Burnt Garlic Fried Rice Veggies
Paige R.

I've ordered takeout from here a few times but today I ate in (starving after a doctor appt). Service was friendly. I always order the veg burnt garlic fried rice and I personally love it. Amongst the veggies is baby corn, which I really like and don't see at many places. I order it medium, it's pleasantly spicy. It's a generous portion, usually enough for me to have about half saved for lunch the next day. I also ordered the fresh lime soda and it was so refreshing. Not syrupy sweet - just tangy and light. It was perfect to go with my meal.

This place is the most accurate representation of the "indo chinese" fusion cuisine that's extremely popular in india. Quick and friendly service with a faux fine dine setting. The spice levels are deliciously on the higher side. Of the many times i've dined or taken takeout from here, these items have never disappointed: 1. Veg Burnt garlic fried rice 2. Chicken manchurian gravy 3. Non alcoholic masala lemonade ( ask for less "masala" which are spices 4. Fresh lime soda The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that food is not quite consistently great.

The Pros: The food is good. Good take on the spices and combinations presented. The amount of food received is reasonable for the cost of the dish. The inside of the location is so pretty! Love the decor - somewhat a cross between a "sexy" club and nice dining. The location overall is a good one for the location and the pricing is some what in line with other establishments like this one. The Cons: However, my low rating goes to the service - particular one server. Let me paint the picture like this for you: We arrive and immediately we are greeted by two older men and server #1. Server #1 asks, is this our first time and starts to place the menus on the table. We provide that it is and from there she provides us some additional time to look over the menu and grab our drinks. Issue #1: the menus only list the name and price. It doesn't provide really any information on HOW they prepare their dish. What the adjustment of spice level can be for the dish or anything additional to determine if you want it or if there is something that might not be able to have due to allergies. Suggestion #1: update the menu to include dish descriptions and if the spice level can be adjusted. This helps with understanding the dish and not having confusion with the server trying to figure out what's in it and so on. While we await for server #1 to return, we are approached by server #2. They again are asking if we need any help and if we are ready to order. Okay, it's only been 2 mins, but we let them know we are still looking the menu over. Within 2 mins, server #3 has come over. Again, asking the same thing. At this point, I am like what is going on? Are we talking to long? Then I realize once server #3 leaves there is an issue. There is main server (we will call her "Runner"). Runner is literally running around demanding server #1, #2, and #3 to do this and that. They have no time to even stand and think. You see the stress over their faces - they go to take an order, Runner is right behind them - demanding it be entered a certain way in the system or do this or do that. I felt bad for server #1, she never returned to our table because she was "dragged" here and there. As soon as she would be on the way back, Runner would demand she make this or take this to this table. Server #1 would look at our table, but again - never made it back. There was some much "drama" service was hectic and confusing. We didn't receive some of the items that should have come with the dish. Other tables - were consistency asking for items that should have been provided with the dish. You would look up and see Runner fussing or carrying on with the servers. When in fact, if she would have left them alone - they would have been better at doing their job. Hopefully, this is not the case and this is a one off type of day. Looking at the comments from others regarding service, I don't think so. Runner, should take a lesson in proper customer service and how to treat your wait staff. They are reflect of you - not of themselves. IF you are treating them bad and causing confusion, the rest will be displayed in how they are able to conduct business and attend to your customers. With that, I don't believe we will return for service.

I LOVE a good Indo-Chinese cuisine and I feel like this restaurant is a gem! I'm actually very surprised to see the amount of low rated reviews this restaurant got but it didn't discourage me from trying it anyways. However, I only got to base my review off 2 dishes but those two dishes were enough to sell my mom & I on going back again to try some more. We got the food to takeout, but the restaurant looked clean and we were greeted by friendly waiters. The drums of heaven, which a lot of people know by the name "chicken lollipops" was absolutely delicious and very flavorful. The angry shrimp were pretty good too, tasted like any other saucy firecracker shrimp. You can get the food extra mild, mild, medium, and hot. We chose medium and it had a good amount of heat to it so if you can't take spicy food don't underestimate medium.

