Oh baby box is better than the de luxe Chirashi. The rice was too sour for me. Service is great . Not crowded today. Quiet and relaxing.

I have been wanting to try this place ever since it took over Tani's spot. There are things I really missed from Tani's but the "new" replacement is lovely addition to our neighborhood too. It is still a tiny shop. This place only has sushi on the menu. It is the perfect spot to grab a deluxe lunch on the rare glorious September-in-March/April weather here in Daly City. Price is definitely on the expensive side. But I guess it also reflects the changes here in Daly City too. Tani used to be the only Japanese restaurant in the Westlake shopping center and now we have 3 Japanese restaurants including Tiny Sushi! I ordered the famous Sushi Box. My biggest surprise is not the quality of the fish (frankly I expect to be good when I am paying this much), but I was impressed by the sushi rice and the seaweed!! I really like how they seasoned the sushi rice here. Oh, and they don't use the typical yaki nori, but I was served with seaweed sheet that is similar to Gamtae (the Korean seaweed that has a moss-like texture). Only my pre-diabetics body made me stop from finishing the whole Sushi Box all by myself. It's so delicious and satisfying. The Baby sushi Box is definitely meant to be shared :) If you are Daly City residents who have a strong craving for some decent quality sushi/specialty's rolls but don't want to drive into the city, this place is definitely worth a visit. Come here on a weekday for the first seating if you don't want to wait!!

No wait on a random weekday afternoon at lunch time. Be warned that this is a small place. There are 3 tables that can fit a party of two and then about 4 counter seats. Parking is inside Westlake shopping center, this restaurants opening faces the street. We really ordered with our eyes and we were so full! We started off with crispy fish tacos , really yummy seaweed cracker that holds the fish. My partner had the deluxe chirashi and I had the Oh baby box! It was good value for the money and they do include a lot of sushi rice. The fish is super fresh and they do not skimp on the cuts! We were both so full we had to take leftovers home! They packed up it nicely for us. Such a treat, thank you!

Tiny Sushi - Oh Baby is an absolute 5-star gem in Daly City. It's a super tiny spot, so expect a wait during typical meal times, but it is 100% worth however long you're standing in line. The must-order here is the deluxe chirashi bowl: an absolutely stunning presentation of super fresh sashimi piled generously over a bed of fluffy sushi rice. The portion is easily shareable for two and somehow tastes even better than it looks. The Double Toro roll is another standout if you like both salmon and tuna, as it comes with toro from each, with mango adding just a touch of sweetness and fresh wasabi bringing a savory punch that ties all the flavors together beautifully. The staff are all super friendly and welcoming, and they even brought us a few small bites at the end of the meal (maybe because we were the last seating, but no complaints here!). I also noticed other tables ordering the Oh Baby Box and the omakase, both of which looked delicious and gorgeous, so those are definitely on my list for future visits.

Tried the regular and also deluxe chirashi bowls. The fish is very fresh. The torched fishes in the deluxe bowl were my favorite. The speciality rolls were not bad. Will be back

Like the sign says, this place is indeed TINY, with just a couple of tables and at best, five or six stools along the dining counter. but ya know what? This little place delivers much of the same ambiance as those teeny hole in the wall restaurants we ate in in Japan. More importantly, I loved the sushi here, and the server Jack is definitely personable and look after you. We decided upon the Blue Fin Tuna Nigiri, Baked Baby Scallop Roll and Mango Salmon Roll. All were excellent. PRO TIP: If you like Mango in your sushi, this place has tons of choices. The fish is super fresh and delightful upon the palate, Sushi rice was on point too. Yes, I look forward to coming back here soon.

Tucked away on the side of Westlake Plaza is this hidden gem of a restaurant. The place doesn't seat many people and is quite a tight space. Thankfully it wasn't busy on a Saturday evening, so we were seated quickly. My girl friend and I both ordered the chirashi deluxe. It took quite some time to come out, over 20 minutes. However, the food itself was really delicious. The fish was very fresh and high quality. They had toro, uni, ama-ebi, and much more. This was the first chirashi bowl that actually left me full with some pieces left over. I would definitely come back to this restaurant to try more.

We recently moved to the neighborhood and we were so excited when we found Tiny Sushi and gave them a try on Christmas Eve! The place is cozy and gives off a very personal vibe, it is decorated with love and the staff was very friendly. The food took some time since it was clearly made with love, we got the normal and deluxe chirashi, along with sushi tacos and two sushi rolls. Everything was spectacular. We have had sushi tacos before, but those all tasted and used cheap ingredients, Tiny Sushi used HQ ingredients even just for the appetizer. The sushi rolls were packed with fish and flavor. And the chirashis were well worth the money! Packed with different types of sashimi, rarer fish, and very fresh. Can't wait to come back to try even more off of their impressive menu! We loved this place.

I love it here. That's the review. Jk. But foreal tho, always leaving Tiny Sushi with full bellies and big smiles. My favorite is their chirashi deluxe bowl and their special rolls.

So happy to have been able to snag a to-go order a couple of weeks ago on a Wednesday. I showed up a couple minutes early for my to-go and the waitstaff was so kind and gave me a small bite + miso soup to shake the cold off. The establishment is quaint but the detail to food is both appetizing for the eyes and the tongue. 65$ for bowl I ordered, everything was tasty, fresh and hit the spot. I highly recommend for fish lovers and those who enjoy a quiet but tasty dinner.

