Jim Bowie

I visited Winslow's for a friend's birthday with a party of 12 guests. It was great that we had a private room (with a reservation). However, the service was on the slower side. I had to wait about 7-10 minutes longer for my pizza after everyone else had their food. While that's understandable for a large party, it was still a bit frustrating. That said, the servers were very kind and even cut the birthday cake for us, which was a nice touch. I ordered the Jim Bowie pizza. Pretty decent. I enjoy BBQ chicken pizza, so it was a solid choice. I'd rate this spot 3.5 stars. It wasn't particularly memorable, but I'd be open to returning and trying more of their menu. There is minimal lot parking, but they do offer valet. Overall, Winslow's is a nice option for birthday celebrations, a girls' night out, or a date night. I'd be happy to give it another try!

This location is tucked away in Arlington Heights with limited parking. Space is a bit small and cozy but we got there when the opened so there was no wait. Our server was nice and attentive and food was delicious! The biscuits were my favorite but they are best eaten fresh - I brought the second one home to reheat and it wasn't as fluffy. It was a nice spot for our girls' catch up and would love to go back!

Stopped over for brunch with some friends and ordered the Chef's Burger. Juicy and cooked as requested (medium).

We've been on the search for really good pizza here in Fort Worth... and we've found what - for our pizza desires - is the absolute best pizza in town. Winslow's is a quaint little wine bar with an incredible patio on Camp Bowie with not only pizza and wine, but a robust menu of that ranges from charcuterie boards and other appetizer options to wood fired pizzas and other larger entrees. I want to go back to try more and also go to their weekend brunch. Their Happy Hour is generously timed from 4-7 Tuesday thru Saturday and then from 4 to close on Sundays. That Happy Hour menu is a perfect list of menu favorites from drinks to appetizers to select pizzas at great prices. Service was outstanding, even when they had to rush to put the patio cover on when the rain started pouring. Our waiter, David, was a superstar.

Breakfast Taco with ribeye, scrambled eggs, cheese, and perfect tortillas. Incredible! Also loved the side of Bacon Brunch Beans

Great patio weather calls for brunch at Winslow's! It's always fun to enjoy their food when we are in town from Dallas. I loved the taste of their updated menu and specifically thought the ribeye breakfast tacos were out of this world! Thanks Winslows!

Expresso Martini

Had a fun girl's brunch! Bianca pizza was very tasty along with the fig & prosciutto pizza. Apps were good (hummus, salami/cheese tray). Expresso martini hit the spot. Patio was nice as whether was cool and shade was perfect. Menu could use maybe some seasonal rotations to keep it fresh. Service was overall pleasant.

Date night at Winslow's! We came the eve of New years Eve and it was busy. Luckily, we got a table close to their wood fire brick oven, which added to the ambiance. It was happy hour, so I ordered the truffle fries and the pecan seasonal old fashion. We also ordered the meatballs, bbq pizza, and a glass of Robert Hall Cabernet. My old fashion was way too sweet. Our waitress told me it was sweet, so I asked for them to make it less sweet. Unfortunately, I had to ask for them to remake it. Later, I found on the bill that I was charged the full amount for the drink instead of the happy hour price. My husband's cabernet was delightful. The truffle fries were crisp and full of truffle flavor. The meatballs were truly the best I've had in years. Packed with Italian seasoning, juicy and tender, and then smothered in the best marinara sauce. The waitress asked us if we wanted more bread for the sauce, and we said yes. Later, I found out we were charged $2 for the extra bread. Our pizza arrived next, and oh my gosh, it was awesome. The jalapeño was spicy, haha, but I really enjoyed the heat. We did have a side of ranch to help, and I needed it. Every jalapeño is different, so it might be different for you, but try it as it was made first and then decide to take off the jalapeños. Lastly, we got a lemon and blueberry bread pudding to go. It is the reason I'm writing this review. It was the best damn bread pudding I've had in my life. Creamy, soft, and balanced in flavor. The mint and lemon make this usually overly sweet and heavy dessert to be comforting and refreshing. Hats off to the chef! Overall, go have a date night at Winslow's. They have delicious bites that will surely make you happy, and if that doesn't do it, the wine will.

