Came here to order salt and pepper fish for CNY 2026, it was definitely last minute, but the staff who answered the phone was super courteous and said they were open till 6:30pm. I called another place prior nearby but they said they closed at 5:00pm and when I went there it was 4:30pm, they turned me away and said no more orders because they were too busy. Anyways I will recommend Suily from now on. As this was the first time I felt they were nice and catered to my needs quickly. The staff was professional and friendly. I'm glad I came here, as I waited for my salt and pepper fish I saw others dining happily and the portions are generous and reasonably priced. They are like a hidden gem. Will definitely be back to try out their other dishes.

A staple in Daly City, my family has been ordering food from here since I was young. Very cheap and friendly and they opened up seating again.

Finally got to visit Suily's, came during the week at midafternoon in part because I wanted to avoid the rush when the kitchen gets busy. Restaurant was empty so no waiting, and just a short wait for an order of Dry Beef Chow Fun,To Go , price $12 with tax, it was good but needed a splash of Soy Sauce for my palate, no issue with the noodles, had a generous amount of beef, and sprinkle of sprouts. The young woman that took my order, and payment was pleasant. As for the space it's simple, and with a wall of windows welcoming. I'll happily come back.

I visited Suily's, a staple in Daly City for quit some time. Since I now have the opportunity to experience more of their dishes again I asked if they can make one of my all time favorites, bbq pork in scramble egg over fried rice (a specialty dish that I learned decades ago, the locals go-to spot, Sam's Kitchen in Pacifica)! Mind you, this dish is not on their menu but the server was more than happy to have their chefs make it for me. When he presented the generous dish on the table and I took the first bite, it brought back so many memories. Thank you to the Suily's team for being so kind in making my special requests, an experience I can now continue to indulge that brings back so many memories!

We have been coming to Suily's Cafe for many years and it has remained one of our most reliable spots for good Chinese food at a great value. Simon has always been fantastic and welcoming, and the service overall is friendly and efficient. This is the kind of place that does not try to be trendy or flashy. It focuses on doing the basics right and doing them consistently well. Want great Chinese food come here. The food is always delicious no matter what you order. Everything comes out fast and piping hot, and the portions are generous for the price. The Hong Tao Yee soup is a must. It is an egg flower soup topped with fried wontons and it is pure comfort food. The rice plates are all solid and come with an abundance of food, making them a great option when you are hungry. The salt and pepper chicken wings are another favorite and always hit the spot. They also offer party trays, which makes this a dependable option for larger orders and gatherings. The atmosphere is classic old school Chinese restaurant. Lazy Susan on the table tea served right when you sit sugar dispenser and red cap soy sauce bottle on the table all the signs of a classic spot done right. The space is small and can feel cramped due to limited seating, but that is part of the charm. You come here for the food, not the decor. Parking is street parking or available across the street at Walgreens, which makes it manageable. Overall Suily's Cafe delivers quality consistency and value every single time. Affordable comfort food done right and a true neighborhood staple.

Walking in, you can tell this is one of those spots that the locals really love. It has a humble, no-frills feel, but the focus is clearly on serving generous, flavorful food at reasonable prices. The portion sizes were huge, and just about every table had plates piled high with food that looked great. Service was quick and the food came out fast, which made the experience even better. I ordered their egg foo young to see how they do it, and it came out fluffy and light without feeling heavy or greasy. The gravy had great flavor and wasn't overly salty, but what I appreciated most was that they served it over their egg fried rice, which had a noticeable wok hei that tied everything together really well. The wings were good and meaty, but I wasn't a big fan of the thick batter. While they tasted fine, it made them feel more like chicken fingers than wings, which just isn't my preference. The inside of the restaurant could use a deeper cleaning, but the food definitely makes up for it. There's indoor seating, and parking is mostly on the street. However, there's also a lot near the Walgreens right out front if you need something easier. If you're in the area and looking for a solid meal with big portions, this spot is worth checking out.

Good place for reasonable Chinese food, the Tomato Beef Chow Mein is good & so is the Beef & Bok Choy over rice. I still have to try some of the other dishes that they serve there. I'm not done yet evaluating the food. But stay tuned

Small hole in the wall restaurant. Street parking available but it is metered. Lady that took my order was friendly and they take credit/debit cards. I ordered E60- scrambled egg and beef over rice. The portion was HUGE maybe 2-3 meals worth. Egg is cooked and not runny. I also requested some spicy sauce. The prices are very reasonable. I like their huge variety of rice plates. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes.

