Lots of reviews for this new place and I was apprehensive to even try the Sea Bass, as so many have been disappointed, so we went with the top posts of Goat Cheese Balls, Huge shrimp tacos, and double smash burger. All were very tasty and presented well. Our server was attentive and took good care of us. The Goat Cheese balls temperature was a bit cooler than expected for something fried and the tomato slices for the burger included parts of the tomato that no one would want to eat. My wife was impressed with the decor, but it was a bit much for me. I know they will get these things tuned up over time and be consistent with food quality (like Hell's Kitchen). read more

I went here on a dinner date with my bestie. We were very excited to treat ourselves to a fancy dinner after a day full of adventures in the mountains. The decor lives up to its name for a Vanderpump restaurant. The cocktails were phenomenal. But that's the end of the good review. Our waitress greeted us and took our cocktail and appetizer order and then took our menus away without asking. Though briefly flattered that she assumed that's all we consume, we had to ask for the menu back. We got the wagyu steak and the lobster cobb salad. The steak was good, but the plate was heavily portioned with fries and four half spears of asparagus the Cobb salad had very fresh ingredients and beautifully presented, but the salad dressing barely registered on our tasting buds. Besides lemon and hint of Mayo, I'm unsure what the dressing had. Obviously, we didn't order dessert. Definitely not worth waiting for if you don't have reservations. I had to check out this place after seeing the show and everyone bragging about the food and drinks at Lisa Vanderpump's restaurants. I have to say, this restaurant actually lives up to the hype. Delicious food and drinks and the decor is unique and fun. You feel a bit like you're in a different world and as if you may just see a group of vikings at the next table. Overall experience was okay, the food and drinks were good, but the initial experience of trying to make reservations or figure out if we could walk in was not easy. I could not find a number to call the restaurant and someone at Harvey's gave me the wrong number to reach the restaurant, so we were showing up not knowing if we could just walk in. The restaurant was fairly empty for all of the reservations supposedly being filled. Word of advice - Do not come here with an odd number of people as walk ins! I was in a party of 3 (no reservations) and we waited 1.5 hours to be seated at the bar. The hostesses took 2 parties of 2 before seating us and there was another party of 2 that sat themselves at the bar with no issues. The hostesses did not communicate to us at all about when we would be sat or why they were taking other walk in parties before us, so we had to ask. The way their bar seating is set up, they accommodate parties of 2 or 4 before odd number parties because the bar is split in sections. Moving on to the drinks - the espresso martini came with a donut and pieces of chocolate and the drink was very good. The bartenders were very accommodating and the other drinks we got were also tasty. BUT one drink came with some moldy mint and another drink came with a wilted mini carrot, not very appealing or fresh. The food was delicious and came out fairly quickly. They were unfortunately out of goat cheese balls but the ahi tostadas and shrimp tacos were great. The restaurant itself was very visually appealing and the atmosphere was pleasant. Wolf was quite the experience! Blown away with every step into the restaurant. It's a vibe in and of itself. Every detail from the walls to the table stands out. The plates, napkins and table lighting look custom to the Wolf name. The service was outstanding. Our server was wonderful, knowledgeable and kind. My wine came out fast and our shared plates also came out swiftly during a busy dinner time on a Saturday. We tried the garden greens salad, boneless chicken wings, waygu sliders and Mac and cheese. Cavatelli and pot pie was good. The dessert, the pine cone was 20 bucks and covered in cereal... Very bad customer service across multiple touch points. - apparently they don't have milkshakes... took them 10 minutes to tell us that. They don't have ice cream oddly. Why is it on the menu then? - we tried to use our players card when paying, apparently it wasn't working and they had no way to run it - a server walked by me and said, excuse me, and pushed me out of the way - our server was great at first, then she disappeared for like 20 minutes and we just sat there We dropped 365 for 3 people, for that much... they need to train their staff better. read more