Update for my last review... This place still rocks!! Don't let the seemingly low volume of patrons worry you. They have a thriving take-out business, and they had a 50-person order go out while I was there despite only 4 couples dining in. The food is AMAZING, FRESH, AND PACKED WITH FLAVOR!

Black pepper chicken. Good. Tasted a bit like chilli chicken with black peppers.

I have been here for dining for more times than I care to admit, this is a rock solid place for indo-chinese food! The waiting time for food is not long at all, usually within 10/15 minutes, which is a big plus and cant say the same for other good Indian places (Looking at you Anjappar) Drums of heaven, Manchurial Chicken, Chilli Chicken, Black pepper chicken, pepper cottage cheese, Szechuan fried rice, hakka noodles -- all very good, very satisfying. The corn kernel starter is absolutely amazing, crunch chewy corns smothered in green onion, salt pepper garlic-- awesome. Ginger Chicken, burnt Garlic fish -- also good, but prefer the items above. Was always served with polite service.

I am not impressed with the food, but I think their food is good enough to give them 3 stars. They def lack flavor in dishes without the sauces they give you that you really gotta add to bring out the flavors in their dishes. For the price though, they give so much food! I think it's a great place to go with friends and family as their servings are huge and with the price. My suggestion is to work a bit of the flavors of all the meals and I would this this restaurant has potential!

My most favorite Indo-Chinese restaurant. (Note: if you're unfamiliar with Indo-Chinese cuisine and has never tried it, do not look further) The inside of this restaurant is pretty spacious and welcoming. Really good for large groups with reservations of course. I have always experienced great service from the folks here; may it be dine in or pick up. Sweet Corn chicken soup, Chili lamb fry are my favorite appetizers. Love their Hakka noodles , Singapore noodles, Szechuan noodles/fried rice , chicken manchurian. The list goes on.

Vegetable Manchurian Dry Szechuan Noodles Veg
Janki P.

I picked up veg Manchurian (dry) and veg schezwan noodles. The noodles weren't what I was expecting in terms of flavor and spice (they could've used more sauce/spice), but they were still good. The veg Manchurian wasn't bad but it was dry and hardened (didn't taste fresh). The Manchurian balls look big but inside there is barely a filling and it was difficult trying to chew the outer portion. Overall, this place is pricy but the quantity was reasonable and I did enjoy my meal so I'm satisfied. I don't see myself returning any time soon, I would like to try out other indochinese places in the area but this is a good option if you're craving good indochinese food.

Imperial Garden has long been my go-to place for Chinese food, but over my last few visits, I have noticed that the quality of the meat has gone down The restaurant layout is split into two rooms. The first room features booths and an elevated seating section, while the second room has tables for larger groups. The decor is simple and traditional. The service here is still very good. Although I haven't gotten my favorite waitress during my last few visits, she made a point to come over and talk to me this last time. She even remembered my exact order and that I like it prepared without onions, which I truly appreciated! Unfortunately, the beef itself seemed a little rubbery. A few of the pieces were completely fine, so I am not sure whether the meat was just overcooked or had sat under a heat lamp too long before being served. The fried rice seemed better than ever, though, as was the eggroll. I think I will need to start trying some new vegetarian or alternative dishes here on my next visits to avoid the meat, as I still really enjoy the local atmosphere and excellent service.

Portions are very generous, and we usually have enough leftovers for a complete meal the next day. It can get crowded during peak times, so I highly recommend a reservation. Two stand-by Chinese starters, Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoon, are a great way to begin any meal. The Egg Rolls are big, crispy and full of flavor. The Crab Rangoon are the best I have had anywhere. These won-won wonders are tender with a silky-smooth Cream Cheese and Crab filing. Imperial Garden does all the basic Chinese Chicken dishes to perfection. The Hunan Chicken, is slightly spicy and stir-fried with a few vegetables in a savory sauce. My grandkids love the Sesame Chicken). These bite-size chunks of Chicken are coated with a thick, sticky, slightly sweet sauce and liberally coated with Sesame Seeds. Two other favorites are General Tso's Chicken - double fried and sautéed with fresh green peppers in spicy sauce and Empress Chicken - marinated chicken, lightly fried and sautéed with broccoli, baby corn, straw mushroom & water chestnuts. Peking Style dishes are another winner. Whether it's Shrimp. Pork, Beef or Chicken; these tender morsels are coated in a tempura-like slurry, stir-fried to perfection and smothered in your favorite sauce. I like the Sweet & Sour Pork version. It comes with a bit of Carrot, Water Chestnut, Bell Pepper and Onion; and is served with either White Rice or Fried rice. Throw in a lightly-hopped ice-cold Tsingtau, sit back, and savor the moment.

