This is a great place. The atmosphere was lively but not too loud. My server was great and quick to respond to any need. The food is delicious. Goat cheese balls are a standard and I get them at every Vanderpump I go to. They never let me down. The tuna had great flavor and a pop from the pomegranate. The caviar and chips were good, but the chips really overtook the taste if the caviar. The slider were ok. I am not a huge fan of horseradish, but this was OK and not overpowering. I have been wanting to experience this restaraunt for a long time & when the Tahoe one finally opened, I could not wait. I did not have a good experience when I went. The food was great, but the service was not what I was expecting. One of the biggest flaws that I discovered is that the people they hire, are also people who fist fight people in clubs-- and not only a random club, a Caesar's hotel! I had an experience when I was at El Dorado with my daughter, the night before I was coming into the restaraunt, and witnessed two of the restaraunt's employees beat another young lady up! The women were kicked out of the club, and were "86'd". It brought a big scene. Come to find out, when I came to Wolf would I see the same girls face to face. It immediately threw me off, and I was nervous to say something so we didn't. For a well known restaurant, these are not the people you should be hiring! Especially in another casino! These hot headed women should not be the faces of Wolf!! One of the girls was very tall, blonde and sassy, the other girl was very petite with brown hair and big lips. Wow, wow, WOW! Wolf did not disappoint. Being a huge fan of Vanderpump rules and all things Lisa, I had to stop by wolf for some cocktails and appetizers! I was seated quickly with some friends and took in the beautiful decor! I expected nothing less but elegance. We were greeted by our waitress, Feyza! She was so friendly, knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. I of course had to get a pumptini but on my second round, took Feyzas suggestion of the pumped up kicks! Are you kidding??? Best espresso martini ever! She suggested the goat cheese balls of course, the delicious signature wolfbread and the sliders. I wouldn't have changed a thing! I can't wait to come back! The service was next level. We had Charlie and he took care of us at every opportunity. The food was delicious and we had some of the best cocktails I've ever had. I highly reccomend the Lake Effect and the Happy Husky shot. Charlie recommended the Sea Bass and it was absolutely melt in your mouth. The hoise alcohol was perfect in every drink we had. As big big fans of the show, of course I decided to have my birthday dinner at Wolf and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The ambiance was to die for. Lisa has an amazing eye for design and the decor was breathtaking. The service was great. I forgot to get our servers name, but he did a fantastic job. As well as the very tall man who refilled our waters and chatted with us about our tall family. lol The food and drinks were delicious. We had the salmon, bangers and mash, schnitzel and the Waygu ragu and every dish tasted amazing. Impeccable service in a casual atmosphere. The food was excellent but that's to be expected with any dining associated with the Caranos.

I booked way in advance but unfortunately we were unable to make our reservation due to the Davis Fire. I spent hours trying to contact someone including phone, FB, and Instagram. I was finally able to speak with someone named Joe via Caesar's reservations. He was able to cancel for me but explained that same day cancelation would result in a 25$ per person fee. Joe was very kind but he had no control over the situation. He gave me the number to the billing office so that I could request a refund. He advised that they are only open M-F. He also offered that I could dispute it with my CC company. What a disappointment. I won't be rebooking. read more

One of the most interesting and impressive restaurants we have found in a long while. First, the atmosphere was exceptional. The decor was like a Victorian hunting lodge - intended to display custom-designed, masculine-themed lamps, sculptures, furnishings, and accessories. The food was unique and exceptional. We started with a spectacular cauliflower dish, breaded, baked, and accented by fantastic dips and peppers. Next were original Lobster Ceviche' Crisps, in crisp taco wontons: outstanding appetizer. We both had the pan-fried Chilean sea bass, the chef's signature dish, and it was spectacular: crispy outside and buttery soft and flaky inside, with outstanding scalloped potatoes, wrinkled cherry tomatoes, and a vegetable mousse. Wow! One of the best bass dishes anywhere! Their signature cocktails are priced a bit high but the Giggy Tonic was excellent. Service could not have been better! Brian was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. We will be returning whenever in South Lake Tahoe; this is among the best available highest quality restaurants in the area. read more

