I had a Marantz 2230 and Sansui au-4400 from the 70s and they repaired both in less than 2 weeks.

Stay away!!! This tech shop is very unprofessional. It all started when I called to ask about…read more repairing my personal dvd player, which stopped reading dvds after the warranty expired, go figure. Anyway Daniel whom I spoke with was positive they could repair it. He sad he checked on line and was able to find hits for parts for it, so I went in dropped it off and left my deposit. After two weeks I had not heard from them, so I called for an update. Daniel appeared as if he did not no who I was and after describing my product he said oh yeah sorry I'm real busy here. So after a month goes by no call or updates I made the decision to pick my devise up, because they were obviously pushing me to the back or they just couldn't fix it, either way don't keep me waiting like your doing something when your doing nothing but wasting my time. When I went in to get it Daniel had taken off the four screws that held the back on and said it would take thirty mins to put it back on, I'm like why it took me five mins to take it off when I originally went to check out if it was a loose wire in the beginning so I know he was not telling the truth. I wanted my deposit back and he did not want to give it back. He said that the owner would contact me Via email to discuss the matter, not that he would call but that he would email. Real nice, very professional. Thank god I used American Express, I'll let them deal with it. Mean time please avoid these guys. There shop was very unorganized like one big messy closet of junk.. While they do full service, insanely…read morecustom home theater installations, they have a deep affection for 2 channel audiophile grade systems, with multiple set-ups throughout their showroom. It's almost easy to drive right by the store and not see them from the outside as they are located on the second story of a small retail strip storefront above a nail salon. But once you're at the top of the stairs, you'll find yourself in stereo Seventh Heaven! From stand mounts to head-high floor towers, along with all sorts of amplification choices to drive them, EHT is a drool on tools, audio store adventure. A real Atlanta gem. I've been very happy with some modest stand mounts I purchased from them a while back. They have "craft beer budget" gear, along with 1787 Chateau Margaux priced equipment.

Upon entering the very nice showroom upstairs, I was immediately greeted by Scott. He was with another client, but he offered for me to look around and he would be right with me. As soon as he finished with his other customer, he came right over to where I was browsing and introduced himself. I explained to him my current income situation (or lack there of :) ), and that I had never been to his shop, but was just curious what he had. So he knew I was not in the immediate market. That did not deter him from spending time with me. He clearly understands developing a potential relationship for the long-term. I really expected Evolution to be VERY Home Theater centered. While they certainly have that expertise, they also have a ton of two channel HiFi! I would say their point of entry is the mid-fi market, but really specializing in Hi-Fi to the Super Hi-Fi. Scott took me around and we had fun listening to some amazing set-ups. They are very McIntosh heavy. This was by far the largest amount of McIntosh gear I have seen on display. They also carry Rotel and Marantz on the electronics side. For speakers, they have Dynaudio and Sonus Faber mostly. For analogue they carry some beautiful EAT tables. The shop is definitely drool worthy. Super amazing gear, beautiful set-up, and a friendly non-discriminating staff. I would say for the most part this is a "cost no object" type of place. However, if you have a budget in the mid to high 4 figures, they definitely have gear for you.