I went for dinner on a Saturday and it was packed so expect a slight wait at peak hours. Parking can also be tight as it is located downtown. We were seated quickly and our food came out FAST! Great service. My friend and I shared the Scallion Pancake, Bang Bang Shrimp, Dry-Sautéed Green Beans, and Spicy Crispy Fish. We definitely got one too many dishes, but I am glad we got to try them. The Scallion Pancake was solid. It had the right amount of thinness and flakiness. I would love to taste more scallion next time, though. I think that the sauce that it came with was a bit sweet and I would rather a more savory or saltier sauce to pair with the pancake. The Bang Bang Shrimp was under the appetizer category but it looked like an entree. Lots of small shrimp in a creamy, sweet, and spicy chili sauce. I loved it! The Dry-Sauteed Green Beans were probably my least favorite dish. I wish it had a taste (or more of a taste) of soy sauce or garlic, but it was still decent. The Crispy Spicy Fish is definitely one of the most popular dishes here and it lived it up to the hype! Not sure what seasonings were on the fish, but it tasted a bit salty, spicy, and savory. The fish also tasted fresh to me. We also received complimentary rice, which was needed with our savory dishes! I would definitely come back here in the future! There are so many options for food on their menu and almost everything was a hit. Plus, service was fantastic. We loved the retro, diner-style feel of the place, and everyone was friendly. My favorite, though, was our own server. She was very helpful when I inquired about the pad thai. She shook her head and told me "no," I should try the chicken ho-fun instead. I've never had a server do that, and she was right! It was huge, and had very wide rice noodles and lots of vegetables and chicken. The flavor was on the mild side (no spice), and reminded me a little of drunken noodles. My friend got the steamed shrimp dumplings (very good--he shared) and the chicken curry. The serving was huge with lots of crisp vegetables, and he enjoyed it, although he didn't find it spicy at all (our server said it would be). There was no parking out front on a Saturday afternoon, but there is a large garage around the corner that is free on the weekends.

The restaurant has outdoor seating, booths in the front and another small dining area further back that you can't see from the front. They also seemed to have a pretty active takeout business. I arrived before they opened and looked at the menu on the door. I decided on the Triple Delight, but it wasn't on the inside menu; they made it for me anyway. It was shrimp, chicken and beef with a mixture of veggies, and I got fried rice for an extra charge. It was delicious, and the flavors were great. The portion was large enough that I got three meals from it. They offer plenty of teas, but others in the group wanted coffee, which they do not offer. They do offer Coke products. This place is completely different. You choose from several options of meal sizes and then you pick all of the meat and veggies from a giant list for each plan. At first I was worried we would run out of food...it just didn't seem like it would be a lot. But we ended up taking a ton of food home and we had 8 people and we got the combo for six!! I was actually worried about being full myself since I'm keto and I don't eat some of the items but I was plenty satisfied. They have a make your own sauce bar with a ton of offerings. Can't go wrong with peanut sauce and soy with some green onions. Perfect dipper. We also got two soup bases, one spicy one plain and they were both great. Service is really good. One of the kids dropped a tray of meat and they gave us another without asking which was very kind of them. All of the food comes on a cart and there really isn't a ton of room on the table for all of it so we were shifting plates around a lot and they would come by and take the empty or dirty plates very quickly. Drinks were never empty and everyone was friendly. It is a bit of an upscale style for a hot pot restaurant with some asian flair such as the Japanese toy vending machines. You can buy tokens for them at the desk, I think it was 6 for $5. Again, one of the kids dropped one under the machines and they just gave us another. I don't think any of them won anything anyway. I would definitely come back here for a date night but this place excels with groups and is very affordable with a big group so that's what I'd lean into if I was picking a hot pot restaurant.