We went during the soft opening last week, it was fabulous! We had the goat cheese balls and Mac n cheese for apps, both were great. We tried the Black Bear (pretty sweet and almost like a thin slushy consistency- would get again) The Dirty Dog, The 1849, Peter Rabbit and the Lake Effect, Lake Effect was my fave, light and refreshing. We got the burger and pot pies, great and filling. Our only feedback is the wooden boards as plates is too heavy and bulky, we all would've rather just had plates. read more

Online says I need to call for parties larger than 6. Guess who NEVER answers the phone and whose mailbox is full? I've had 2 other friends try to call and at different times in the evening, just to make sure it wasn't me. It would be great if they answered the phone or at least cleared their voicemail box so that people can make reservations. Nothing to write home about, a little disappointing. The restaurant is really beautiful but the server was terrible, didn't even tell us his name. Came up to the table and said "do you guys have any questions or are you ready to order?" Food is overpriced for what it is. During the reservation they specifically asked if we were celebrating anything. I said our wedding anniversary. Awful experience on NYE! Made a reservation for my daughter and 4 friends who had come up from the Bay Area to ring in the NY at Wolf. Reservation was made over a week before the date, confirmed BY Wolf and Open Table the day before, yet when they showed up for the 10pm reservation, they were told it had been canceled by Wolf that day!! They were told that we were sent an email (in my junk mail at 7:30pm on NYE, who's checking email that night) and that we were called as well. Looking at my call log it said "telemarketer" from one number late in the day and no one bothered to leave a message telling me what the issue is. To make matters worse, they HAD the table available (the girls could SEE IT from the host stand) but were told my the snarky host "sure, we can seat you, if you want to pay $1,000 for the "experience" we are offering". Rude and dismissive like they actually work in Beverly Hills and not the janky Harvey's casino. Let me tell you, we are locals and have "experienced" Wolf a number of times but other than the pretty decor, the food was mediocre at best , overpriced everything and the staff (especially the hosts) have more attitude than you can imagine for a place that is usually half empty when it's not a huge holiday or a weekend. Don't waste your money, walk right next door to the newly enlarged Hells Kitchen where the food, staff and drinks live up to the famous chefs reputation. It never disappoints whereas Wolf, for most people who live here, is usually a one and done. After this New Years BS we will never go back! What a scam! read more

