It's clearly a popular spot, and for good reason. The quality of the meats stood out, especially the ribeye, which was flavorful and well-marbled. I also appreciated how many appetizers you could order. The honey walnut prawns were easily a 10/10. The self-serve drink fridge was a nice touch too, with sodas, juices, milk teas, and other options. The private karaoke room made it such a fun spot for a birthday. Zero stars all around, and I have given them a chance to reach themselves. The only winter Tavern is the buck or Tavern in winners California a legendary place. I just lucky enough to be taken to as a child by my father and my mother. Here's the context Slipped and fell and got my third concussion back in November. My credit card was stolen. I will remind you, however that I wish my relationship with Yelp to be the best possible. I appreciate them support. I respect them. Here's the context. The stolen credit card in the vault that is not returned at the winners. Tavern is contextually fraud Steve and it's fraud and at least other things, that federal punishment. said do not support this establishment as it's just so sad. They show the true colors. On the sidewalk it's not up to the rain when you're exercising and sober and then being blamed for being drunk getting your credit cards stolen and still hasn't returned being charged $500 in fees, yup if you need to take this down, I totally understand but this is as important and winner. Tavern is a dangerous place to be. To the youth please don't be the dangerous place to the elderly please this place is dangerously slippery, obviously and on and on and on. The owner is just a preposterous person. Tried to be friends. Bottom line is Yelp. This is a loaded review and if you need to take it down, that's OK but I'm just spreading the true information of toxicity. Let's love to yell my love to my family. A true diamond in the rough!!! This local "dive bar" is far from that. With great prices and free live music, this is a must stop on any Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Most importantly, the bartender (Ryan) on Friday and Saturdays is the greatest!!!! Talk about the greatest shots known to man or woman and funny too. As busy as he gets, he still finds time to make a woman flying solo for the night comfortable by herself. I will continue to frequent this place just because of him. read more

If you're looking for a venue with soul, personality, and a healthy dose of weird -- The Knockout is it. The Scene: This place screams underground SF in the best way. The walls are plastered with stickers from hundreds of bands, artists, and regulars that have come through -- it's like a living punk flyer wall. Dim neon lighting and vintage touches give it a divey charm, but not in a try-hard way. The Virgin Mary painting above the bar and eclectic photo strips tucked in every corner add a little extra mystique to the already vibrant decor. The Music: Star Belly Bug was killer -- great sound for a small venue, and the energy was contagious. The stage is super intimate, so you're right up close with the band, no matter where you're standing. The Knockout clearly supports local and underground talent, and it shows in the diverse lineup and passionate crowd. The Bar: Drinks were strong and reasonably priced (especially for SF), and the bartenders were cool and efficient even when things got packed. There's a solid cocktail list on the board, but also plenty of cheap beer and no-nonsense options. Vibe: Inclusive, weird in the best way, and 100% authentic. This is the kind of place where you can dance, lose yourself in the music, and just enjoy being part of the scene. Zero pretension. Lots of regulars. Great people-watching.
