They handled my billing terribly wrong, their office submitted the claims with incorrect member ID, thus got rejected by the insurance company. I contacted Labcorp numerous times without resolve. I've been here 4 times in the past two months. Unfortunately for the same tests. The first time I naively thought the lab requests that my pcp's office sent to lab Corp would be on file and I could simply schedule an appointment and have the specimens drawn - nope. Apparently this is not a isolated event, as other patrons were told the same. The next time I came I had the lab requests in paper form. But apparently the lesson at the desk felt that I only needed certain tests drawn not all that were on the lab forms. So when I returned to the pcp there was missing results that just simply weren't entered to be done on the specimens provided. Third time, I signed in using their check in iPad only to not be called up until I went to the desk and then be told to go back to the check in kiosk again and wait some more. Forth time I came prepared, had paperwork, ear buds, and plenty of time to waste waiting as each time I've tried to get an appointment online it's a 2 week wait. I would strongly recommend using Sonora quest if your hmo pays for it, as I thought they were bad but lab Corp certainly had lowered the bar.. read more

After waiting 2 hours, I finally went in to get blood taken out. The lady was twirling the needle in my skin and moving it side to side. I couldn't handle the pain so she removed it and sent another lady in. With the exception of the plaza not having up to date signage and not being able to get through to the front desk, I had a great experience. Labcorp is now located in the building feature in my photo, on the second floor, in suite 201. It would have been East to find if the property signs were up to date. Actual LabCorp office was clean and efficient. I love that I can make an appointment online and wait in my car. They texted me when they were ready for me and I went right back. At 9am on a Tuesday the waiting room was totally empty. Chairs were set up for proper social distancing and staff wore masks. I drove out here to this location because all the other locations had awful (and scary) reviews. It was a good move and totally worth the drive!!! read more

I'm not sure if I am reviewing the correct Lab Corp location, but beware of their ineptitude.--I had blood work drawn at Comprehensive Women's Health (CWH) clinic in Gilbert. Lab Corp then picks it up. I had a STAT order on a Friday from my doctor. I arrived at CWH around 8:45 (they open at 8:30) for the blood draw. Even with the STAT order, Lab Corp never sent my results back to CWH prior to them closing at 5pm. (Supposedly CWH even called them.) Because Lab Corp failed to process my STAT order, my doctor had to call me after hours and send me to the ER to receive a medication that I needed immediately. This 4 1/2 hour emergency visit cost $2265.60. After insurance, I am expected to pay $1021.77 out of pocket. All because LAB CORP DIDN'T DO THEIR JOB. Had they completed my STAT order I would've been able to receive the injection I needed right at CWH. Instead, I am stuck with an emergency room fee. Thanks a lot, Lab Corp, for the additional bill due to YOUR INCOMPETENCE. I sent feedback about this experience through the Lab Corp patient portal and was completely ignored. Go to another lab if you have the option to. - I'd give zero stars if I could. read more

My doctor had not sent the lab order; so they suggested she fax it to them so we could get the lab work completed. Then, one of the ordered tests was not covered. Went in at 7:45 am to avoid having to wait the wave of people that go later in the day. To my surprise I was the only one in the office when I arrived! I was quickly signed in, and within 5 minutes I was called into the back. The phlebotomist was super friendly and nice! I appreciated that since most of the time they can be grumpy. We have been to this location twice in the last 2 months, my son has a 6mos standing order. He arrived checked in, receptionist said they had no doctor orders? Orders that they had made copy of 2 mos earlier. He called his doctor had orders faxed over. Receptionist then said, they dont have him anywhere in the system? Name spelled wrong-no. At wrong lacorp location-no- very strange, this was his third visit to the same location. They drew his blood and said they dont take Aetna insurance- yes they do, they have already bille my insurance 2x prior. Send him on his way saying a $90 self pay bill will be coming.......absolutely crazy. Chose this location for cortisol blood labs. Was not able to make an appointment online because none were available, so I though that "walk in" would work out because the online reviews were good. Entered at 7:45 AM and walked right up to the window to sign in, said "hello" to the lady at the front desk and got nothing. No acknowledgement whatsoever, she didn't even look at me. I sat down and 4 minutes later she called me up to take my information. After reading my lab orders, she handed my paperwork back and actually tried turning me away by stating that they wouldn't be able to complete the afternoon blood draw because they were closing early at 3pm. My doctor ordered a cortisol test which consists of two blood draws. This test is done twice in the same day -- once in the morning, and again later in the afternoon, around 4 p.m. That's because cortisol levels change a lot in the course of a day. After explaining that I would go ahead and proceed with getting my blood labs done at this location, and that it should be okay and that my doctor would accept the lab work, even though the afternoon blood draw would be taken early before 4. I asked her to go ahead and process my information and I would have my doctor send new orders. After a heavy sigh, she took my paperwork back and began to scan it in. She handed my stuff back to me and began to lecture me by giving me the "your insurance won't pay for a second test, if..." and the infamous "I'll get in trouble if..." lecture. Even though the blood is not drawn within the specific time frames, it's still okay as long as it's drawn around those times give or take an hour or so. Your results will show the level of cortisol in your blood at the time of the test and will indicate if the cortisol levels are low and if cortisol levels have fallen throughout the day. I believe my doctor is confident enough to determine if cortisol levels fall within normal range. After waiting a while I was called back by the phlebotomist and was taken to a room. I explained to her what was going on and told her to go ahead and draw enough blood for the cortisol test and that I would have my doctor provide new orders. The phlebotomist told me that she would help the next person in line while we wait on my new orders. I called my doctor and explained what was going on. He faxed over new orders immediately. While waiting for the phlebotomist to finish up with the next person in line, my 5 yr old son needed to potty. I took him to the nearest restroom, which was nearby the front desk receptionist. While waiting outside the restroom for my son, a patient who was finished with his labs approached the front desk receptionist and asked her if he should wait there or take a seat in the lobby. The front desk lady muttered "just go sit out there, people are wondering around back here". After my son finished up in the restroom, we returned back to the room to await the phlebotomist. The phlebotomist quickly entered and drew my blood. She was super sweet and very professional. After I was done, my son and I began to exit. I stopped by the front desk window to check out and to find out if there was any copay due. I got an abrupt "no" with a scowl and a glare. Sheesh! read more