So decided to visit Lisa v restaurant, we were there around 1ish in the afternoon and the restaurant doesn't open until 4pm, we hadn't been to south shore in a few years it's definitely a mess for sure Harvey's is a disaster to say the least. We entered on self parked and the parking garage looked like something that had not been cleaned or put together in 1 million years we parked our car walked over to Harvey's and I don't know what I was expecting, but it was completely a mess just a mess we've been to Harvey's so many times we visited Llewellyn's when it was on the 19th floor and just loved it there but it's just a huge unorganized remodeling project, but it's just a mess. Everything needs to be remodeled. Everything needs to be upgraded. We couldn't believe that Lisa Vanderpump would chose to have a restaurant in a dump like this and then we finally found Lisa's restaurant which is at the tail end on the street well first of all you have to park and when you park in the parking garage, I about choked on my spit when it was $25 to park at the parking lot of a casino of a rundown casino of a very, very rundown casino!!!!!! it felt like the plastic they had holding the ceilings up in different parts. Whatever was behind there was gonna hit you in the head. There were wires everywhere and cords everywhere and one of the gift shop/cafe that were set up. There were people that were working there and people that were working behind they were soldering stuff and the sparks were flying right behind the workers heads I had never seen anything so dangerous to be honest with you.!!! Every door in the place is dirty their holes in the walls. The bathrooms are disgusting and to think that she would want her place to be there. I guess it's a cheap rent. I don't know. I did walk through her restaurant, but it was closed. It was beautiful simply beautiful so I don't know how long that's gonna last for her, but wish her the best but I will not be returning to south Lake Tahoe in a very, very long time. Went to bar anyway and found a seat but the bartender told us seats are reserve. So make sure you are the demographic they want or you will me made to feel not wanted so you leave. Wolf by Vanderpump was such a disappointment. Music was loud, the chairs at the table made me feel like I'm an Oompa Loompa (chairs were too short for the tables). Food was dismal. The only delicious part was the Wolf bread with honey butter. We ordered the goat cheese balls, NY strip (medium rare), salmon and all were underwhelming. My husband's medium rare steak was cooked medium well with overpowering pepper. For $75, it wasn't worth it. He had to return the steak and ordered the chicken instead. The chicken came and it tasted like baked bbq chicken he makes at home using Kraft marinade. My salmon had crispy skin once upon a time until they decided to drown it in oil on the plate. Yes, that yellow liquid under the salmon was all oil. And wasn't well seasoned. The Emerald Bay mocktail was OK. However, the name doesn't match the drink. When I hear Emerald Bay, I picture something clear blue/green water, not murky. We left and went across the street to Kalani's instead. My mom and I planned dinner here a month in advance for my sister's 40th birthday. We were overly excited and looking forward to this experience. Unfortunately, the only positive is the ambiance and decor. The food goat cheese balls were barely warm, the entrees were just okay and the dessert cinnamons rolls were super dry and hard. My sister ordered the New York steak and had to ask for a steak knife. My mom got the chicken had to use a butter knife to cut it. She said the chicken was plain and no flavor. The most important piece was what was lacking most. I hate to say but our waitress, Rebecca, was horrible. It seemed from the beginning she didn't want to help us. Her responses were short and the bare minimum of service. We had to ask for refills on water and soda. She never said thank you at any one moment during our experience. My mom sees the best in everyone and even my mom thought her service was horrible. That's when I knew this was not the experience I was hoping for my sister. So much anticipation and excitement, ruined by a waitress that didn't want to be at work. Such a let down! read more

I am a huge Vanderpump fan. I have been to her restaurants in LA and Vegas... all were top notch. Today my husband surprised me with a quick trip to Reno for a comedy show but first we drove in to Tahoe so we can finally go to a Wolf. We got there at 4:10 and were seated right away. The hostess at the front who checked us in was pleasant but the girl who took us to our seat was not very nice. No smile and quite frankly had a RBF face. They took us to our table where the sun was directly in my eyes. I asked if there was another table available which she seemed annoyed with... the place was not busy.... Only a few tables had people so not sure why such an issue. After being sat at another table our waitress Veda came immediately. She was nice and told us happy date night. I explained in our convo that I am Vanderpump enthusiast and have been to all her other restaurants and so excited to be there. She took our drink order which came very quickly. I had an espresso martini which was excellent. My husband and I ordered the goat cheese balls because IYKYK the smoked chicken, shrimp tacos and the smash burger. The Goat cheese balls were just ok... definitely not as good as Sur's for sure but they were ok. The smoked chicken was cool in presentation. My shrimp tacos well those weren't my fav. My husbands food came out incorrectly but it was a complete misunderstanding and Veda fixed it immediately. But after we left that's when it all went down hill. By the time we go into the car we both were feeling a little weird and not well. We had an hour drive to our hotel and by the time we got there we both were feeling completely sick. I'm puking and he is getting sick in other ways as well. So here we are in bed sick unable to go to our comedy show which cost $300 for the tickets. Very disappointing we were so excited to go. I should have gave less stars but Veda was so nice and the restaurant it's self was beautiful but I do believe we have food poising.... It was a busy day so all I had before we ate there was an English muffin so I'm sure that didn't make me sick .... I'll stick to her other restaurants from now :-( read more