The Wolf, it's more than a restaurant but rather a spellbinding experience. We celebrated my husband's birthday dinner last night, kid free. The ambience is out of this world. When you walk into the space, it feels like you are entering into an alternative universe. The textures, decor, spacial awareness of the exquisite surroundings felt like we were on the set of a Twilight movie. The service delivered by Hilary felt like my best friend guiding us on a tour of Narnia. She was knowledgeable in all the cocktails, menu items, and wine list. She gave us time to make our selections and gave divine recommendations. For the food and drinks, we went full fare and almost ordered one of everything, but settled on the famous goat cheese balls, how could we not, they're "famous", Caesar salad, I'm a sucker for a good Caesar salad, the lump crab and corn hush puppies, the red prawn campanelle, and the Wolf signature double smash burger. For drinks, a Lazy Hoe, the Black Bear, a Big Bad Wolf, and an Old Fashioned. For dessert, espresso martinis. All the cocktails were well crafted and flavorful. Our dishes came out timely and delicious. The Caesar salad is a non traditional take on a classic but done better than expected. Our favorites were the hush puppies and the goat cheese balls. Their ball game is unusually good. Our night ended in the library where we enjoyed the eagle eyed view of the restaurant. We will be back with our kids. There's beautiful wolves looking down on you. There's owls. It's very interesting and fun. I went to the other location of Vanderpump in Las Vegas in Caesar's Palace that was kind of like a fairy garden theme and this one called Wolf is even more cool than the Fairy garden. Decor is absolutely stunning. Cocktail presentations are beautiful. Food overall was excellent. The Lobster and Shrimp Cobb salad was excellent but two of the shrimp were not fully cooked and raw. But the flavor of the salad was outstanding. No ice tea but impressed the server was able to get some from Hells Kitchen which was much appreciated. The food runner dropped our apps on the table and knocked and spilled my cocktail and never returned to clean it up. The s'mores dessert sounded great but arrived with only a few marshmallows. Would have been better if it had larger toasted marshmallows for a more traditional presentation. Expect to spend on average $100 per person. Just a few opening pains that I'm sure will be worked out. Overall we enjoyed our experience and plan to return. read more

