    Palata with chicken curry

Skip the buffet, order from the Burmese menu!!! There's no wait and more authentic (and tastier) than B-Superstar 1. Palata with chicken curry: crispy roti with the curry side. Highly indulgent 2. Shan noodle: rice noodles with pickled veggies & seasoned chicken. Served warm, yet refreshing (not too oily)

Great Burmese Chinese food. Not authentic but okay Myanmar noodles dishes. Would I go back again, no I wouldn't. Just like you want to try and just say ok type.

Best Burmese noodle soup and garlic noodle. Samosa the crispy potato fillings is really good.

    come for their Burmese food!

This review is strictly on their Burmese food only, not their Chinese buffet. Came here on a lazy Sunday after our Burmese friend highly recommended this place and hyped up their kyae oae, garlic noodles, and fried shrimp appetizer. Y and I were stoked! Service was great, prices are reasonable, and all of our food came out looking very appetizing...and the flavors...they were pretty dead on, especially with the little pieces of fried garlic. My favorite was their chicken garlic noodle. That is...up until the MSG kicked in. OMG, talk about MSG overload! Growing up with Asian food all my life, MSG lives in my blood, I thought I was immune to it, but even I couldn't handle it. The throat started closing up, my body was feeling tight and tingly, and the headache kicked in. I was a complete mess! Needless to say, that just ruined the entire food experience. I think I need some time to recover before walking into this place again. If/when I do come back; I will tell them...absolutely NO MSG!

This place has been at this shopping center for as long as I can remember. Grant it, I have never stopped by until just this past week for the first time. I have always gone to Sam's Chinese Kitchen when I am at this plaza but I felt that I needed to expand my options and check this place out. I initially noticed that they offer buffet style lunch which is GREAT! The cost for the buffet is $8.95 which is not bad at all. In looking over the options that you have for lunch you can somewhat see why the cost is what it is!!! You have your usual options that consists of the following: orange chicken, egg rolls, beef with broccoli, chow mein, etc. The portions get replenished when the get low which is nice but the freshness may be a bit questionable! My food was cool which I am happy about. I got a two item combo lunch box to go. The food seemed a bit over seasoned and a bit saltier than other Chinese food establishments that I have been to but I made it work. If you can look past some of these shortcomings here then this place may be a WINNER for you. But, if you prefer something that is a bit more tolerable I would suggest looking for Chinese restaurants in San Francisco, in my opinion. #GiveItATry

This restaurant is right off the Skykine blvd and the starting point of entering Pacifica where if you keep going you will hit the ocean and be one with the sunset. This appears to be popular with the locals as we saw many people came in to order takeout. The owner and waiters were nice and checked on us with our meals. We ordered four dishes the beef chow fun had good flavor and texture. The Maylaysian Curry was Cooked with chicken, beef BBQ pork, and prawns along with onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and carrots and had great flavor we enjoyed. It goes great over white rice. Salt & Pepper Pork Chop was Crispy pork chop tossed in garlic and jalapeno was great texture and crispiness but wish it had more flavor to it but overall a solid dish. And k always enjoy a good Eggplant in Spicy Garlic Sauce that was Eggplant sauteed with mushrooms and onions in a spicy garlic sauce was good as well. I hope to come back again to try other dishes. All the diners seem to be having a good time. This is a solid restaurant to come eat here. For our food, we ordered the spicy wontons, the pan fried soup dumplings, the pork and tofu in golden soup, beef noodle soup, green onion pancake, and some pork dumplings. They provide chili oil, soy sauce, and vinegar at the table for you. Everything tasted fine, but I thought the noodles used in the beef soup were a bit on the bland side - it didn't really soak up the flavor of the broth. The pan fried dumplings were my favorite dish - they also provide these giant whimsical soup spoons that you can use to eat these - there really wasn't any soup inside that spilled out when you bit into it, but the ratio to bread and meat was good and tasted nice with the vinegar and soy sauce drizzled on top.

