The food was exceptional. Last minute change of plans in order to stay close to the Lodge. Service was a bit scripted but the bus staff was on point and would arrive to replace flatware and silverware the second we were done with our course. Overall a great experience.

Had a great date night at Wit & Wisdom! Food was delicious, seafood was fresh and the service was warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back.

Great find in Sonoma. Loved the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. Bonus points for being dog friendly. The covered patio was a great place to dine. We enjoyed the Parker Rolls, brick chicken, salmon, sticky toffee pudding and Wit & Wisdom chocolate bar. Everything was great and flavorful. The first batch of Parker Rolls we got had chilled areas like they hadn't been heated enough from the freezer. When I brought it to our server's attention, she immediately brought us new ones that were properly heated. I appreciated that they took them off the bill but wasn't expecting it because they made it right. We will return again when we are wine tasting in the area.

Came here for the first time with a party of 8 after wine tasting. Upon entering the restaurant the aroma from the kitchen was amazing. Our server Christian was personable and very attentive during our meal. We had the following dishes, salmon, cauliflower, seafood boil, wedge salad, gnocchi, bomba pizza, 16 oz prime ribeye with whipped potatoes and an order of the rolls, along with some cocktails. The food reviews are as follows, the wedge salad was a good portion and was delicious, the cauliflower, salmon and seafood boil were tasty as well. The gnocchi was described as too dense and tasting like fried mash potatoes. The bomba pizza was described as not too spicy but very good. My wife and I had the ribeye ( medium rare)and whipped potatoes. The steak was cooked to perfection and the potatoes were very buttery and incredible. Let's not forget the rolls, they had a nice butter/ pepper topping and came out piping hot with honey butter. Kumar at the bar made great drinks and was also very friendly and had good interpersonal skills. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for their food, service and atmosphere.

Returned to Wit & Wisdom for my birthday weekend this year and it did not disappoint. We ordered a mix of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The Parker House rolls, duck fat fries, pizzas, and candy bar dessert stood out the most. We also ordered a couple of tequilas that paired nicely with dinner. Service was top notch, ambiance was relaxing, and we all left very content. Pros: Great drink selections, delicious entrees, appetizers & desserts, and relaxing atmosphere Cons: NA

Amazing restaurant in Sonoma where the atmosphere is just right and the food is heavenly. My favorite dish is probably the duck wings, which makes you question how duck can be so tender. Highly recommend the tasting menu because each item is worth the price :) The service is wonderful from the sommelier to the server, to even the busser. Would definitely come back!

I absolutely loved my experience at Wit & Wisdom. My fiance and I had dinner here the night we got engaged so I might be slightly biased, but everything about this place was FABULOUS. Every member of the staff that we interacted with was extremely kind and attentive. The restaurant itself featured and open kitchen and tons of seating. The lights are dim and create an intimate feel. The food was excellent. We enjoyed and array of items with a wine tasting menu featuring local wines from Sangiacomo as well. My favorite dish by far was the chef special duck bolognese. I had never had duck before this, but the bolognese made it so approachable and the basil ricotta was perfectly creamy. Everything that I ate was fresh and full of flavor. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Our bartender during happy hour was so friendly and helped our group of 12 women feel comfortable and relaxed. The bar was spacious and had a lot of options for drinks. Don't forget to try their French martini!!! Incredible.

I am a huge fan of Micheal Mina restaurants and having been to several, was excited to try this! It did not disappoint! First we had an amazing dining experience thanks to our server Matt! He had great recommendations, great pace and was fantastic throughout our meal! Our group enjoyed wine but I had to go with the Pliny the Elder as it's a fantastic IPA that I cannot get easily at home We began with the insanely amazing bread rolls which wrote delicious then some appetizers. The beet ravioli which was a curious but very tasty dish and the dish that for me was the standout of the night - the crab and endive Caesar which was spectacular! I went with two appetizers rather than main - the Hamachi crudo; it was good but I have had better. The prices were a little too big and too thick and it just needed a little something to make it pop! The octopus was however great! It's a beautiful restaurant, amazing service, and perfect for groups! Had a great time and glad we gave it a try !

The service here was impeccable. I came with a party of five for my birthday. When we arrived they had a handwritten card for me for my birthday. We started with the Parker rolls and ricotta spread and were OBSESSED 10/10 on the rolls. We also got duck fat fries: delish! For the table we enjoyed two pizzas, the salmon entrees, two salads and multiple cocktails. We were stuffed and skipped dessert which in hind sight might have been a tragic mistake! The kicker to the entire experience was the email from the manager thanking me for coming in. Wonderful place. My one and only critique is the soda is not refillable and cost 6$ which I think is absurd. But again our server was upfront and explained it before so there were no surprises which we appreciated.

The Ambiance was beautiful. That said, too loud. The cocktails were beautiful and on point but the bottle of wine my husband ordered was not available and then they offered us something more the double the price as the only alternative in that price range. The gnocchi was not good. And the chicken was dry. Parker house rolls A+. Pretty much a mixed experience. If the 4 dinners we had in Sanoma it is the only place I wouldn't recommend. However it was packed in a Friday night so I guess other people enjoy the experience.