The sushi isn't tiny but the interior is! We waited 10 minutes before opening to secure a 4 top and was seated right away. The sushi here is really tasty. Perfectly seasoned rice with fresh fish and quality ingredients. Nothing over seasoned or sauced. The Oh Baby box is a popular order and is perfect for sharing in groups. I had fun making my own hand rolls. The nigiri (amaebi and seared salmon toro) were also a highlight with melt in your mouth cuts of fish.

Arrived early right around opening time, 4:30pm on Saturday. Small restaurant, however i've heard many good things and was excited to try. After we ordered, we were given miso soup and salad and a small tasting of torched hamachi (so good and fresh) ordered the Double toro (tuna) and the deluxe chirashi bowl to share. The double toro was melt in our mouths. Really good! the chirashi bowl had amazing presentation. the rice itself was unlike anything i've had before. It was delicious! we finished everything. the service was great too because plates were constantly removed from our tab upon completion. Very attentive. highly recommend. Pricey, but we decided on date night for a splurge. Would definitely come back!

Bae got us takeout from here a few times on nights I didn't feel like cooking. Love the variety of items in the chirashi box and the inclusion of uni. A bit on the pricier side but you do get what you pay for - freshness, premium fish in the boxes and good portions. The only thing I didn't enjoy so much was the rice - a bit too tart from the lime.

    Chirashi bowl!

The first time I went without a reservation, I was turned away immediately, so this time I made a reservation in advance. The food selection is actually quite diverse. Although the portions are not large, the quality is pretty good. I especially liked the wide variety of sushi options, and if you finish fifteen plates, you get a cute capsule toy prize. I ordered the basic ramen and sushi , and both were quite good. I would give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. The service was good as well. The only downside is that you really need a reservation, otherwise there will basically be no seats available.

Unfortunately, our experience here is enough to deter us from coming back. The fish on the conveyor belt was, at first glance, normal, but when it got to our plates we noticed the textures and flavors were off, indicating the fish was not fresh whatsoever. The staff helping us that day were unsure of what they were serving if we would ask them for clarification on the dishes we were curious on. I ordered hamachi, one of my favorites, and there were still scales on my pieces. I decided to not mention it, as I still had more to order. I also picked up a plate of the salmon belly with monkfish liver on top. The fish was the texture of leather - extremely tough, flavorless, and overall not pleasing. I also picked up a roll with salmon and lemon on top with avocado and roe inside. The lemon sitting on the salmon had been sitting there for quite some time because the lemon was cooking the salmon, leaving a white mark behind. The avocado was so overripe that it was brown and mushy. My friends grabbed some salmon, and noted that the texture was extremely watery. The unagi was also extremely rubbery. We asked to split the check, which they said they could not do. We asked if the salmon belly could maybe be substituted or removed, telling our server that it was not fresh. They just said, "No, we don't do that here," with no explanation. We just wished we had a little more explanation, that's all. (Note: I felt really bad asking this, because normally I just suck it up if I don't like something. If I am dining with someone who asks to remove an item from a bill, the restaurant understands. This did not happen here.) If you decide to go, order directly from the tablet by the table, because the sushi might have a chance of being somewhat fresher. Overall, it just was not a pleasant experience for the extremely steep price. I haven't paid that much for sushi, especially not for sushi that is fresh.

There was a place I had in mind, but the moment I saw the word " ramen" sign, my instant craving was suddenly ramen over anything else. So, listening to the stomach, I walked in. The staff came to us and fortunately, despite most of the seats were filled with customers we got a seat. I already had a menu in mind and browsed through the ramen menu to decide on the tonkotsu ramen, my family members reviewed the menu to also narrow down their choices. We ordered three items in total: ramen, a curry dish with tonkatsu and additional spice level to spicy, and a lunch bento box as option F (if I recall). For the bento it comes with the miso soup, so this arrives first over all of the dishes. Then, in short time differences, the curry arrived first, the ramen next, and then the bento set. The ramen was pretty much exactly what I wanted but catered to my tastes in a way. At most restaurants, the tonkotsu ramen is served with thin noodles. This is actually not my favorite type of ramen noodles; I prefer thicker ones. The ramen here, it was served with thick noodles, so that brought a joy to my face. The broth was mellow and not too rich. I also loved the crispy textures of the bean sprouts balanced well with the chewy noodles. The bento box had a wonderful array of fillings that pleased my relative. They ordered the one with sashimi and beef. I got a chance to try some of the beef and it was very tender and well seasoned. It went great with the rice. The tempura also arrived piping hot and the crunchy shell still crispy as they took a bite. They were pretty full near the end of the meal. My other relative enjoyed the curry too. They have a stronger spice tolerance, so they ordered it with extra spice: the spice version. Turns out this was pretty spicy. The spice was spicy in a good way; I took a bite, and the spicy kick doesn't hit me until after I swallowed it down. They told me that next time they will still add spice but a level lower than the one they ordered. I also got to try their tonkatsu; also nice and crispy! The pork was juicy and tender too. It went super well with the curry. As an ending note, my family and I were in good spirits when the staff served us hot tea instead of water, especially during the winter season. It was a a very thoughtful gesture that made the food experience pleasant.
