Then we turned on the do not disturb light and it was not registering on the outside button. (See photos) all the employees we ran into were friendly. What should have been a restful night turned into a nightmare…read more Around 3:00 a.m., the toilet in our room suddenly overflowed due to a failing valve, according to engineering. I had to stop the flooding myself, getting soaked in dirty water contaminated with urine and feces. Reaching anyone for help was nearly impossible--the front desk and operator didn't answer, and housekeeping took 10 minutes to pick up. After engineering temporarily repaired the toilet that was on its way out, housekeeping barely cleaned the bathroom. They wiped up the visible mess with towels but never mopped or disinfected the area, despite us traveling with children and a baby. I went down to speak with the front desk manager, Kayla Smith at 5:00 a.m. after losing an entire night's sleep, the only compensation she offered was some resort credit. I asked for a late checkout so we could at least get some rest, but I was told the hotel was "fully booked" and couldn't accommodate the request. On a Monday, that explanation was difficult to believe and felt like an excuse rather than a genuine attempt to help. Beyond the great location, the property feels old, poorly maintained, and unclean. Between the lack of responsiveness, inadequate cleanup, and poor customer service, I can't recommend staying at Harrah's Lake Tahoe. There are better options nearby.

My wife found tickets for Howie Mandel show for our 31st anniversary. It's a bit of a drive from…read moreReno, however, who doesn't like Howie right? We arrived about 7:30 PM and there was no line to get in here. The one thing I could tell you about the showroom is there will be parking issues. The Valet parking is very expensive. They charge by an hour, and if you are not a hotel guest, the price just goes up from there. As you were walking in, there is a scannable poster that lets you know all of the specific parking details. Bottom line is, go to the main cashier and get a Bally's player card. You will get a discount for parking though we don't know how much yet. There's also a notification if you spend $20, to get four hours free parking and $20 in the showroom on cocktail is pretty easy. Fairly comfortable though a bit weird with strangers. It's not a giant showroom like you see it in Las Vegas, so I emptied out pretty quick. What we ordered: Mai Tai Fuzzy navel Like mostshowrooms, there was not much alcohol in the cocktail. On the side note, the show was really good. Howie Mandel was awesome.

MontBleu Showroom is just as described an old school smaller SHOWROOM about 11000sq ft... depending…read moreupon the concert/artist the sections are as follows: five (5) different tiered Sections A, B, C, DEF. General Admission shows the tables are removed in ABC sections with tables remaining in DEF first come first serve. There are a few booths in ABC sections that are permanent also first come first serve or can be VIP again depending upon artist/concert. Hazard ALERT - some people jump over into better sections via said booths. We prefer section B or C but with the tiered showroom all areas have GREAT view of the stage. Check-in process is a bit antiquated considering other venues we have attended either take paper tickets, scan them or use mobile ticketing but here they have security check ID, then you walk over to a table where they look up your name on a printed list, then give a wristband without looking at your ticket - WTH and WAY TOOOO SLOW!! Once inside there is no signage or ushers plus limited lighting to find your section or bar, if you get inside after the show has started for any reason - yikes!! Sections are large for GA we have always had enough room to enjoy the show, dance, mosh, rave or if you get there early enough grab a booth to watch. A couple of things to note: bathrooms are outside of venue to right by East doors towards parking lot or you can go in casino until you find another one. Prior to show be sure to grab a drink from inside casino; because there is only one bar inside venue that will have a longggg line with an entertainment upcharge aka pricey but what you would expect. Bar is to right by Section C & D; occasionally they have a standup bar setup prior to the event outside of the showroom by the artist swag and Starbucks. With the above being said the shows we attended ROCKED the house, sound was PERFECT to include one of the performers came out in all the sections up close and personal singing with the audience - NOW that's what I call a performance that I still rave about! The vibe was AMAZING and I would go back again to see an artist that is on my list regardless of the little things I noted above. We like smaller venues, LOVE live music and any chance we get, you will find us out enjoying another memorable, music filled evening. #buythedamnconcerttickets #musicsoothesthesoul #musicislife

After a 4+ hour drive..we walked into his parent's house and his dad immediately asked if we were hungry. Without hesitation..he suggested heading to Rojo's. It was such a funny coincidence..my boyfriend had already told me about it on the drive up..saying we should get it once we unpack at his parent's. Rojo's is literally less than five minutes from his parents' house. The night we went..it was absolutely packed because the USA was playing in the FIFA World Cup. Both my boyfriend and his dad said it's usually much quieter..so we definitely got the full lively atmosphere! We were seated at a table in the back..and George was running the entire bar while also taking table orders. He handled everything smoothly and with a great attitude..we were more than happy to wait. My boyfriend and I split the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken..and I was blown away. I never expect bar Alfredo to be that good..but it was genuinely excellent..creamy..flavorful..and paired with perfectly cooked chicken. My boyfriend always orders it when he comes here..and now I understand why. His dad got a delicious pasta dish with scallops (I wish I'd caught the name!) and every bite at our table was a hit. Rojo's is the perfect mix of casual neighborhood bar vibes and surprisingly elevated food. Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area!

Looked around and decided to check out RoJo's. It was easy to find parking right out front. We walked in and sat at a table in the front area where the TVs were. The steak was fine. Came out rare like i ordered. It's bare so definitely ask for some A1. The salad was nice and crisp. The soup was on the sweeter side for me, but we just doused it with pepper. The hubby seemed to enjoy his pasta. They also give you complimentary bread and butter. I liked my manhattan. Nicely balanced. The scotch was fairly priced. I believe it was a 12 year? There are signs for Coors Light in the front area, so I decided to order one. Yep, I'm very prone to suggestion. It was a fine dinner. Nothing super good or bad to say about it. Service was nice so I'll bump it up to a 4. REVIEW #3918
