When I felt like I was being annoying, she was sweet and willing to help me every step of the way. She even made me laugh a couple times! And Rosa who took my bloodwork and preformed my breath test, was gentle and sweet. This was truly a shockingly good experience because I went to a different lab company the day before and I was so frustrated with them, I walked out. Oh and the screen in the wait room to show when you are next in line is a nice touch! The last place I went to, I sat in the waiting room for an hour after check in and was never acknowledge. Asked a lady who came to the front desk, Latisha (I think her name was, heavy set African American woman with glasses) why it was so hot. She got a huge attitude while standing in an air conditioned area. They made 0 accommodations for the lack of temperature control. There were no Fans, no offerings of water nothing! Just heat and attitude. Response: You had an attitude like you were the one sweating in the lobby. Yes I called you something along the lines of being difficult (no cussing, no body shaming, no commitments on that ratty synthetic wig you had on, nothing). If you are the owner of this business you should really think about how you talk to people. Yes my business was taken elsewhere. I hope this review also sends people where their business will be appreciated. Just because others won't stand up and say something doesn't mean that it's ok the way you treat and speak to people. After waiting 15 minutes in my vehicle, I went inside and waited another 15 minutes before approaching the staff. They informed me that I needed to check in at the kiosk. By then, my appointment was already 25 minutes past, even though I arrived 10 minutes early. I arrived at the facility at 7:05 for my 7:15 appointment and checked in through my phone, but after going to the kiosk at 7:40, I was told that, because I was late, I would be treated as a walk-in. To clarify, I was not late--I was early. I had to leave by 8:05 due to my schedule. It's misleading to advertise online check-in if it's not effectively implemented. I visit your lab frequently, often twice a month, and it's absurd that I have to submit my insurance card whenever I've already provided that information on your portal. The customer service I experienced was inadequate and lacking empathy. As a disabled person, walking is a significant challenge for me, and I'm currently dealing with mobility issues. While I have a wheelchair, I struggle to get it out of my vehicle without assistance, which further complicates matters. I recognize that LabCorp's time is valuable, but so is mine. I manage a large company and don't have the luxury of waiting an hour for lab work. Making an appointment should minimize wait times. Additionally, I called your customer service for assistance but never received a call back.
