I've asked for a new copy twice. Nothing. To say I'm am very bummed is an understatement. Scottsdale eyewear's customer service is top-notch. Their pricing is even better!!…read more If you'd like to read, here's my boring story. I was blindly going to have SW Eye Center take 2 pairs of JMM's and 2 pairs Dita's and convert them to readers for about $2400. The doctor wasn't in to do my eye exam which would've cost me $65 which I thought was kind of odd because I'm spending so much money with them but ok... so I go to their Mesa location. They can't fit me in, they sent me to the other Mesa location and they can fit me in but they want to charge me $260 because they're a different owner. Best decision I ever made was to pick up my glasses and start go to Google search. Found 3 eyeglass companies, checked out 2 of them and Scottsdale eyewear cause the last one farthest away from where I had picked up the glasses, so I stopped there at the very end of my search. Walked in & I was immediately greeted by very friendly staff. They're very knowledgeable. Told them when I wanted to do, they said they could just order lenses, which is the first time anyone has said that out of the other 3 businesses. Everybody wanted to order special made lenses because they're high-end glasses but Scottsdale eyewear said there's already lenses. They just have to order them and throw them in. That being said, I was thrilled, I really wanted to turn my nice glasses into readers. Old people problems you know what I'm talking about... then came the price I was blown away! Best price out of all the eyeglass companies. Thank you, Scottsdale eyewear for converting 4 pairs of glasses and do readers. I just dropped off another pair and I'm purchasing another pair and as soon as it comes in, I'll be dropping it off so they can turn them into driving glasses. If you're looking for a no BS scenario and you just want things done right and good time and not it gouged, this is your jam.

I wanted a…read morequality pair of sunglasses that didn't cost a fortune, and Shady Rays ended up being exactly what I was looking for. They offer styles very similar to Ray Bans at a fraction of the price, without feeling cheap or low quality. Shady Rays is primarily an on-line retailer. The biggest downside to ordering sunglasses online is having to buy them before you know how they'll actually fit. If the size or style doesn't work, you're stuck dealing with returns. So when I found out Shady Rays had a physical store in Scottsdale, I immediately made plans to stop by and pick up a few more pairs. The store itself was fantastic. Huge selection--I'm pretty sure they had their entire collection available to try on. Needless to say, I probably tried on almost every frame in the store before making my final choices. The staff was excellent too. Unlike places like Sunglass Hut where associates hover over you nonstop, the team here gave me plenty of space to browse comfortably. The manager was friendly, knowledgeable, and more than happy to help whenever I had questions. The prices and overall value are hard to beat. I walked out with several pairs of sunglasses plus extra cases and sleeves for less than the price of a single pair of Maui Jims my wife recently bought. One of the biggest reasons I keep coming back is their lost and broken protection policy. I've had to use it before, and replacing a pair only cost me $16. That alone makes these sunglasses worth it. If you want stylish, quality sunglasses without spending designer-brand money, definitely check out Shady Rays.

My toddler is obsessed with my sunnies a broke a pair about a month ago :( We ended up getting a pair for myself and for our toddler. The prices are amazing, especially considering the lost/broken protection is included. I seriously expected them to be at least over $100. This store has some fantastic features: - a mini putting green. Pretty sure it's to test out their golf glasses but they do have a plastic set of kids clubs that my daughter loved. This kept her (and my husband) occupied while I tried on glasses in peace. - ability to recycle glasses. Love that eco-friendly option for broken shades! Wish I knew about that when my daughter broke mine, I just threw them in the trash :( - holiday sales! Today was Memorial Day and the entire store was 35% off, including the nice magnetic case I got for my new sunnies.