Main opening is on April 18th we were told. We walked In without any reservation and we got seats at the bar which offers full menu. Our mixologist Nick was great, the drinks came out very well. Must see for cocktails and appetizers, skip out on the entree! BEAUTIFUL restaurant, but not practical. Ambiance - I have been looking forward to the opening of Wolf for a long time and got a reservation for my mom's birthday who is a long time fan of Vanderpump rules. We had a party of 4 and were seated at a small round table with a comically large menu that did not even fit on the table. No kidding, check the photo! The restaurant is absolutely STUNNING! Very instagramable and there was no cheaping out on the quality of decor. Our stools were sturdy and heavy, but not the most comfortable. The table setting was gorgeous and presentation of cocktails was breathtaking. However, not practical. I do think a larger table would have been more appropriate for our party and I did notice they use the same table for parties of 2 and 4. It would have been perfect for 2 people, but crammped for more than that. Going with a larger or small party would avoid this issue. The menu size serves no purpose aside from being inconvenient as they are on large boards, but the size of the menu itself is a standard paper with normal sized text. The menu also is not expansive enough to justify a menu that large. The serving platters are also too large for the dainty table as entrees are not served on a standard plate. The aesthetic is pretty though! Service - Great! They were prompt to seat us, very welcoming, and our waiter immediately greeted us when we were sat. He was also very attentive to refilling water and clearing plates quickly which did aid in helping the small table be less of an inconvenience. Everyone had a smile on their face and as a side note the uniforms look so good! I have never been to a restaurant with such unique uniforms that are professional, but also match the decor. I was disappointed that there was nothing mentioned or given as I put in the reservation notes we were celebrating a birthday, however I'm assuming that oversight is due to it still being a soft opening and they are focused on the core experience and will bring in those additional things later. Food- Goat cheese balls are overrated as it doesn't have much flavor, but the Wolf bread is where it's at!! Cheesy, flavorful, warm pull apart bread served with two tasty buttery spreads. I almost ordered another loaf! Crab balls were a bit too fishy for my liking, but that's personal preference. Entree wise: More decently priced than I expected, but was disappointed in every dish. The fish and chips is a hard PASS. It was greasy and bland, unfortunately the worst fish and chips I've had. Shrimp tacos were okay, it honestly tasted like something I could make at home. Maybe if served with more of a sauce and warmed tortilla it would pack more flavor, but mine was just fried shrimp, avocado, and slaw served in a tortilla that tasted straight out of the bag. The double smash burger was an impressively large portion! Huge burger and basket of fries! The burger was much better than the other dishes. Good quality meat, toppings, served with a heated bun and crispy fries. I would have liked to see the meat seasoned more, but overall a good burger. If I wanted a burger specifically though there are better spots. Lastly the chicken schnitzel I ordered was probably the best! I was initially underwhelmed with the flavor, but it was very moist chicken with a crispy coating and cooked to perfection. Again, I would like to see more flavor and the sauce served with it did taste like tarter sauce. Which wasn't bad actually, but it was not supposed to taste like tarter sauce per the menu lol. I'd skip out on dinner and just order some appetizers honestly as you aren't missing much! Cocktails- Jaw dropping cocktails!! Both in presentation and flavor! The old fashioned was served for us in a wolf bottle and smoke, it felt like a show. The cosmo and pumptini were fruity, light, and thoroughly enjoyable to sip on. How can I forget the shot ski!?? Iconic! We ordered a two person shot ski with vodka and it tasted like a chilled coconut, delicious and fun! The prices were shockingly reasonable as a Tito's in soda at the casino bar next door was $15 and served in a plastic cup with no lime(major shade to them) but come on over to Wolf's bar and get your drinks here for a very comparable price! Overall- We don't have a restaurant of its kind anywhere in the area! The experience feels luxurious and I will absolutely be back for that wolf bread and cocktails with the girls. It would also make an incredible date spot! The bar is very pretty as well, we were seated far away from it but it was huge and spanned the entire wall. I would not recommend it for dinner or if you are looking for a delicious meal. I rate it an overall 4 as the decor and cocktails really are impressive, plus attentive staff. We weren't able to get reservations for Memorial Day Weekend so we had to get in line to get a spot at the bar. Staff was very professional and very helpful. To start I had the smoked Manhattan worth it! For starters we had the Goat Cheese Balls very rich and good. My wife had the 8oz wagyu and I had the double smash burger. We both agreed the burger had the most flavor and was really good. I then finished dinner off with Cry Wolf. The ambience is what you would expect from a reality TV star. Our server Haley was amazing she didn't make us feel rushed and spent the time talking with everyone. Made a reservation 1.5 month in advance with a 25 dollar deposit, making a special request to celebrate an anniversary. Food was sub par, drinks were delivered 5 min before meal, and no acknowledgement was made concerning any special occasion that was listed. Will not be returning or encouraging anyone to attend this establishment. Basecamp pizza down the street has exceptional service, live entertainment, and food. Beautiful setting and delicious drinks but the food needed more flavor or sauce. I know it's a tourist setting but you would expect big flavor in the over the top settings. Keep everything the same. Just double the sauce, the aioli and any other accents I noticed that people did not stay very long. I don't know if it was the price of the drinks which are quite pricey or the place doesn't have the party atmosphere I would expect. We have eaten at the Vegas location and they seem to have it a little more together. Food wise they are new and I will give them another chance. read more

