Very happy with the speed and quality of the service in replacing my iPhone 8 Plus screen. I recently cracked my phone's screen after dropping it on the street. I made an appointment on their website and came it. They explained the different services they offered depending on the severity of the damage but luckily I only needed to change the screen. I had two very positive repair transactions with Wireless Planet over the last two months. They first replaced the screen and battery on my old-but-trusty MacBook Air from 2013. The repair went very well: the fees were reasonable, the staff was very easy to work with, and my laptop is working perfectly since I got it back. Wireless Planet then replaced the screen on my very old Apple Cinema Display from 2010--that's still a thing of beauty and I really wanted to keep it around. Not sure what the store owner name is but he was very rude. All I asked on the phone is how much will it cost to replace my son's iPad mini battery. He was very disinterested in answering. Anyways after he gave me the quote, I asked him if there was any warranty for the battery just in case it stops working in a few weeks. At that point he just hung up the phone on me. It is very rude and arrogant to treat customers like that. The whole conversation didn't last more that two minutes. I have no idea why there are so many good reviews. Good work should be preceded by good attitude and customer service. During the covid times as a customer, I would prefer that store owners show a little patience on the phone in answering questions, so that we don't spend too much time inside the store or at the counter risking an infection. With his attitude, he definitely lost me as a customer which does not make any business sense. As for my kid he got a new iPad. I felt it was important to share the experience so store owners who really value customer service and care about the customers should be getting our business during these difficult times. Customer Beware. If you have a newish Apple product I would seriously consider looking elsewhere for repair options. I took a 2018 iPad Pro in to replace a broken screen (not shattered) and when I got it back the Face ID no longer worked. The Face ID functioned flawlessly before I took it in (even with the screen crack.) I took it back and they tinkered with it for a few days and said there was nothing more they could do. They offered me a small refund (a fraction of the price I paid). I tried to save a few bucks by not taking it to an Apple Authorized Service Provider, something obviously went awry during the installation of the new screen, and now I am stuck with an iPad Pro without functioning Face ID and a lot less money in my pocket. If you have an iPhone 8 or below or an older iPad you should be fine. The workers are nice and courteous, and you can't beat the location if you live in North Redondo. However, if you have any Apple product with Face ID or other advanced tech, I would suggest you take it directly to Apple or at the very least an Apple Authorized Service Provider (which I believe Wireless Planet 310 is not.) The technology on these new Apple devices has seemingly gotten to the point where small operations like Wireless Planet 310 can no longer be guaranteed to fix one thing and not break another, nor can they be trusted to make it right if something does go wrong. Don't be foolish like me: Pay a little more once instead of having to pay a lot twice. read more

Great place to get your screens fixed for a reasonable price! This morning I woke up to my iPhone 6, tragically on the floor and when I went to pick it up the screen had cracked. I went searching online for the best deal closest to me and found this place pop up with a website to make an online appointment! They had plenty of times available to go so I picked 5:30pm but later changed it to 5:00pm which was really easy to do through the website! When I went in, I was greeted with a friendly welcome and was offered 2 options: $39.95 for after market screen replacement or $69.95 for the iPhone screen replacement. Chris, one of the technicians, explained to me the difference and I ended up opting for the more expensive one based off his recommendation and from research I had done regarding both screen types. I came about 4:45pm and told them I would wait in my car and they said it would probably take 30 minutes to fix. Right on the dot, Sarah had come out to let me know my phone was ready to take home! Overall really great experience with friendly customer service and a cute dog to greet me :) would definitely go back again if I needed something repaired! read more

It deserves as many stars as I can give plus all that have been inexplicably awarded to the Apple store in MB. i damaged the power input port on my iPad Pro. After a long wait on the phone and an even longer one at the Apple store, the "genius" examined it and did his best to remove the tiny metal fragment, but finally told us that because of the iPad's integral design, the only way to fix the port was in essence to replace the entire logic assembly at a cost of over $500 With the confidence of someone who has nothing to lose, I ignored Apple's warning against non-anointed repairers and went to the nearest shop, Wireless Planet. They fixed it in less time than we'd spent trying to get access to the Apple store "genius," and did it for significantly less than $100! Fast, skillful, and reasonably priced - based on my experience, you couldn't do better than Wireless Planet. read more

Did you crack your iPhone screen recently? This is a great, friendly place to take it. The thing I love about Wireless Planet is their honesty. I brought my son's iPad here because the home button wasn't working. They were very good about telling me that they could fix it, but that the screen might crack while they were trying to fix it, so the repair may cost more if that happened because it would need to be replaced. I really appreciated knowing the details so that we could decide what to do. In the end all was good, just the home button was fixed and we are off and running again. He's very attentive and answers all your questions. However, recently I had an issue with my Mac and brought it in for service. 2pm, Saturday, Labor Day weekend, I shattered the screen on my brand new iphone7. Jumped in the car and went straight to wireless planet, after being referred to them years ago by the at & t store. As I was walking in, an employee was walking out the door and informed me they were closing up for the weekend. However, David asked what I needed and when I told him I needed a new screen, he took the phone and said come back in twenty minutes. He did a great job, fast and could not have been more accommodating. As mentioned in a prior review, he went out of his way to help in an emergency, even when he was trying to start his own holiday weekend. Only thing that disappointed me was the website says screen replacement is $109 and he informed that a new screen is actually $129, which is the same cost as the Apple Store. We have now used Wireless Planet twice - once to replace a dead hard drive and once to fix an iPhone. The iPhone was pronounced dead at the Apple Store, but we thought we'd take a chance on repair, knowing that Apple would rather not open up their devices. I'm so glad we did! Wireless Planet gave us a free estimate, found that all it took was replacing a few components and fixed it - for $100 (way less than a new phone!) and in only a couple days. read more

I went into Wireless Planet to drop off a couple hard drives for data recovery and before they would even speak to me, they offered me a mask and I declined. It literally would have taken one minute to drop off the drives, but he wouldn't let me without a mask. The funny thing is as I was walking in, one of the workers had his mask down and put it up quickly as I walked in... hmmmm. Here we are after two and a half years since covid started and this business is not letting you choose, but forces you to put on a mask.
