys. I was fed up at this point, was willing to take whatever I could get and thanked him for fighting on my behalf to get the floors replaced. To my disgust he said, "no, we just forwarded your email to the manufacturer and they said yes." All said and done, the whole house was replaced with new floors that had under two years of wear. I went with this company because my neighbor also used them, and unbeknownst to me, they also had issues they fought for months with their carpet. This was after my contract was in place. The first and second pictures have rugs all year round except for cleaning. Last picture shows the mold and mildew after the floors were taken out. They even had to go back and fill in more cracks in the foundation, with lots of rework. Overall, the floors are great, warranty is(was) amazing, but this company sucks. Doesn't care about you, the hard earned money you spent and will not help you if you have issues. Go elsewhere.

I was greeted promptly when I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon in June, but that was it. Since reading the poor reviews about the customer service, I decided to take this into my own hands and approach the sales lady with questions and get her more engaged. I entered the store in flip-flops, a T-shirt and jeans by the way. So it probably was pretty obvious that I wasn't going to buy anything. I think that they may have the wrong personality behind the counter at this store. They need to have somebody that's more engaging with the customers. After a few questions and breaking the ice the sales lady did ask me if I would care for a cup of water or coffee. That is a nice perk to offer your customers, but it almost felt awkward. I feel like if the woman would take the time to offer every customer a beverage as they entered, they would feel more welcome. The store isn't exactly flooded with people. I was the only one in there until a couple of ladies came in about 5 minutes later. Perhaps she's afraid she would be spending too much time making beverages , which is understandable. I will return to the store, because I love what they have here and it is well laid out. I definitely get a lot of decorating ideas from walking into the store. They offer rugs, linens, bedding custom furniture, clothing, soaps, table decor, coral, candles, etc. Update: I have had a few more opportunities to experience this store throughout the year (2016-17). Improved customer service. I enjoy coming here.

You'd think that all the negative reviews over the last 15 years about your staff you would maybe work on it but I guess it was never a priority. What followed was a five-month nightmare that showed a complete lack of care and respect for disabled and elderly customers. Lazy Boy sent four different repair technicians over those five months, costing us more than $500 in service visits, only to eventually declare the chair "unrepairable." During that time, my father had no proper place to sleep or rest, forcing us to spend $3,000 out of pocket on another chair just so he could have basic comfort and mobility. After all that, Lazy Boy refused to refund the cost of the defective chair and instead offered only an in-store credit. This response is unacceptable and shows no compassion or accountability toward disabled veterans or senior citizens who depend on this equipment for their daily lives. Lazy Boy's handling of this situation is a form of neglect and abuse--taking advantage of those who can least afford to wait or fight through bureaucracy. If you care about integrity, respect, or supporting our veterans and elderly, do not buy from Lazy Boy.
