Great place with a lot going on inside. Open mic nights are my favorite, great big stage and sound, awesome community.

We went here last night since they had an event. We never been here before. It was an all around fun experience for us. The best thing is they had TVs so you can see what is going on stage and not so close to the speakers. They have some tables and chairs but limited. The bartenders were nice to us with our drinks. The music was old school. I enjoyed their music. The security I give him props since he was walking back and forth making sure nobody is blocking the stairs. All around great experience. We noticed you guys have more events coming up. We are curious to go to those eventually. read more

Had an NA Guinness and sang at the jam on a Tuesday night. The place was pretty empty. I don't think they have food? Ambiance was a step up from a dive bar, but the seating near the stage is limited - only stools, no booths or chairs. Bathroom was clean. The sound system was decent, bartender was friendly enough. Will probably go back for a jam again - they're happening twice a month now. Parking was easy, but I almost couldn't find the bar, there's not a big sign, and it's tucked away in a back corner of a larger shopping center. read more

Place is OK. They bring a lot of great bands, especially salsa bands. good dance floor, large stage , kind of a dive bar feel as you walk in the door . Then to the left it all changes. Place could seriously use some upgrading and more seating and tables where the dance floor area is. . I'm only posting this to warn you. There was a section in the back where two people set up selling so called Puerto Rican food. . It was not Just not good. Food. . Their Set up was a really tacky if anything did not look sanitary, but we were so hungry. We bought it anyway With much regret. Owners need to think twice about using this vendor. This is an awesome hidden gem in Pacifica for musicians to perform their special musics for people in the Bay Area. Super cool music / dance venue. Very safe, organized, and fun. There is a huge dancing floor where everyone enjoys good musics and dance. There is a bar who serves efficiently everyone! There is also a ViP table and chairs where you can reserve for birthday party. I love it every time I'm here. You will have an amazing blast coming alone or with your buddies. Everyone is happy here. This review is long overdue, I love coming to my neighborhood bar that also has a live music venue. They have a billiard table, super friendly staff and affordable prices for drinks. Every Wednesday they have karaoke night and on weekends they have different bands/groups performing. Because the stage area is smaller, you get a live performance by the artist literally right next to you. I was lucky enough to watch Surface and Sir Mix A Lot up close and got to enjoy the music at a different intimate experience. They always have specials happening like spaghetti night or hot dogs during a football game. read more

First time there, and they charged us an additional $2 per drink for "events". We were not made aware of this policy nor was it posted anywhere. Additionally the bartender pour us a different drink that what was charged. So basically $19 for mid tequila and $10 for a pint. Go somewhere else. Not a strip mall in Pacifica. Seems like a shady business move. Our fault for not checking the tab before closing out. We also tipped 20% cash on top of that. read more

I bought tickets for a fundraiser here, last weekend. Super Diamond was performing, and it benefited a preschool that my friend's children attend. Before I talk about the bar itself, I just need to put it out there that it was a wonderful show, high quality, worth every penny, and beyond entertaining! Here is why I loved this spot. Plenty of well lit parking. As we were entering we noticed that there were quite a few members on their security team. The crew working security were professional, welcoming, ( not going to lie- one was extremely handsome) and the others were still regular handsome (well played LBMB) and they were all so friendly. The guys at the door were our first impression of this venue, and I just knew it was going to be a great night. The bar is fairly spacious, the stairs to the dance floor have a railing, thank goodness- lol. It's CLEAN! The floors, the tables, and even the bathrooms were nice and clean. The stage is large and thennobody yelled at my friends for jumping up and dancing on it . Most of the bartenders were friendly. I had two mandarin sours, and a margarita on the rocks. My mandarin sours were well crafted and plenty strong, The margarita was also very tasty. I liked that there was a variety of seating both on the main floor and down stairs as well. Friendly locals, great staff, spacious spot to have some fun. Let loose, or just relax after a long work week. You can come casual, but you wouldn't be out of place dressed up either. I'm adding this place to the list of favorites. Please Note- this review is a bit of a photo fail. These photos were taken after the bar had emptied out. This place is a great whole in the wall where you will find bands that play every week. I'm really into reggae and island jams and this is where you can find them. Bands like Katchafire have played here before. And recently they had a Bob Marley tribute. It a nice local place to chill and have a good time. Last Friday, March 29/ 2024, we showed up at the door to purchase tickets the 8 pm show. On their website it clearly stated tickets at the door were $20. I even called 3 days prior to confirm. Had this bar/music venue on my radar awhile and finally made it out to Pacifica, Ca. They book pretty cool acts with a recent emphasis on reggae, my favorite genre. Came out to see Mykal Rose, who never disappoints. The bar lies inside a strip mall literally bordering the Pacific O. Guessing that's why they named the town Pacifica? 1st time passing thru town for me, reminiscent of a twilight drive into scenic Seaside & Monterey further down CA-1. Can literally smell the salt water perpetually in the air. I don't drink alcohol anymore, but if you do, you'll be in good company here. Pretty boisterous crowd freely imbibing in what I mistakenly envisioned was a sleepy ocean-side hamlet prior to arrival. This was reinforced in spades when an empty beer bottle casually tossed from the upper level came glancing off mi noggin during the set. Not sure if the bottle or my head came out worse, lol? Very 420 friendly venue. Top-shelf Cali leaf! Hoping (praying?) these folks use Uber/Lyft post-concert or have designated drivers, frfr. Venue says it holds 300 patrons, but I wouldn't wanna be anywhere near here with that many helmets. There is no Covid mask requirement. There's a really cool, upscale market next door for a pre-concert snack, but, you gotta get there before 9pm closing (name: Oceana Market). Mykal was 10/10 as usual. Amaze-balls! Local club fantastic world-class music, requires pan tension two tickets offers in and come through town but I'll take that any day, run like a professional operation both as a casual day bar and usually a perfect setting for dread dancing, roots reggae and everything in between...You won't be disappointed if you're looking for a good time in Pacifica, pay attention the live music sells out! read more

I've been living in Pacifica for a few years now and used to come here when it was Octupus lounge. They definitely expanded the area and throw a ton of music events here. I love that it's right down my street for all the good vibes. If you're into reggae then there's probably a chance you saw a music gig here. Can't go wrong. Bar staff is real friendly. I went here last Saturday, specifically to hear a friend, Kimberlye Gold, who was performing with the Third Thursday Band. It was nice to go someplace close to my home in Daly City ( only 3-1/2 miles ). I think it would have been pretty dead, though, had it not been for one large birthday group and fans of the musicians. The bar, itself, is quite nice - large, nicely decorated in a CA surfer theme, very fitting for Pacifica. There was a nice margarita menu. I had a really delicious "Zombie Margarita" - three different kinds of tequila, Citonge liquer, passionfruit and pineapple. The food, in my opinion, is not that special. My hot pastrami sandwich couldn't compare with that at Max's Diner and the bruschettas were good but not great. There were pizzas on sourdough bread, burgers, hot dogs and other bar fare. On Friday and Saturday nights, there is a live band and, for me, at 66-years-old, it was great fun, having my friend, Kimberlye and the band sing rock and roll from the 60's, definitely my generation. read more
