My Friend And I Have Dinner At Majikku Ramen Today Thursday July 10,2025. As We Walk In The Restaurant Have Waited And Told Us To Choose A Table So Once Seated Have Given Us The Menu. As We Decided To Order A Bento Box And Waited For 15 to 20 Minutes Before Our Food Was Served But To My Surprised Everything Was Good And Savory. Service Was Super As Everytime My Hot Tea Reach The Bottom Of The Cup The Server Came To Fill Them Back As She Came Twice. The Location And Ambiance Of The Restaurant Was Perfectly Amazing.

Came here on a Sunday for lunch. Was seated right away. Place was half full of patrons enjoying their food. Servers were nice and courteous. Place was clean but bathrooms were outside of the restaurant in the mall. Ramen was served hot and the broth was tasty. Don't recall the names of the ramen bowls that we ordered. Very decent place for lunch. The chicken Kara age was fried to perfection as the chicken was juicy and tender on the inside while it was crunchy on the outside. Volcano roll was served warm, creamy and delicious.

Came here for to go order. Ordered 3 items bento box for lunch. It costs $23.95 price really went up for lunch. Salmon teriyaki was small. Tempura was so so not too crispy also only one shrimp. Pork Katsu was only good. After all portion was big enough for me.

We met a friend for lunch here on Sunday. Tons of choices on their menu: salads, ramen, udon, yakisoba, okonomiyaki, sashimi, bento boxes, curry, some sushi, tempura...etc. Dining area was fairly spacious and brightly lit. It seems they can accommodate large families of 6 without a problem. I ordered the black garlic ramen, BF ordered a bento box with beef teriyaki and 3 pc sashimi and our friend had a bento box with beef teriyaki and mackerel. Black garlic ramen - this was decent but not perfect. The egg was a bit overcooked so no jammy middle. Noodle texture was ok, but I prefer a chewier texture when noodles are blanched. This was slightly overcooked where noodles are soft. They do give a lot of toppings like bamboo shoots, black fungus, a few roasted garlic cloves and 2-3 pieces of pork. Black garlic flavor was good. The pork was pretty good too. If the noodles were chewier and with good texture, I would have rated it higher because the main star of this dish is the ramen. 3.5/5 Bento boxes - beef was more cooked than they would have liked. Sashimi sliced so thin. 3 slices which could have been 1 piece at another restaurant. Mackerel was ok. 3/5 The restaurant was bustling even after 2 pm. I think it's because they have a lot of choices on their menu that it can appease even picky eaters. Though we felt a few things were overcooked or they skimped. Sometimes when restaurants have an extensive menu, they lack focus and they don't perfect each dish. So it ends up there's a variety on the menu but mediocre results. Hopefully they take these reviews to heart to help bring in better ratings for the future.

I came here the other day on my lunch before I did my grocery shopping at Ranch 99. I've always noticed this place when I walked by, but was a bit hesitant because I never see this place packed with patrons. However, I went ahead and gave this place a go because I was craving some tempura and teriyaki beef. I ordered their two item Bento box and it came with a free item and I chose the potato croquette. Two item bento is $18.95 + $2 more for the beef. Upon seating, you are given water or tea and then a small bowl of pickled cabbage and carrots. I really enjoyed the sweetness and the tangy taste of rice vinegar. The croquette was fried to a golden brown, Tempura had a light batter that wasn't too heavy. Beef was tender and not over cooked. The servers were very attentive and topped off my tea often. I would recommend this place if you are ever in the area!

I came here with my mom and we were quickly seated and our orders were taken. Overall, the food was very flavorful and the curry was a bit spicy. The place had a very calm and peaceful setting with not to many people.

Sure, there are better ramen options, but nothing beats a bowl of black garlic ramen after shopping at the 99 Ranch Supermarket because I'm too tired to cook afterwards! For a strip mall joint, I believe it's decent. The food comes quick and the service is great. My offspring really likes the bento boxes too.

First time here since they opened 16 years ago. Their ramen was pretty solid. All the right flavors were there. A little sad to see that we were the only table at 7:30pm on a rainy Sunday. I'd go again.

This Ramen Restaurant is located in the Skyline Shopping Center. They share the parking lot with 99 Ranch Supermaket, Sheng Kee Bakery, East West Bank, Truedan, Doughnut shop, Liquor store, Dim Sum King, Porridge King, and some other businesses. There's plenty of parking on weekdays. However, it's a challenge to find parking on weekends. I called in and ordered three ramen to go. I ordered the chicken, seafood, and black garlic ramen. They were ready in 20 minutes. The chicken ramen was the least favor out of the three ramen that I ordered. The chicken was overcooked. It was rubbery and hard to chew. The broth was kind of salty. The seafood ramen was ok. They gave a good amount of seafood and the broth was bland. The black garlic ramen was the most flavorful ramen. It was very garlicky and can also taste the sasame oil. I definitely had better ramen elsewhere. However, I do appreciate them packing the three ramen carefully. The broth and the ramen with toppings were packed in different containers and they didn't spill.

I always love salmon, toro and tuna nigiri- but other highlights were the red snapper (they add yuzu) and the seared walu. The nigiri is simple and lacks complexity, but the fish is fresh and delicious! It's also smaller than nigiri usually is but I mean, still a steal! We also tried both the happy hour rolls - Lion King and Mom's Right and both were great. Lion King is perfect if you want a cooked salmon roll with a little show but my favorite two was Mom's Right. They have very friendly and attentive staff. We normally get the Dream Gina roll, the 49er roll, the spider roll, and the Albacore Tuna Sashimi, When I say everything is delicious here- I mean everything is delicious- from the miso soup, to the edamame, to their house dressing on a salad. Parking is convenient because there's a free parking lot next-door and then you could always go to the movies ( Century 21) shortly after dinner. We've been to so many places for sushi that have been overpriced in the city and this one is still our favorite. Thanks guys. We appreciate you.

Ordered the combination plate with sashimi, tempura and beef teriyaki. The sashimi was pleasantly a thick piece of salmon, which I was satisfied with. The tempura was ok, seems like just the tempura you can air fry from the frozen section at Costco, not a lot of batter, a little limp. The beef teriyaki was served room temperature, which was also a bit disappointing. Flavor was good but nothing special really. We also ordered the 10 piece mixed nigiri plate, which was just okay at best. The pieces of fish were descent. Overall, this place is just okay. It is pretty convenient if you're going to the movies after, but there's definitely better.

Two dishes in particular were especially unenjoyable. The ramen was not to our taste at all, and the calamari was very underwhelming, the batter had little to no flavor. We eat at Japanese restaurants often, so this wasn't a matter of being unfamiliar with the cuisine. When we politely asked the server if one of the dishes could be taken back, we were told that this "has never happened before" and that we simply weren't used to Japanese-style ramen. The response felt dismissive and somewhat defensive, rather than helpful. There was no effort to address the issue, offer an alternative, or show any concern that we didn't enjoy the meal. Instead, it felt like we were just expected to pay for everything regardless of our experience. We chose not to make a scene and paid the full bill, but the lack of customer care left a lasting negative impression. Good service means listening to customers and handling feedback with professionalism, something that was missing here. I hope they take feedback more seriously in the future. I won't be back. There are far to many great Japanese restaurants in the city.
