I'm unsure where all the good reviews from this place come from. Our server was awesome, however the kitchen staff (who you can hear from the dining area) need to learn how to be in a service industry. Small changes to an order because they were out of what we wanted, caused the kitchen staff to talk rudely about the order, which we could hear from our seats. The restaurant smells like my grandmas house stuffed with mothballs, which we decided to put to the side and give them a chance still, however after this meal I hope this review makes it back to the staff so they can get some training on how to be effective restaurant staff. read more

This place is incredible. I moved from California and have found it difficult to find restaurants I love here. This food is incredible and the people that run it are full of great energy. We had the shrimp and grits and the silly Millie. Both amazing. I usually don't even like grits but this dish was to die for. The inside is decorated so cute. read more

Wonderful spot for weekend brunch!! Omelette in a skillet was so light and fluffy, the sausage was delicious. Lemon ricotta pancakes were also a hit at the table. Coffee was very good. Service was excellent! 100% will return next time I'm in Myrtle. read more

Waiter was less than helpful, asked for poached eggs and he said we don't do that, so ordered over medium when the meal came out the eggs were poached. He had to be reminded to bring our coffee and was rude about it, never came back to see how anything was or if we needed any drink refills. We had planned to go here before their water damage and went in as soon as they opened back up. While waiting for our order, we could see the beautiful presentation of other orders. Amazing in Myrtle Beach! The food was great and the service perfect. We both went with the chorizo hash and it was unusual and delicious. The over medium eggs were, in fact, over medium. Amazing food and super friendly staff. This place isn't in the best part of town, but I decided to try it based on the positive reviews and my family's love of breakfast. We weren't disappointed! The in-house iced lattes were delicious, the pink lemonade was the perfect mix, and all the food is great. My wife and I had the breakfast sandwich and the hash. Both were a somewhat unique take on some breakfast classics and they were fantastic. My kids had the buttermilk pancakes, bacon, and eggs, and ate it all! The owner even came over to chat for a bit. Prefacing with I'm family friends with the owners, so stopped in to visit the last time I was in Myrtle Beach. The food was so good -- clean plates all around when we left. I rarely order pancakes but had a feeling these would be worth it and I ate every bite. The bacon was perfectly cooked which is always appreciated. My friends ordered French toast and (I think) a hash scramble and side salad, which all looked fantastic. The service was great as well! Quick and the friendliest. I had read about Winna's Kitchen and it was on my list to try. On the day after Thanksgiving my husband and I had to drop off his car for repairs. We drove by Winna's and decided to stop for breakfast. We were both glad we did. This place has a perfect formula. It's small, cozy and welcoming. I think we were greeted by Winna when we walked in. She gave a big smile and "Welcome!" The menu is simple but what they are serving is quality food made with love. My husband had the Silly Millie - light and fluffy lemon ricotta pancakes. He let me taste - to die for. I had The Handsome - choosing a fried egg, sausage and American cheese. I ordered a side of Brussel Sprouts - my favorite. Sooo good. They have Coke products and the Coke was good, too. I hate when soda is flat. It wasn't. Apparently they serve dinner one evening a week, so, now have to plan a trip to try that. Highly recommend and worth seeking this restaurant out. read more
