Recommend coming during happy hour as it is $10 less than dinner. However, there are some dinner only items which you'd miss out on. There are many options such as beef, pork, lamb, seafood, variety of vegetables, noodles, broths, and appetizers

I'm already thinking about the next time we go back and I don't even live in the area Our friends brought us here for the first time, they mentioned they love this place and after trying it we understand! We were able to go just in time for their happy hour after 9pm. We got 4 different broths, sides, beef, tofu and veggies! The portions are VERY generous so if you're a couple, choose wisely cause it's A LOT. Love that the rice is unlimited and you serve it yourself as well as sauces, drinks and dessert. I wish I had the room to eat more but I just couldn't do it anymore, sadly. I've been to hot pot before a few times and I feel like this one was so easy to follow and order compared to other places. Can't wait to come back some day!

If you're craving hot pot, this is a spot that will bring you back to basics and fill you up! Located in a strip mall in Pacifica, there's plenty of parking and shops/Safeway in the same plaza. We went for lunch on Veteran's Day (which happens to be my aunt's birthday) close to opening time, and there was no wait. You order what you want by marking the paper, and the food comes out quick. Its family style, and you share 1 big pot at your table with up to 2 flavors. Because we came with a group of 4 and it was my aunt's birthday, she got to eat free! They have a solid selection of vegetables, meats, seafoods, and some ready-cooked appetizers. Dome more-expensive seafood/meat items are only available during dinner. They also have a drink fridge for you to have a soda/tea while dining! Overall, a very solid spot to fulfill that craving!

The meat was good , I love the Beef Belly and shrimps. There were many choices and everything was fresh and delicious. The noodles were not soggy and it maintained its bite even though we overcooked it. The beverages are so good, lots of choices and they have my favorite Coca Cola. They had 4 different flavors of ice cream for dessert. The service was slow we were in a Karaoke room and they did not check us for our orders. We really had to call the servers for attention. The Karaoke selection were limited and they did not have a lot of Pilipino Songs.

this was round one of what we were eating we did two more rounds after that half portion of the meat cause we didn't wanna waste anything

all you can eat hot pot and they really don't regulate on the hour like that at least not me. I've been going there for a while now since 2019 ish Also on top of that they have karaoke the machines are little hard to work out but as soon as you do that's where the fun start I like to do half portions of meat because they do like to stack it up. My favorite is the soup dumplings. It's included on the menu on top of that. They have free drinks in the fridge, but they're self serve If you're looking for a good Chinese karaoke spot I would definitely recommend the song selection is pretty good but I only like Jay Chou and a few selected other they also have a sauce station as well price wise it's pretty good but the karaoke is a little bit on the heftier side but if you like karaoke just go early and you're gonna have so much fun and did I say to karaoke room are private They have a little ice cream cart as well for flavors mango Matcha black sesame vanilla I wanna say do not quote me on this. That's what I remember from last time. They also have a button in the room so you can call your server without leaving.

The service here is a hit or miss but we keep coming back because my family really likes this place. The menu is not super big but it's not small either. There's a good variety. The all you can drink adds a nice touch to the meal. If you show your ID on your exact birthday, you get a free meal!

This is my family's and I favorite hotpot place. We've been going here for a couple of years now and the service and food has been consistently amazing. My favorite thing about this restaurant is the wide selection of sauces you can combine, the fruit section, and the ice cream section. We usually get the house original, house spicy, or house satay. They're all pretty good and not too salty. One thing we never not get is the walnut shrimp! Every time we've been here it's a MUST for us. Not too much batter, crispy, good amount of sauce and walnuts too! It usually gets really busy starting at 7 pm, especially on the weekends so be prepared to wait.

Did AYCE hotpot and karaoke with a big group in the VIP room and it ended up around $57 per person plus tip & tax. Incredible fun experience and love that there were so many options of side dishes on top of the meat and seafood options. They included alcohol as well (sake, beer, wine) so this price seems like a total steal!! Because we were the last group of the night they even gave us an extra hour of karaoke which was super nice! The service was really quick and though they did forget some things we ordered it wasn't a big deal and they brought it right away when we mentioned it! Definitely will be back.

It's been too long sInce I've been back here. The quality seems to have improved since the last time I was here. I ordered frog legs too and they were even better than I remembered. We use the house soup for heating the meat and vegetables. The portions also seemed to have improved too. I find restaurants that stay in business tend to either get lose their focus and cut costs and skimp over time or they improve and innovate over time, in this case this hot pot restaurant improved and has gotten a very loyal following. Not bad for a restaurant when you heat your own meal.