It says here on yelp new covid update delivery with a check mark on the side.... but I can't find anywhere how to get it delivered, also it's Thursday and I've been calling since 11:30 with no answer, are they even open?

They only have one waiter/cashier. Don't know if they have anyone to deliver. We called first and no one answered. So we went to the restaurant directly and they were open. You might just take a chance and drop by.

Anyone know if Suily's is open (other than Tuesdays)? I tried calling them, but no one has been picking up.

We drove by today and the open sign was in the window.

What are their updated hours for take out orders?

Went there on Wednesday. They are open at 11:00am until 8:30pm except for Tuesdays. We ordered at the restaurant for take-out.

I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEE the dry fried chicken and the Szechuan spicy beef. The chicken is crispy, packed with flavor, and super addictive, while the spicy beef is rich, bold, and has that signature numbing kick from the Sichuan peppercorns. I usually also get the honey walnut shrimp when I want something a little sweeter to balance everything out, but if you're trying this place for the first time, you really can't go wrong with the dry fried chicken and Szechuan spicy beef. Just a heads up, it's not just spicy, it's that numbing heat, so definitely get some rice on the side.

He had the black bean spicy fish with white rice, and I chose the mapo tofu with fried rice. Each lunch came with tea, a cup of hot and sour soup, and an egg roll. The soup really stood out. It wasn't just a thin broth with a few scraps floating around. It was a genuine, comforting hot and sour soup with real ingredients in every spoonful. That alone made the meal feel thoughtful and complete. The portions were satisfying and well balanced, and everything arrived hot and fresh. My husband enjoyed his fish, which had good flavor and a nice texture. The mapo tofu was exactly how I like it. The tofu held its shape, which made a big difference. I do not enjoy overly soft tofu that falls apart, and this had a firmer bite that worked really well with the sauce. The dish was clean tasting, with a steady heat that was noticeable but not overwhelming. It had spice, but it did not overpower the dish or linger too aggressively. There was no pork, which I appreciated, and it still felt complete and satisfying without it. What made this meal especially meaningful for me is that I had just gotten out of the hospital a week ago after dealing with malnutrition, dehydration, and several health issues. I had not been eating well and had lost over 80 pounds in the past year. This was the first full, nourishing meal I have truly been able to enjoy in a long time. For the first time in months, I did not feel weak or fragile afterward. I felt full, steady, and strong. That kind of experience goes beyond just good food. It felt restorative. It felt like care. From what others often say, this place has built a strong reputation for bold Sichuan flavors that are still approachable. People tend to mention the generous portions, the consistent quality, and the fact that the spice levels are flavorful rather than overwhelming. It is the kind of spot that draws both regulars and first time visitors who are looking for something reliable and satisfying. Spicy House gave me more than just a meal. They gave me a moment of comfort and strength when I really needed it. We will absolutely be back.

They are located in a strip mall near several different food places, bakery, and a bowling alley. This is a solid dim sum place, with no frills and reasonable prices. You order off a printed menu that's in Chinese with tiny English subtitles. You can also order off their regular menu if you want to supplement the dim sum dishes. Their food is very good, and some dishes were excellent. The service was pretty quick, and before we knew it, all our dishes were out with almost no room on the lazy Susan. The standouts for me were: + Steamed custard buns (piggy buns) - I ordered these for the kiddies, but dang they are so good. The custard filling is so velvety, it's almost like pudding. I think I detected a hint of coconut too - yum. + Beef chow fun - this had a really good wok flavor and the noodles were less wide than most. The noodles didn't clump either, and the bean sprouts were still crispy. + Roasted pork belly - the skin was so crispy and the pork was juicy. We ordered most of the basic dishes like har gaw, sui mai, noodle rolls, turnip cake, stuffed eggplant, chicken feet, etc. and they were all above average. My only complaint is if you don't read Chinese, the menu is a little hard to navigate. The English subtitles are so small that if you're looking for something, you have to scan the front and back of the menu trying to find the item. I was looking for sticky rice in lotus leaf, but found sticky rice roll and thought it was the same thing. It wasn't. The sticky rice roll was not bad, but I found the rice drier than when it's in lotus leaf. We ordered a few things by mistake because the English subtitles were not that descriptive. Overall, a great alternative to more popular places like Koi Palace. The menu may not be as creative as Koi, but you don't have to deal with the lines and you still get great food.