Amazing amazing amazing food!!!! And such great service! I'm sitting on my couch today, thinking about the delicious pizza, and hoping they delivered to SF. Get the pizza and the whole cauliflower - both were so good, freshly made, and delicious! The smoked old fashioned was great too. Service was fabulous! Highly recommend. Cannot wait to go back!

We love going to Wit & Wisdom. Mostly for the lobster pot pie but the whole vibe is just right. (Sonoma is a little less ____ than Napa and W&W is classy Sonoma.) I'm still rating 5 stars even though you were only serving mini pot pies and I had to turn it and deconstruct it myself. It's so delicious and our waiter put up with my antics.

When you enter you'll notice a more homey decor to the place. Warm colors all around and even warmer service once you sit down. Every single experience Ive had here is been nothing less of 110%. Theres always this good balance professionalism with lightheartedness that pair so well for the atmosphere. Because at its core this restaurant is high scale. It definitely has that higher scale vibe but if never comes off as pretentious though. This particular I took my wifey here for our 10th year anniversary together. And we were greeting by a nice little card from the "Fig Family." We ended up trying the Seared Halloumi and I was shocked at how much I liked it. Very light flavors but still enough variety with the crispy spigarello and pine nuts to keep things fun. The lemon never feels too overwhelming. For mains my wife got the Mushroom RisottoI think? Or maybe it was Butternut Squash Risotto? I got the Fig Burger and both were amazing. The only reason I didn't get her Risotto was simply because I already had it at lunch time, but that still didn't stop me from taking a bite. Each rice like grain had a perfect chew and flavor to each bite. Even being the picky person that I am with veggies, I appreciated the veggies addition to the dish. I still think though that the sure winner was my Fig Burger. This burger is everything we wish our local breweries burger was. A harmonic balance between salty and sweet. Im down to get a little crazy with burgers but if it's too sweet, it kinda loses the appeal for me. It takes away too much from the burgers roots. So yea. Go here. Make reservations too. I know for myself I made mine about a month in advance so it's hard to say how hard it is to get a table here. But hopefully it's not too bad. Parking by the way is just street parking. Despite that Ive always been able to get a park on W Spain St right before I pull up to the restaurant. OH! And thanks again Girl and the Fig family! You made the end to our anniversary quite magical!

Located just steps from Sonoma Plaza, there is street parking all around, but we took the complimentary shuttle from our hotel which is very convenient for a day of sipping bubbles. SIGH does not take reservations (first come, first served) but we had no trouble snagging a prime spot at the bar on a Friday afternoon. Morgynne was our server and super knowledgeable, giving detailed descriptions of wines we tried, and was patient with us, taking our sweet time enjoying our glasses and documenting our visit. I had the Champagne Flight ($35) and the #YEShusband had the Rosé Flight ($25). The Champagne flight included pours of: Champagne G.H. Mumm Grand Cordon Brut, Champagne Monthuys Brut, and Champagne Château de Bligny Grande Réserve. The Rosé flight included pours of: Cuvée Françoise, Langlois Brut Rosé, and Lucien Albrecht Brut Rosé. We also ordered some additional post-flight glasses of the Schramsberg Mirabelle Blanc de Blancs and Lucien Albrecht Brut Rosé to cap off our time at SIGH. Everything about SIGH is top notch: from the selection of bubbles ranging from California noteables to European standouts, to the curated decor and vibes, this is a must stop when you're in Sonoma. Sure I was interested in some food but it was also a football Sunday and I wanted a cold frosty beer to celebrate my hike and the start of my roadtrip. I don't do strict planning when it comes to eating and drinking. I often find it more intriguing when serendipity plays a hand. I'm walking down this town's main retail square, insured something was within reach. I pass by this unassuming dive bar with no signage but very well laid out inside. It was surprisingly quiet for a weekend afternoon in a touristy spot. Friendly bartender asked me what I wanted. But I ask first if I could get our local football game on and if they served food. Game yes said it would be on within minutes. Food unfortunately no but there were tons of options outside the door. Ordered a cold lager on tap from the east coast. The lager was light cold and refreshing. I think I finished it within minutes. Tender was quick to ask for a refill, love that. I next get a beer refill, and a Jameson on the rocks to quietly sip on, as I was now committed to watching the first half there. Very impressive glass and pour on the Irish whisky. I take a few sips but finish my beer, but this time much longer to down as I wasn't so parched now. I sip the rest of the whisky but now well diluted from the cold ice, which makes it so much more smooth to me. It opens the spirit, takes away the heat and blooms the flavors. My second round took over an hour. Then halftime hits in the game with a close score, even though my team did not look good. I tell the bartender that I'll close out to look for some lunch. By this time the bar was filling up. 3 perfectly timed drinks for well under $10 bucks a pop just sent me on my long weekend on a sweet note. I found food around the corner where they had a tv and I was able to watch the remaining of the game there. If no TVs were found, I would have gone back to the bar to finish the game. I was still pleased with my short experience there. Small town watering hole encapsulated.
