If you don't, plan on having quite a wait to see the Doctor and don't be surprised if it is over an hour. I don't mind a reasonable wait but 90 minutes is quite a wait when you are with a 91 year old with Alzheimers. But then again, a wait of an hour and a half on average, I believe is to long for anyone. I really debated between three and four stars. They asked a lot of questions, had me get an MRI, and ultimately they couldn't figure out what was causing the pain. Ok, no big deal, they ended up referring me to a neurologist. The problem is, the neurologist never called to set up an appointment. Additionally, I've called Dr. To's office at least eight times over the last month to get a status update on the referral, and have never received a call back. Each time leaving a voicemail because Dr To's medical assistants never pick up the phone. All I can say is that I hope I don't have a serious underlying condition because there's been a ton of valuable time wasted while I wait on this clinic to do their jobs.

Extremely disappointed with ATI Physical Therapy and their billing practices…read more Before I even scheduled my first appointment, I specifically asked them to verify my insurance and tell me exactly what my cost would be per visit. I was told it would be approximately $60. I intentionally waited several days for them to verify my insurance information before moving forward because I wanted to know the cost upfront. At my first visit, I was charged $65. It was $5 more than quoted, but I didn't make an issue of it. Now, approximately 25 days later, ATI is trying to charge me an ADDITIONAL $95 for that same visit. That brings the total cost of ONE physical therapy visit to $160. When I called customer service, I was told the original $65 was supposedly only a "deposit." That was NEVER explained to me. Had I been told that $65 was simply a deposit and that I could later be billed another $95, I would have never agreed to the appointment. What makes this especially frustrating is that I specifically asked for the cost BEFORE scheduling and gave them time to verify everything with my insurance. Their customer service experience only made the situation worse. Patients deserve transparency about what they are agreeing to pay. Quoting someone around $60, collecting $65 at the appointment, and then nearly a month later billing another $95 is completely unacceptable to me. I would absolutely NOT recommend ATI Physical Therapy based on my experience. If you decide to use them, I strongly recommend getting your expected TOTAL cost in writing before receiving any services.

My experience with other chiropractors has been okay and baseline effective. Dr. Secrest is without question medically intuitive and never fails to have an amazing insight as to what needs help in order for me to have better function and less pain. Dr. Secrest and I met after I was involved in a high speed hit and run auto accident on the 101. My lane of traffic was crawling along at idle when I was reared ended at full speed, then the person took off. My right bicep muscle tore horizontally across, while both of left and right arms' the bicep tendons split vertically. 70% of my muscles in my upper back were torn as well as my groin and wrist. When I came through his door I could barely walk. I was unable to dress myself or take care of myself without extreme struggle. Every bit of life was a challenge. Today I can function pretty normally with only occasional "ghosts" of pain that show up from time to time in the different injury sites. I am 1, 000 miles away from the train wreck I was when I walked into his clinic! To add to the challenge for Dr. Secrest I was born with Ehler's -Danlos Syndrome. (A collagen mal-synthesis disorder that causes hyper mobility of the joints and tendons and excess scar tissue post injury.) On impact I could feel internal surgical incisions from old C-Sections tear. I could feel all my injuries tearing when adrenaline took over to keep me going for the next hour or so. The next day was HELL! Covid showed up only four months after the incident leaving me with NO HELP with every day living with injuries. This situation prolonged my healing and made me a tough case for all my doctors. Sadly, I did not meet Dr. Secrest until about a month and a half after the accident. Anyone who is on a treadmill of slow healing really should let Dr. Secrest analyze what is going on with them. His intuitive insight is far out of the scope of average doctors! He is a GIFT in MY LIFE! I thank GOD for him and his team! He saved my life, my future and in turn, my family!
