Dr. Majidi is about the only reason I still make trips back to Phoenix. I've been seeing him for well over a decade, and what amazes me is that the quality of care, positive attitude, and genuine concern for his patients has never changed. His adjustments are incredibly effective, but what really sets him apart is that his knowledge goes far beyond chiropractic care. Whenever I have questions about my health, nutrition, fitness, recovery, or general wellness, he's always willing to take the time to explain things and point me in the right direction. I've honestly received more practical health advice and guidance from Dr. Majidi than from many of the primary care physicians I've worked with over the years. What I appreciate most is that he genuinely cares. I never feel rushed, and he always takes the time to listen and answer my questions. You can tell he wants his patients to live healthier, better lives--not just get through an appointment. After more than ten years as a patient, I can say without hesitation that Dr. Majidi is one of the best healthcare providers I've ever worked with. If he were a general practitioner, he would probably be my doctor. I couldn't recommend him more highly. read more

I was recently gifted a consultation and adjustment after a very painful, acute episode of stiffness in my neck and shoulders. I've been in pain for the last year but I haven't found anyone that can help me until I met Dr Majidi. He gave me a thorough exam and the best adjustment of my life. The other doctors I have seen were much less extensive and I left almost as painful as I was when I went in. Dr Majidi used compression therapy, electric current (it felt good!), a percussion tool, kinetic tape and his own talent to make sure I was much better than when I arrived. He is kind and everything you'd want in a healer. I will absolutely go back! read more

I moved to Arizona almost 8 years ago & when I tell you it took this long to find a chiropractor even remotely close to what I had back home (Michigan) I have had zero luck. I've seen at-least 4 different chiropractors since relocating and have all resulted in the same neck and lower back adjustments with a pat on the back asking when I wanted to schedule my next appt. No follow up to the why's or pain management and even more alarming when my son with scoliosis is receiving the same adjustments with no questions asked or follow up BUT FINALLY someone informative, answers questions, gives the why behind with an athletic background (which always is a world of difference). Almost got home sick with Dr Majidi as I finally felt like I was receiving individual treatment with the education behind it. He was welcoming, comfortable atmosphere and very personable. Excited this search is over !! read more

Highly recommend Dr Majidi! He is not your "typical" snap & crack chiropractor. He identifies the source of pain and makes a plan to fix the problem at the root cause! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Maji for almost 7 years! He always takes care of my needs with my lower back (Runner). The great thing about him is he can take care of your normal 9-5 worker with back issues or deliver care to an athlete because he understands that world as well! He is now at the NEW Lifetime Fitness in the Biltmore, awesome place and NEW toys to help keep your back in prime working condition and pain free! GO SEE HIM NOW! read more

What a great find!!! Let me first say that I'm a big guy and not very many people have what it takes to do the deep tissue work on me. The staff here is excellent at what they do. Dr. Majidi did a great job adjusting me and relieving the pain I was in. The prices are very good and the service superb. They have a new life long customer. Sam read more

Awesome place and the staff has great people skills. I've had limited experience with other chiropractors, but I remember feeling pressured to buy things or spend money I hadn't planned on spending. Phoenician Health operates differently...they are genuinely interested in you and your health and do not try to sell an expensive array of services you didn't ask for. Dr. M and his staff are very personable, professional and sincere. I have had chronic back pain for years and have been feeling considerably better since I started going to Phoenician Health. They are always willing to take the time to explain things to you and make recommendations about your health. Individualized treatment that empowers the patient to be educated and engaged in the recovery process--something I feel is hard to find with many doctors. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this place. If you're interested in chiropractic care, naturopathic medicine or massage therapy, this is the place for you! read more

I've been meaning to write a review for the staff and Dr. Majidi but because of the ongoing issue with the other's side insurance, I had to be prudent and wait until it all settles. Now that it's settled, I can happily review with five stars. Dr. Majidi knows what he's doing, is professional, helpful, and very skilled. I found his clinic on Yelp and the raving reviews did not disappointment. Besides from the important fact that he knew what he was doing, he was also very accommodating and sympathetic. His staff was also very professional and talented as well. The massage I received for my pain was much-needed. I'm quite sad that I had to move to California, or else I would continue going here. Thanks for all your help! read more

