Beautiful views and delicious food too! We stopped by without a reservation and they were able to see us right away. The clam chowder was delicious so was the rest of our breakfast. We order some old-fashioned from the bar and they were really tasty. I appreciate that they use a big cube of eyes instead of the regular ice machine. Our server was really nice and she even brought my husband a chocolate treat for his birthday.

10/10 for the food, the service and the ambiance! It truly doesn't get better than dining at Edgewood. The cocktails were delicious. We went for brunch / lunch and had the eggs Benedict - divine! Also loved the wedge salad, we got it again when we went another night for dinner it was that good! The lamb chops were delicious and perfectly cooked. Simply no notes! A must go to when visiting South Lake Tahoe!

The food was great! We had crab cakes, shrimp cocktail, beef tartare, ceasar salad, lobster bisque, French onion soup, lobster mac and cheese, mushroom ravioli and filet mignon. Everything was fabulous! The hotel was beautiful and had lots of great picture spots. I learned while we were there that the hotel has a Michelin key. One of the few in the US.

Celebrate my mom's birthday dinner at The Bistro and our experience was definitely unforgettable. First of all, I would like to shout out to Kelsey, my server for the night, she was amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and treated my table with a lot of care. This restaurant is beautiful, their setup feels so sophisticated with charming fireplace near the host station. We got seated at a table with a view to the lake. Got recommended Tiramisu Martini and Lavender Lemon Drop, both of the craft cocktail were tasty, the Tiramisu Martini tasted very similar to Espresso Martini but sweeter and creamier, meanwhile the Lavender Lemon Drop have a refreshing citrus taste with the sugar rim, you cannot taste the alcohol in it but it definitely there. For food we started with Lobster Bisque, Kelsey helped us split the soup into 2 separate bowls without us even asking for it, so thoughtful of her. My mom said she love her bisque, for me it's a solid 4/5. Then we got some bread and butter, which was pretty good as well. The main entrée was 14oz Wet-Aged NY Strip, we requested for Medium Well but should have gone with Medium instead, it was my bad but the meat quality still great, then Kelsey making sure to do it family style where the meat were cut for our table, so lovely of her. Kelsey then recommended us to try all 3 of their sauces: Béarnaise, Chimichurri, and Au Poivre, with just $4 extra. It was a great suggestion and my favorite sauce that night ended up to be Béarnaise even though I have always been a Chimichurri fan! We also got roasted root vegetable as our side dish and it was cooked to perfection. It was an amazing experience for me and my mom, and we glad that we picked The Bistro to celebrate her birthday in Tahoe. I'll definitely comeback to Edgewood and try all 3 of their restaurants/bars in the future, but so far for this trip The Bistro really impressed me with the wonderful service and great food!

We visited this establishment for my best friends birthday dinner. Walking in it was nicely decorated, the lights were dimmed just enough and the vibe was really nice. All of the wait staff were extremely nice and very polite. Our waiter made Sistine with the drinks and food. I ordered the Tiramisu Martini 10/10 . We ordered them octopus for an appetizer , I'm not going to lie I was very apprehensive as I'm yet to have octopus as taste as what I had in Italy. I was pleasantly surprised it was perfection. For the main meal we ordered the tomahawk steak, OMG!!!! That thing was huge. 5 of us ate off this steak and there was still some left over. The Lobster Mac and cheese was good as well as the asparagus. We will be back

The Bistro was very nice! Our waitress was very friendly and sitting outside on the patio the views are amazing! The food we ordered was very tasty and the burger I had was above average! Afterwards we walked around the course a bit before heading home. You have to valet your car but if in the area I would recommend you check this place out!

The Bistro was nice and we enjoyed the drinks here as well. It's a sitting lounge type bar that leads in from both front lobby and outside to the pool, greens and lake. Service was just ok, nothing of note neither good nor bad so average. The Mussels on the other hand were excellent, great flavor so we were very pleased with this dish. Not a bad venue at all, would return.

This menu is amazing! Diego and Kelsey were incredible and gave us the best experience. The food is every bit as good as it looks. Fantastic view and sunset too!

Bistro is an absolute treat! Very quaint and comfortable perfect for a birthday lunch. Lovely service, great views of the water and delicious food and drink.