Amazing- we were able to reserve an ULTRA last minute New Year's eve dinner for a group of 25 people on the day of here at Grand Hotpot! Spoke with Ava and she assured me a private room with karaoke and AYCE HOTPOT! Everything was delicious and beverages and sauce stations and rice were all self serving but that is such a treat to be able to drink as much canned beverages included with the AYCE. Their karaoke song options were dismal but we were mainly there to celebrate a birthday and chow down on the last dinner of the year so of course - it was literally A GRAND TIME AT GRAND HOTPOT! Worth the drive especially with a large group :)

My boyfriend and I like to go here around 9-10pm when we're hungry and want the happy hour price. I like that you're able to serve yourself the rice, drinks (you can keep coming back for the sodas and juices), and ice cream. We always get seated right away and the workers are always attentive once we finish filling out the paper menu. I like that you're able to get two broths and the meat options aren't too bad. I just wish they had more vegetable options such as enoki mushrooms, baby corn, etc but I can't complain since the price is worth it. If you're craving hot pot late night with friends, I suggest you try this place out! I will definitely be coming back some time next month or so.

I really enjoy AYCE Hot Pot so Grand Hot Pot was not a disappointment by any means. From the extensive menu selections, 2 soup choices for the same price, all you can drink beverages (selected beverages), Hot cooked appetizers from the kitchen and of course the meat proteins and veggies. So much to choose from!! Also for us seniors out there you save $2.00 over the regular price. We came early on a rainy day so there was plenty of open tables. Small 4 person tables to the largest 12 person table. Clean and spacious but quickly became fully packed once dinner time was fully underway. You can fill out the menu selections or ask the waiter to take your selections (which was easier) but make sure to read the menu. There's a lot of info / choices and options in there. All the food was fresh and great portions. We were stuffed to the gills when we left. Assorted meat selections. Prime beef and Pork Belly were my favorites. They also have some limited specials like Abalone and Sashimi which were excellent. With a selection of veggies rounded out our dinner. Oh we had ice cream as well The free drinks included all kinds of canned drinks, milk teas, sodas and sake and Sapporo beer! A decent and not overly done dipping sauce bar with anything you could ask for. Will definitely have to come back again

Food 4/5 Remember to come during Happy Hour 12-4pm for an unbeatable price of $26 pp. There is a variety of appetizers, broths, meat, and vegetables to choose from. They also have an unlimited beverage section with soy milk, grass jelly, and soda that you wouldn't normally find at other hotpot prices. The meat quality here is not the best but for $26, I think it's worth it if you're just looking to get your hotpot craving satisfied. *make sure you ask for 1 serving for two if you plan to have a variety. The servings here are very very generous. Service 4.5/5 There's less crowd here compared to other hot pot places so it is easier to flag down waiters. Ambiance 5/5 A very spacious restaurant and you won't feel cramp with people next to you. Plenty of space on the table for your food and drinks. Suitable for all party sizes!

Do yall hot pot for vegetarians ? What are the options and items that yall offer N price pls

Their options and items are shown in the yelp photos menu Price were 35.99$ per person at night

Free AYCE on your birthday?

Yes, but you need to show your ID, and eat with a table of 4+ people.

Do they charge a 9 month old infant? If yes, how much? I saw a one star review saying they charge $12.50 per toddler under 2

No charge for infants!

Do they serve alcohol?

Yes, at least I know they have beer and sake.

Is there a minimum charge for the karaoke room?

I think there is an additional $5 per person? on top of the price.

If I come in at 10:30 - 10:45pm will they still allow us to dine in? I'm trying to see late night hotpot places. We're arriving SFO at 9:45pm from a domestic flight. I don't want to arrive at your place and be disappointed.

You might want to call them to confirm the time for last seating as it only has little over one hour of dinning time.

Do you still eat for free on the actual day of your birthday if you have 4 or more people?

Yes! (as of 03/01/2024).

Is there a charge for a child under 2 years old?

No, my boy went there at 3 and they didn't charge him.

Do I have to make reservations for a birthday?

If you are booking one of the karaoke rooms you should definitely call and make a reservation.

How long do you have the karaoke room for (vip room)? I remember it was 3 hours when I went last but it says 90 minutes on the recent photos. Is the 90 minutes only for food/ drinks but you still have the full 3 hours for karaoke?

Yes...90 minutes for food and 3 hrs for karaoke...but start at the same time.

What hotpot soup base do you list recommend? Is it possible to get small taste of them in order to make a decision? And does the whole table have to share the same one?