Dr. M... what a life saver. I have been suffering from continual back pain for about 6-8 months now. Finally, I broked down and went against my massage training and decided to see a Chiropractor. I am by no means cured, but look forward to the day when I can be pain free for a day!! Go see Dr. M!! read more

If you are looking for someone that is professional, knowledgeable, and caring - you need to visit Dr. Majidi and his staff. I have been seeing Dr. Majidi for over 10 years and still amazed at the amount of knowledge that he possess. The staff is very professional and courteous. The staff here is very professional and Dr. Majidi was very helpful and thorough during my time there. It was such an incredible experience that I felt like I'm a new person afterwards. Not only is it convenient since you can make your appointments online, but they provide excellent service as well. I'm definitely going back soon! read more

I began seeing Dr. Majidi for desk-job related back pain in October 2013. Over the course of several adjustments, he has helped me understand the cause of my discomfort and how best to mitigate it in the future. Each adjustment begins with a few minutes on a traction/roller-table. This is my favorite part! The rollers travel the length of your spine using adjustable pressure and reach all the places you can't on your own. Shortly after, Dr. Majidi discusses how I've been doing while feeling around my spine and performs an adjustment accordingly. He also uses deep tissue stimulation for areas of concern. His adjustments are executed with confidence and I feel comfortable with him. In addition to chiropractic adjustments, he takes an interest in my personal health endeavors by providing advice regarding my training approach, techniques and form. He is very active and nutrition-minded; we often engage in related conversations that are beneficial to my overall health and wellness and I appreciate the time he spends with me to do this. His office staff is cheerful and accommodating and I am never pressured to make additional appointments that exceed my needs. Because I have hypermobility, I see him every 2-3 weeks and feel fantastic as a result. read more

I feel better already. Excellent Service at a reasonable price. No hard sell or any of the other stuff. Going back next week or whenever I need to. John read more

UPDATE: Dr. Majidi did do right by me after I complained about my experience. He did refund my payment and so I am updating my rating to 3 stars because of how he handled things after my visit. Thank you. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I usually try to write only positive reviews of places or companies, but lately I've come across one too many bad doctors in this valley and fed up, felt compelled to describe my experience here at PHG. Unfortunately, it differs greatly then that of most of the other reviews. It is those other reviews that convinced me to try this place. I guess not everything works for everyone, but I wanted to share my personal experience. Completely unimpressed with this place and Dr. Majidi. From the dingy exterior of the building to the dimly lit interior, the clammy handshake to his lack of attentive listening - this first and only visit was a complete waste of my $40 co-pay. I left in as much pain as I came in with. Mostly because Dr. Majidi didn't do much of anything. There was no physical therapy, no massage therapy included in my visit, which was disappointing as I called and asked about these things before I made my appointment. When I tried to point out areas of pain, he actually wouldn't look where I was pointing and just kept up some weird intense eye contact. How do you know where I'm hurting if you refuse to look?!! He disregarded my comment about a condition I have that affects my muscles and instead pressed very hard instead of being gentle or respectful. He didn't seem to have the instinct on how to treat me and in some cases seemed a bit too forceful. He really only did a cursory evaluation, not a full one and didn't even want to take xrays or have the ability to do so. I've had much better initial exams with other chiropractors before. My $40 got me a 5 minute "adjustment", some kinesio tape and instructions to keep icing my back. He had offered to do some stim and ice during the visit, but then didn't do it and instead taped me up real quick and said he was done. I truly felt I had been ripped off. He seemed proud to state that he treats profesional atheletes. I'm no athlete, just a normal person in pain needing some true care and treatment. I've seen chiropractors for over 20 years. Some real good ones and others that were so-so. Sad to say, I'd rate Dr. Majidi near the bottom of them all. read more

What a great place! I found them on Yelp and I am so glad that I did. I took advantage of the 1 hour massage and new patient exam and walked out of there feeling fantastic. When I first arrived I was met at the desk by Dr. Majidi, I gave him my paperwork and we talked for a few minutes (nice to be greeted by the Doctor, that doesn't happen very often). I then received a wonderful hour massage and then saw the Dr. for the exam. He really took the time to talk to me and then adjusted everything....not just my neck and back, but, arms, hands, legs, feet.....awesome! I also like that appointments can be made easily online, super convenient. I am an extremely satisfied customer!. read more