Winslows is walkable from our daughter's new home, and we popped in after helping with some unpacking. On an unseasonably warm November evening, we sat on the patio by a fire pit, joining several other tables with the same idea. Indoor tables looked charming too, with another bar and room with a pizza oven. Our server Easton did a great job, we ordered a couple bottles of wine, truffle panko mac, and a couple pizzas to share. I enjoyed the fig prosciutto and we also had a yummy margarita pizza to share. Cute building on a busy corner and they offer valet parking.

Winslow 's Salad

Cute little place. Limited seating but great vibes. All the food we tried was amazing. We will be coming back. We started with the Winslow's salad. I didn't say separate it but they did already and charged a split charge of $2. Loved the flavor and all the ingredients. We also had a cup of tomato basil soup. It was very rich. For entrees he got the burger...so many flavorful flavors and it comes with truffle fries. We also got the salmon that came on top of spinach, mushrooms and a cream sauce. This was also very rich along with our side of Mac & cheese. Kids would love as well as adult kids. Can't wait to come back and try other entrees.

The mouth watering trout.

Food is exceptional especially the Pecan Crusted Trout and the burger. Deserts are to die for: The Bread Pudding and the Chocolate Mousse.

Perfect Saturday afternoon spent on the grounds of Saddlerock Ranch. I gathered with a few ladies…read moreand we brought our own little bites and charcuterie board. Others had food delivered. one order arrived seamlessly and was brought directly to our table by a staff member, while another friend met her Uber Eats delivery near the entrance. The staff and vendors were busy setting up for a derby event later that afternoon, and it definitely looked like attendees were in for a great time. One thing I love about Saddlerock is that there's always something happening- whether it's a movie night, sculpt sessions, local vendors, or special events. Parking is always the trickiest part of visiting Saddlerock, but once you're parked and settled in, it's such a relaxing, laid-back atmosphere to enjoy a glass or two of wine.

We walked to the back and found the bar, there was also one inside but it was closed. We all opted for wine flights. Back area had some nice live music. Not to loud- just perfect. The view is beautiful. Recommended to call for reservations on the weekends because it gets full and they start putting up reserved signs pretty early. Very good wines and the set up was cute. This was a peaceful girls day, we will be back hopefully sooner rather than later.

We fell in love with Grand Cru!…read more Let me start by saying I have HATED mushrooms my whole life. Never has there ever been a time where I can eat them or ANYTHING containing them without gagging....UNTIL GRAND CRU. I tried their mushroom flatbread on a (very nervous) whim due to a free sample, and immediately fell in love. We loved it so much that we came back shortly after just to order another! Wine selection here is amazing, and the service has always been so friendly. We always feel at home. Cost inside, too with warm and low lighting. I highly recommend Grand Cru. It's been added to my list of faves!

The Barista Ink Cabernet that I tried, I would for sure recommend. (Cherry notes folks!) The mushroom flatbread is really good, and is something that would get my husband to tag along again. Chris let us know that they have live music on Friday, maybe Saturday nights. Plus, we loved the little puppy treat station by the door. We regularly got to see the cute puppies getting to stop for a treat on their walks! Give them a shot, I know I'll be back!

Great venue, service and food. I was a solo diner tonight…read moreand was given multiple seating choices. Close to band, away from band, table or booth. Tonight I was feeling back room incognito. The band was great though. Very nice 3 piece playing Hendrix and Stevie Ray. My server was Emeline and was helpful with my menu choices. Food and Bock style beer was good. The green beans needed to be cooked longer as they were a bit firm. Price was reasonable $25 with beer. The venue, scratch kitchen and band made this a good deal I thought.

My friend did all like what they ordered and their food looked good too.
