High level service starts when they ask, and note your name and phone number at check in. Our server arrived immediately and greeted us by name before we knew hers. We had never experienced this before and it was only the beginning of an incredible evening! Tessie's was fully staffed on Wednesday. Three bartenders and 3-4 servers/support. Drinks tasted great and were presented in beautiful barware. The interior of Tessie's was perfectly lit, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Entertainment was a local solo guitar artist, Midnight Chef, who was fantastic! His rendition of many songs all of us know was unique, interesting and well done. It was easy to see why the place runs so well. Sitting in the shadows was a member of the leadership team, Scott. He got up to help staffers later in the evening and spent time sharing details with us about Tessie's and other ventures he and others are involved with in CA and Vegas. We have been to many places and have a high expectation when visiting places like Tessie's. We would rate Tessie's as an A+++ for service, ambiance and more. We are returning tonight and will in the future when in Lake Tahoe.

We were a touch early so decided to grab a drink at the bar. I don't recall anyone else being here at the time, so we easily found two seats. When our friends joined later, they just grabbed two more seats next to us. I originally wanted a Jameson, but they don't have that, so the bartender suggested the irish whiskey they do have. I can't remember the name to save my life, but it was comparable. Price was fine. I'm from SF so sticker shock rarely happens to me. Our bartender was nice and attentive. I was thinking of playing some video poker to kill time, but I couldn't find a place to put cash. Am I missing something? Or is my eyesight just super bad? I have no idea, but I guess I saved myself some money. I'll take it as a sign it wasn't meant to be. A fine bar for a round of drinks. REVIEW #3842

We always get great service from Clay and make a point of stopping by when we're in town. Not a big fan of the $1 bet minimum to get free drinks, but appreciate getting comped our first drink when playing the video games. Drink prices are reasonable and love that the hotel is dog friendly, including HQ. Our fur baby Rochelle had a great time "playing" the games. Wish the air ventilation was better. Air is very heavy with smoke, which aggravated my allergies. Overall, a good spot to spend a few hours drinking, watching sports and trying to break even on the games.

At the end, you won't get an apology and you get embarrassed in front of whole casino. Inexperienced workers, who call themselves securities, act like they are officers but in reality they probably never got to work with police department so they just harass innocent people. That is their highlight of the night, thinking they found someone with a fake id. Luckily, actual officers were fast and pleasant to work with.

The entrance is cool looking, except the fact that they had 10 security guards standing outside it. This did not help me feel safer, if anything I questioned even going in, but my brother in-law insisted we go in since Peek was too pricey for bottle service. So here we go... On Saturdays, they charge an entrance fee of $20 for guys and girls are free. Once you walk in, you can feel how small this place is. Immediately to the left you will find the only bar in the club. Directly in front of you they have maybe 5 "VIP" tables and a couple go-go dancing stages. Behind that is the DJ booth. This place is nothing special. I probably would not return for a second visit, merely because it smells like vomit, the DJ sucks and transitioning between songs and the vibe just isn't there for me. You just can't go from playing ratchet rap music, to a slow country song...no, no, no, no, no. Who does that? I would have to say, spend the extra $20-50 dollars to go to Peek, that place at least looks like and feels like a club ready to party.