Keely has been our waitress several times at the Bistro, and she is truly the reason we keep coming back. Yes, the food is fantastic...we always order the curry mussels paired with a great bottle of wine, but Keely is what makes every visit memorable. She is an absolute ray of sunshine. She's warm, genuinely kind, incredibly courteous, and has a way of making every guest feel like family. Her positive energy and sincere hospitality create an experience that's just as special as the meal itself. Beautiful surroundings and great food may bring people in, but exceptional customer service is what keeps them coming back. Keely consistently goes above and beyond, and her dedication doesn't go unnoticed. She has such a bright future ahead of her and is a tremendous asset to Edgewood. We hope her outstanding customer service is recognized because she truly deserves to be commended. Thank you, Keely, for making every visit something we look forward to!

10/10 service, food and cocktails! Edgewood restaurants never disappoint. I came in for brunch and was blown away with how delicious my meal was. I had to order a few things of course! I would also like to highlight the incredible service given by Agustina. She was so helpful, knowledgeable, and welcoming!

Not the best experience. There was no host greeting for quite a while, and the line of people waiting grew long. They didn't have any outdoor tables, but said we could order at the bar and sit outside. The bartender was forgetful, unaware, and frantic. We ordered a Caesar salad and lobster roll -- it took 45 minutes to arrive, and the restaurant wasn't that busy. On the positive side, the mocktail I ordered was excellent, and the views from the outdoor area are gorgeous. But overall, for such a nice hotel, the customer service here was truly disappointing. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

Hello, can we just walkin or do we need to make reservations? thanks…

I was able to walk in for brunch without a reservation.

Are dogs allowed at patio seating?

Hello Sabrina - thank you for reaching out to Edgewood Tahoe Resort. Edgewood Tahoe does not allow pets on the property. However, we do make accommodations for service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Please feel free…

    Is there Outdoor dining?

Yes! Great views of the lake!

Can customer hang out at the beach after lunch at Bistro?

Guests not staying at the hotel are more than welcome and encouraged to grab a cocktail from our pool or bistro bars and head to the beach!

Do I need to ask reservations for s'mores?

No they have a cart set up you can grab from

Can we come early and get drinks (is there a bar/lounge area) we can go to BEFORE our dinner reservations?

There's a bar across the restaurant but we didn't go in there. We did walk around the grounds by the water and there was a place to sit by the pool with a fire wall. Wish I can give your more information and hope you have/had a nice dinner.

    What's the dress code (dinner)?

For dinner I'd suggest smart casual, however this is Tahoe, so there maybe folks a lot more casual with their attire. The Bistro has lovely views and I'm sure you'll enjoy your evening.

Accept walk ins ? Open for lunch on Monday?

No. It's reservation only. You can call ahead of time or you can go online and reserve your table.

    Can I reserve a table?

    Yes!

You need to call and ask. I do not know.

Service was extremely slow as they only had one person working the front. She was taking orders and making drinks. Including going to the back and making the smoothies. She was really hustling and continually apologizing for the wait. Everyone was really patient and we even gave her a big tip for all the work she was doing. I do believe there was a serving person in the back making the sandwiches. We had two of the 3 breakfast croissant sandwiches. There was one with hollandaise sauce and another with goat cheese and arugula. The one with the hollandaise I liked best initially, but unless you gobble it fast why it's still hot it's not the best. You need to eat it while it's piping hot. It's your typical breakfast sandwich. The one with the arugula and goat cheese was interesting. I'm not a fan of arugula so I had my doubts. As it turned out it was my favorite. The arugula wasn't too much. It balanced out the egg, tomato, and goat cheese. If you aren't familiar with goat cheese it's a lot like cream e. Same consistency. I'd order it again. They have plenty of cozy seating. I liked the tucked away booth in the back that we sat in. It's right before the bathroom. You won't see it till you head down the bar. There was a steady stream of patrons. Mostly only ordering drinks. Coffee drinks of one sort or another. The ones that were getting sandwiches were getting the arugula one. The space is narrow. You wonder what was there previously. They also have a full bar. Thank you for the adorable tissue packet. They have a basket of them for those that leave reviews.