After Covid, almost NO customers, and quite frankly I've wondered how they've lasted this long. Today, I placed my order, over the phone, and I should have sensed something then. The owner, IN ALL FAIRNESS, has been kind, decent, and pleasant. Hell, I remember us talking about his mom before she passed. But, today, he was so agitated. Walked in. And as I have done everytime, "Hey! How's it going?" An incoherent statement that I could not make out. Sorry. Excuse me. "I don't want to be here." Ummmmm, like on earth, or just at work. AND THE ANGRY DIATRIBE STARTED!!!!! He began to tell me about the exorbitant cost of his property tax, water, and PG&E, which is CRAZY!!!! I offer, "Maybe downsize to a smaller building." In a huff, "I own the building." Then I said, "Well shit is high because of the idiot in the white house." Then I said, "Ohhhhhh you're a trumper!" Ooooooooo WHY DID I SAY THAT He got all in his feels (as they all do), trying to say that is not why. Hmmm. Oh really???? The larger tables also have lazy susans which makes sharing dishes easy and fun, especially when you come with family. The service was fantastic. They made helpful suggestions and also made sure we did not over order, which I appreciated. You can tell they want you to enjoy the meal, not just spend more money. The food overall was really good. I normally do not like hot and sour soup but they nailed it here. It was perfectly balanced and loaded with ingredients like tofu and mushrooms, super delicious and comforting. The fried rice was great and the Mongolian beef was done just right. A lot of places overload that dish with onions and green onions but this one was balanced perfectly. The sweet and sour pork was just ok for me, not bad but not my favorite dish of the meal. Even with that, I was still very happy with everything we ordered. I left feeling satisfied and taken care of. This spot delivers both on food and service, and it is the kind of place I would come back to when I want a relaxed sit down Chinese meal done right.

It's AYCE and located near the beach by a little shopping area in Pacifica. Beautiful area. The hosts greeted us with their great smile and sat us down right away. We chose the BBQ pot (half bbq to grill your meats and soup like shabu). I had the coconut pork bone soup and my hubby had the mushroom soup. Both were very tasty and the spice was spot on. They had a variety of meat choices and yes prime beef ribeye! You can either grill it or drop it on your soup. You can also create your condiments to dip your grilled meats. The rib eye, beef belly, pork belly were my favorites. You can tell the meats were of high quality and were fresh. You only need to grill the rib eye medium rare and wow it's amazingly delicious!!! Also they have a wide variety of appetizer, vegetable, seafood, tofu, I can go on! The Kalbi ribs as one of the appetizer was one of the best Kalbi I ever had. The marinate was sooo yummy and the meat was tender! The service was also amazing! They checked on us constantly and our orders came so quickly, it was unbelievable. Yes we were stuffed and happy! The green tea ice cream at the end cleansed our palette and it was a great dessert to end the meal. Afterwards we walked a few steps and the view of the beach was mesmerizing! This place is one of the best grilled and shabu place I have ever been. Wish we had one like this in SF, but the scenic drive to Pacifica is worth coming here. The food came out quickly for us to cook. I really enjoyed the New Zealand Lamb and all the vegetables. I wasn't a big fan of the sauces that we were able to customize at the sauce station since they were just normal Asian sauces. Overall a great place to come for AYCE. The price was also reasonable - $41.99 per person for 90 minutes. There is free parking available since it's located in a plaza. Our family had a great time which is all that matters.

Once they started calling tables, it moved really fast. When we were seated, we ended up sharing a table with two other groups of two. I actually didn't mind it at all because there was still enough space between everyone to have privacy. It also made the experience feel more social -- I ended up chatting with the people to my right and left about the food. Everything we ordered was really good. Their popular dry fried chicken absolutely lived up to the hype and was probably my favorite thing on the menu... besides the cherry pork. I feel like nobody talks about the cherry pork enough! It was SO good -- kind of like a sweet-and-sour pork without the sour. I dipped it in soy sauce because I loved the sweet and salty combo together. The dumplings were also really good. The wrapper was thin and delicious, but my boyfriend said he wished they had a little more protein filling and less leek. The green beans are always a hit. The only thing I probably wouldn't order again was the black bean sauce noodles. Maybe I just expected a different flavor, but to me they honestly tasted like regular lo mein. I'm also not a huge noodle person in general, so I'd probably skip them next time and order something else instead. Forgot to mention their prices are on point! Definitely recommend to any of the tourists. I think the weight is definitely worth it and I love being able to take home my leftovers and eating them for lunch and dinner the next day.