I'm not sure why it has taken me so long to write a review but doctor Majidi is amazing! I went in because after years of working at a computer (and horrible posture) I started forming a bump at the base of my neck that looked awful and constantly gave me headaches. I was skeptical that this could be corrected but after 4 sessions with the doctor, my bump is completely gone and I haven't had a headache in weeks! I wish I could post pictures of the before and after! SO grateful for the amazing work he has done. I will recommend him and continue to see him for any chiropractic needs in the future! read more

I am very sensitive to strangers being in my personal space. I rarely go to the doctor, I don't get mani/pedis and I only deal with one hair dresser. So when I needed to see a chiropractor I was nervous. Not only did Dr Majidi make me feel incredibly comfortable, but he solved my back issues! I have scoliosis and I sit at a desk all day and so I have a lot of neck and back pain. I know I should probably visit him once a week, but even with my once a month to once a season visits, the effects are immediate and long lasting. I've been his patient for about 3 years now and I love going into his practice. read more

I have been seeing Maji for almost 10 years. He is an amazing chiropractor and uses different modalities depending on your needs. Each time I come in he asks a full range of questions to make sure I get the care necessary for that visit. I was in a bad rollover accident once, even went to the hospital but they said everything looked good. Weeks later, still suffering from pain, Dr. Majidi was able to determine I had a torn ligament in my neck. He fixed me right up. I have a very demanding job where I am on my feet, in concrete floors for up to 12 hours a day. My monthly adjustments make sure I am pain free and have proper spinal alignment. It has also helped to make my migraines less frequent. I can't say enough wonderful things!! read more

I hurt my back at the gym and needed to get a tune up. Dr. Majidi fit me in ASAP and made me right. I've been to countless chiropractors in my life and I've never responded as quickly as I did after my trip to the Phoenician Health Group. In addition to getting my back straightened out I received a thorough education on my body. I would highly recommend Dr. Majidi and his team at Phoenician! read more

There are many criteria in which to judge a Dr., their office, and their staff. My short list is: Dr's knowledge of his specialty Personalized service (Not feeling like a sheep getting herded out asap) The office staff experience Wait time as compared to your appointment time Cost I consider myself a stringent consumer as I educate myself in whatever product or service I am buying, and I hold the experience to a high standard. Phoenician Health gets 5 stars in each of the previous categories. Dr. Majidi knows much more about the body than a chiropractor would be required to. His passion for the body shows through his work. He gives each patient very personalized service and you always end up having a good conversation about your health including nutrition and exercise. He is also a DJ so feel free to ask him about music. The office staff is always friendly and welcoming. They manage the patient load efficiently and you never find yourself sitting in the lobby waiting well past your appointment time. I have been a cash patient as well as an insurance patient here and never felt like I was even paying what one would expect given the current state of health care. The office includes other services as well including massage / phyisical therapy (My insurance covers these, what a treat), Homeopathic treatment, and even weight management. I highly recommend Phoenician Health if you are looking for a quality medical experience. read more

I needed to see a chiropractor and of course I turned to Yelp for help! I liked what I read about Dr. Majidi and his staff so I decided to give them a call. I was surprised when it was actually the good Doc himself who answered the phone! I made an appointment and was in the next day. They are located in my area of phoenix too which is great! Dr. Majidi is very personable and just an all around cool individual. We happen to share a common interest in golfing and he is always up to swap golf stories. Beyond being a good guy, Dr. Majidi is also a gifted chiropractor. His evaluation of my physical state was thorough and explained. His adjustments are concise and to the point. He offers many types of treatments. I have been back a few times and have had auto-roller table massage, e-stimulation, icing, heat, taping; all sorts of disciplines depending on my level of need. It's also great that he is on my healthcare insurance network. My co-pay is very affordable. He doesn't push for more treatments the way some chiropractors can. He is simply good at what he does and wants patients to see him when they feel they need to. I was in today as I had thrown my back out trying out a dance move I used to do in 1992...getting old I guess! He told my I had Kid n' Play-itis which dates me! If you are new to the city the way I was before finding this practice, do yourself and your back a favor and pay Dr. Majidi a visit! Thanks Doc! read more