For my meal I had 2 appetizers, the lobster tacos and the prime rib sliders. I expected the lobster tacos to be way less meat, but they were STACKED to my surprise. I was extremely satisfied. The prime rib sliders were good, nothing crazy. I would definitely get them again though. My boyfriend had the wagyu burger and he said it was great. Hard to go wrong when the wagyu is from SRF. First off let me say the service was top notch. Now the food. Not so great. Ordered the colossal shrimp tacos. Tempura shrimp with a jicama mango slaw. They were very dry and the shrimp was placed on top of the slaw which just didn't work. Also there was nothing colossal about them. Three regular size tacos. The shells were just warmed corn tortillas. Would have been allot better with a fried shell. Flavor was ok but if I am being honest I have had far better shrimp tacos at my local dive bar. We also ordered the lobster ceviche crisps. Basically a wonton taco with lobster and a jicama mango slaw. What's with this jicama mango slaw? 2 items on a very small menu loaded with this slaw. It's lacking flavor I could barely taste the mango. Not too creative if you ask me. They were pretty decent but again a little dry. Maybe pairing both of these taco type items with a sauce or aioli option would be great. Also on the table we had ordered "A tower for two". There was no tower but instead a platter with various veggies and a hummus that was gritty and not silky smooth like a hummus should be. The flavor was lacking as well. Along side of the rabbit food and hummus was another platter with decent potato chips and an artichoke dip that was just so so. We also ordered the goat cheese balls. They were crispy and full of flavor. We did like those. They were delicious. Ordered a couple cocktails those were top notch. One drink was called the "Lazy Ho" and we thought that was funny. The other was called "Bitchen Heat" which we also thought was clever. "Bitchen heat" was Mezcal, tequila, ancho chili liquor, Cointreau, lime, cactus and habanero. Very flavorful. The "Lazy Ho" was vodka, aeprol and ginger liquor and grape fruit. It was flavorful as well but not as good as the bitchen heat. We took an order of cinnamon rolls back to our hotel room. They sucked. Honestly the worse cinnamon rolls we have ever had. Day old cinnamon rolls from 7/11 are far superior. The ambiance is pretty cool I'll give them that. As a huge Bravo fan, and with a Lisa Vanderpump establishment right in my backyard, this was a must! I've had my eye on this place ever since hearing LVP was opening a restaurant in Lake Tahoe. I came here on a Saturday for a pre-Mother's Day dinner with my wife and mother-in-law and we had a fantastic time. I have been to the other LVP restaurants in Los Angeles and Las Vegas and, in my opinion, Wolf is the best. I absolutely love the theme, and the decor was stunning, which was no surprise, but I was still blown away by how fantastic all of the details were. The service was great too, with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. My wife and I ordered the Apple Butter Old Fashioned for drinks and it was one of the best whiskey cocktails I've ever had. For food, we ordered a bunch of apps and small plates, and then each of us ordered an entree. All of the food was fantastic as well and I really don't have a knock on anything we tried. The goat cheese balls are famous for a reason, they're amazing! The only downside of this place is the pricing. Be prepared to spend a good amount, depending on what you order and how much. We came in knowing the prices ahead of time though so we were good with it. One last thing, I love how the restaurant does not feel like it's located right on the casino floor. There are slot machines just steps outside of the restaurant but you would never know it! read more

Well, in my 50 years of being married to a man of Hispanic origin, I have never felt that we were discriminated against, yet what I was hoping wasn't going to happen, actually happened. We were stuck in the corner in the front at a table that was too big for us. I asked for a table a couple of rows away that would've accommodated all seven of us. I was told no, and two hours later when we left, no one had been seated at that table. So my 50th anniversary luncheon was a big disappointment. read more

I had a reservation tonight that I cancelled (paid for the cancellation fee) because I was so excited to see a reservation for Wolf pop up. I've been wanting to go back since I've been a couple of times and had their caviar martinis. I was excited to ring in the new year with these drinks. Tonight I was completely appalled by the staff. They called me less than an hour before my reservation when I was already on my way to let me know it would be a minimum of $2500 per table. This was one of the options but not the only option when picking my reservation. We tried to negotiate with them because we didn't need their bottle of Dom Perignon...sorry but you go to one of Lisa's restaurants for their cocktails. Also the manager was mad and said now I'm really not helping you (he wasn't going to anyways he was already walking away) when I took a photo but I needed the photo to prove that I had made it to the restaurant and was treated this way. This felt like a complete scam and now I'm left with no plans on new years. read more

I have been here 4 times and last night will probably be my last. Food it ok..probably a 3/4. However, we had 6 people and we were put at a big round table for ten and could only talk to the people next to you or you had to yell to speak to the people across from you. This has happened twice. They need to find more suitable tables for 6. In addition, the chandelier above our table only had two bulbs lit and it was so dark after the restaurant dimmed the lights at 7:30 we had to use our phones to read the menu. That table should not have been used until the lights were fixed. Our waitress did light the little lamp on our table but it wasn't enough. Lastly, the music was too loud and thumping. Not very conducive for a nice dinner, more like a bar or club. That coupled with the other issues did not make for a very enjoyable night. read more