I don't think they will let you taste (too hectic), but I've never thought of asking. I like the mushroom one because it's plain, so that you can taste the meats. They have a bunch that's spicy, which I don't eat. It depends on the size of your… Read more

Do we need to make a reservation?

If you plan on getting a private room, I would recommend you make a reservation.

For birthday lunch, how many guests I need to bring with me to qualify a free lunch?

There should be 4 in your group to qualify :)

Do the Karaoke rooms have a good collection of English songs?

Yes

Is there broth choices and options for vegans here, one of my friends is one and was curious if it was worth it for him?

Do we get individual pots of liquid at the table or are these communal pots to dip your meat in per table? Post Covid this sounds a bit strange?

There are several (3?) places to put pots on the table. Each pot can be a 50/50 pot. So the answer is communal, but limited - seating for 10 and at most 6 different bases.… Read more

Do you allow pets?

No. It's all indoor dining.

Where do you get your yummy ice cream from?

Whose their supplier or ?? There's a self serve freezer as you walk in on the right, you scoop your own.

Do they accept reservations if it's for 5 people lunch?

Yes

Is outdoor dining available again?

no there is not, but you can rent the room for extra $5.00 per person. I think if you have a large party. We had 12ppl.

Location: located in Daly City and next door to a Seafood City (the Filipino HMart). The strip mall-esque location is unassuming in a residential alcove, but perhaps that's why it's a hidden gem. When: we chose to dine in right as the doors opened at 11:30AM, I believe we arrived right after 11:40AM to a nearly empty restaurant. While the restaurant did fill up after 12PM for the lunch rush - service and offerings were very ample. The Welcome: a blend of glass, black furnishings along with Chinese tea decorations; the restaurant itself, while not vast - one can be seated at a table or at a booth with shared/individual pots, in addition to shared barbecue plate. Service: one of the draws for my friend (multiple visits), and myself as 1st timer; service was not only consistent, frequent, but also friendly. 10 minute increments with up to 9 items delivered by a robot and then placed onto our table by hand, broths and beverages refilled, and waiters checking on tables if anything is needed; showed a deep level of attentiveness and caring-ness. The food: while a table cannot do both barbecue and hot pot at the same time - hot pot can be enjoyed from a shared pot, a non-shared individual pot and something I have never seen (non-shared individual split half and half pots). My party & I: - non-shared individual split half and half: tomato/sukiyaki , I don't remember the other two pots, but that we each enjoyed our pots. - Just to name a few: Wagyu, pork belly, lobster balls, seafood platter, lamb, multiple cuts of beef, chicken wings, beef tripe & tendon, enoki mushrooms, fried bao with condensed milk, grilled sticky rice with brown sugar, etc. I cannot name all of what was ordered, but know that we left extremely full. Final Thoughts: $30.99 pre-tax for 1 (weekend pricing) is a steal for all you can eat in the Bay Area, and is an amazing deal for quality food and excellent service.

The floors are extremely slippery!! Under my table, in the hallway, in the middle of the…read morerestaurant, and in the restroom. Everywhere was slippery. Pros: the Tom yum and tomato broth were both delicious and full of flavor, especially when it reduced. Someone in my group said their fries were some of the best they've had. They were crispy yet soft, hot, and moist in the center. The Chinese fried donut was also a big hit. The sauce bar selection is large and well stocked. There is also a self serve veggies, tofu, and noodle section. Cons: the quality of the beef belly and wagyu were both severely lacking. Every order comes with 2 pieces, so we had to place over 10 orders to have a reasonable amount for one round of meat. The lamb and pork belly were both a lot better.

It wasn't until I traveled around to some other cities and other bars that I came to realize just how good we have it. A great karaoke experience is all about having a large library to work from and having a KJ who knows how to manage a queue. The latter is arguably the most important thing. Nobody runs a queue quite like Dan: he makes sure newcomers get worked in before people who have already gone once get to their second song...to a point. He also makes sure people who have gone once don't just get pushed down the queue forever as people filter in. WildStyle is also amazing for hosting your private or semiprivate events- my 50th Birthday party was a tremendous success and a memory I'll always cherish thanks in large part to all the effort and help provided by Dan. One of my attendees remarked that it was the best karaoke party he'd ever attended (and he'd been to a lot of them). Find out where WildStyle is hosting and check out a show! And if you have a birthday or other event coming up, I recommend WildStyle in the strongest possible terms. Rates are more than reasonable, and you and your guests will have an amazing time.