Dr. Majidi is an awesome chiropractor. He is so personable. He always remembers me & who I am...not one of those things where your doctor makes a couple notes to lookup before they see you. He genuinely remembers almost everything I tell him from where I work out to what's happening at work to my dog etc...you can tell he really cares about his clients. He always gives great advice about exercise diet etc...without saying hey you should make a nutriton appt with me. He gives advise on the places to workout based on what you're looking to do what to take before and after working out etc...and since I've been seeing him regularly the pain I was getting is gone. Jessica is great too & is a great massage therapist. If you need a chiro definitely go see Dr. Majidi read more

I found Phoenician Health Group a while back when I was looking to lose some weight (they offer massage, chiro, wellness, etc.....). I made an appointment and everyone there was very accomodating and super nice. The front office staff and Dr. M were great. He takes time to sit and help with issues and advise you on what is necessary to help achieve your goals, unlike some practices where it feels like a cattle call. I would def see Dr. M again! read more

Dr. Majidi: topnotch - professional and skilled.

I have been looking for a really good chiro in the area for quite some time. Saw the great reviews for Dr. Majidi and decided to try him out. He was nice and answered any questions I had. I was disappointed that he did a very basic test of my mobility (bend neck forward, backwards, and side to side, touch toes, bend at the waist) Most other chiros do a more comprehensive exams to determine which area needed adjustments and/or treatment plan. I was told first visit would be 40 mins which was unusual because other places I've been too was at least an hour. My whole visits was a total of 30 minutes. The manual adjustment was awkward and painful. My mid-back is still in pain from the adjustment. The price is great though but I am also looking for quality and sincere care/treatment. You may like him but the search continues for me. :( read more

I had never been to a chiropractor before so was a little nervous and was leery about being pushed into buying things I didn't want or need. I can tell you that Dr M. is not that way at all. I've been seeing Dr. Majidi for a couple of months and I couldn't be happier. About six months ago, I started experiencing headaches related to a sinus infection. After two doctors, three rounds of antibiotics and a sinus CT scan, I finally went to Dr Majidi. The sinus headaches were actually migraines. At this point, they were occurring daily and it was affecting my professional and personal life. During my initial appointment, Dr Majdi took the time to listen to everything and answered my questions. He explained a treatment plan for me to follow. After my first adjustment, the migraines weren't as severe. After about 2 adjustments, I was down to 1 a week. After about 3, my migraines stopped. I was out of pain, even my neck pain is gone. I'm so grateful I found Dr. Majidi! read more

Dr. Maji is not only knowledgeable, but actually cares about his patients wellbeing. Very disappointed with Dr. Majidi and his past adjustments the last year....He was very good at one time, but had seen a progressive downhill routine in my office visits. My visit was literally no more than 5 minutes from signing in, paying and scheduling for next visit. Since I connected with a new chiropractor, I realize how little I was receiving from his 3 minute adjustments. No other consultation or xtra treatment. He does not have the caring attitude that he once had initially. It took one visit with the new chiro to see the immediate difference. read more

Usually I am a skeptic when it comes to going to a Chiropractor, but after getting into a car accident, I researched Yelp to see reviews and I am so glad I decided on Phoenician Health Group. The staff is great and Dr. Majidi was truly sincere with helping me get better. Not once did I ever feel like they just wanted my money, like a lot of Chiropractors do. He took a strong interest in my health, not just from my accident, but overall in and I am feeling back to myself again. Dr. Majidi carries his own line of supplements and I highly recommend trying them! I was having trouble sleeping and he has a sleep-aid that is natural and worked perfectly! Dr. Majidi is really great - he asks different questions every time I go and I just told him yesterday that he has a new fun fact for me every time I see him, whether it's about nutrition, exercise, or just wellness in general. He's a genuinely nice person to spend a half hour appointment with, takes good care of me, and again, really seems to care about helping me take care of my whole person. I also overheard another patient rave about the massage therapist they have on staff, so I'll likely look into an appointment with her very soon. read more

I went into Dr. Majidi because I was having back pains. They were able to schedule me on the same day, which I needed because the pain was becoming increasingly worse. Two days after my visit, my back was feeling significantly better. It has been a week since I last went to Dr. Majidi and my back is almost at 100%. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Majidi because he takes his time with each patient. I will definitely make another appointment if I have any pains in the future! read more