I probably tested this office to the maximum yesterday morning, March 15, 2019. Went in at 7:05 without an appointment hoping to beat the crowd for a normal blood draw. The office has two check-in kiosks and I was already eighth in line. Check-in was easy...the kiosk scans your driver license and insurance card for pertinent information. The first check-ins began to be called back around 7:20. They were returning very quickly. I was about the tenth called back (others with appointments went ahead of me) at about 7:45. The woman who drew my samples was the best I have ever had. I didn't feel the needle go in, the draw was taken quickly, the poke was covered with gauze and I was sent on my way. She was also very nice especially considering how pressured she was to get through the mounting numbers in the waiting room. read more

I love this location because of Wendy, shes the best at drawing blood. I've been to several locations in the past and either they refuse to draw from my hand or stick me several times. Wendy only sticks me once, its quick and painless. She's always friendly and remembers me. Usually the wait is less than 15 min. for a blood draw. I go in the middle of the day between noon-3pm. Depending on which tech you get, you may be blamed for the tech's inability to draw blood out of your vein. That gets so annoying! If my doctor (who NEVER has had a problem getting my vein for a blood draw or weekly IV) didn't have his office way in north Scottsdale I'd have him draw my blood (since I have to do so weekly for the treatment I'm under). Only because this Labcorp is super convenient in locale, and the wait is quite short, I keep going. But if I find some place better that's closer, I'm jumping this ship. read more

Upon arrival there was no one immediately available at the window. After the phlebotomist/receptionist came back to the window she was very rude. We sat down to wait after being ordered to go to the check-in kiosk. The receptionist continued to be rude to everyone who came in by ordering them to do this or that. A few minutes later she could be heard talking to another employee from behind the window, very disrespectfully about a patient in the lobby, where the patient could hear. I was surprised to find out later that she was also the one to draw my blood. She had zero "bedside manner". She ordered me to put the chair arm down for my own blood draw. She ordered me to pull up my sleeve at which point I informed her that the other arm would be better. She then ordered me to take my other arm out. She barely used any alcohol to clean the site. And there was no warning she was going in. I'm an adult, but I've been pricked enough to know that it's pretty standard to prepare the patient for the stick. After I asked a question about whether or not the order said to be fasting. She responded she didn't know. I came fasting to be prepared, but it should be standard procedure to ask the patient if they are fasting or not as it's important for some tests. Truly disappointed with my first experience at this place. There are enough other lab companies that I see no reason to make the effort to go here again. This is sad because it seems you may have faster turnaround times. Nevertheless, I won't voluntarily be with such disrespect again. read more

I went early as possible for a 3 hour glucose test. I found the wait to be next to nothing. The staff was very nice to me. I didn't expect much considering it's a lab but I didn't have any problems. Because of the bad reviews I was very nervous to go get blood drawn at this location. But I was pleasantly surprised by my experience getting my blood drawn here. The staff was very friendly and quick. There were several people there at the same time and I only had to wait a little bit before getting taken back and my blood was drawn quickly and carefully without any pain of problems. I have gone to this location 3 times. Each time, I had an appointment. The first time, everything worked like it should. I was in and out in 15 minutes. The next time, I had an appointment. I arrived 10 minutes early and signed in, indicating that I had an appointment. 10 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment time, I was called to the desk to check in. I asked how long it would be and reminded them that I had an appointment. The gal looked at me with such irritation, motioned to everyone else in the room and let me know I'd have to wait until they processed all the walk ins. I reminded her that I had an appointment but, it didn't matter. It was 45 minutes after my appointment before they called me. I called corporate office and complained and asked what the point of appointments are if they are going to take all the walk ins first. I was told that they should not do this - they should take appointments and fill the walk ins in between the appointments. So, I decided to give them one more try. The exact same thing happened. I had an appointment but, it was almost 40 minutes after my appointment before I was called. The staff here really couldn't care less. They act irritated if you ask questions, they stand around talking. They take their own sweet time getting anything done all while more and more and more people are filling into the waiting room. Recently a job I applied for, and about to land, sent me here to do a drug screening. I just walked up to the desk gave my paperwork asked how long this process is? The lady responded about a 20 min wait. I said ok but that's not what I asked, I asked how long this process is? The whole shebang.
