I had the worst experience here today. Let me start off by saying I come here at least twice a week but usually have it delivered. The times I have come there, there is an African American gentleman that is a supervisor or Mgr and he is awesome. Today there was a new white girl with jacked up teeth that wouldn't give me her name hence the description who was rude af. Most of the gripes you will hear about a Wingstop are generally centered around two things: The service and the availability of seating in the restaurant. In my humble opinion, both of these deficiencies can be forgiven and are not deal-breakers in my eyes. The reason for this is because the taste of the food supplants any other shortcoming. If a place has great food, I can often ignore everything else unless it's a health issue or you personally insult me. Even then, with the right resolution, I may still come back. One tenet of Wingstop is undeniable, the food is good. Not as good as it's similarly new cross-town competitor, Buffalo Wild Wings, but still good nonetheless. Wingstop will naturally draw comparisons to BWW because they are both simultaneously fighting to satiate your wing craving. The seating is lousy because this is a place that prides itself on you coming in, getting your stuff and leaving. It's called Wingstop, not "I'm gonna grab some wings and sit around all day stop". Although they do have TVs for their customers to bide their time with while they wait for their food, this is essentially a wing pit-stop. BWW would better suit the sit-down customer. Seaside gets two new wing places in rapid succession and all of a sudden acts like it's a Wing Authority...funny. This city should be elated at the fact that there are now places not named Burger King, Wendys or KFC to sit down and eat at during late hours. Went to their website which makes it very clear they want you to place your order through their online portal. I ordered a 50pc wings and bleu cheese tub to take to a party later this evening. The total came to less than $40 and the option was there to set the time to pick up the wings which for me was 4pm this afternoon and pay for them at that time. I get a phone call a couple hours later telling me that they will not complete my order unless I prepay them over the phone. I see no mention of this policy on their website and if it is policy then wouldn't the website force you to pay via credit card during the checkout process? At any rate if I had wanted to pay ahead of time I would have done so instead of SELECTING "PAY AT THE STORE". Ultimately I had to order them from Buffalo Wild Wings which has equally horrible service, but in the end one business is getting my money and this one isn't. Seems pretty silly to lose a long time customer and the potential for hundreds of dollars in sales over a $40 meal ticket that is deemed too big of a risk for management to gamble on, but I guarantee I will never frequent another Wingstop again. I am surprised at all the bad reviews. I went in last night around 10 and got great service. Told him it was my first time helped me read the menu and tell me what the best sellers where. Told me a 10 minute wait was due to the fact that they are made to order. Who doesn't love that? The food was awesome. The lemon pepper and the Louisiana dry rub both where great options. Very juicy chicken the flavors where great and not overwhelming. I will try them again. Much better service than I have received at Carl's Jr in the past with WAY better food at the same price. This is one of the cleanest and fanciest WingStops I have ever eaten at. The wings were cooked to order and the size of the wings was exceptional. The customer service did not disappoint and the ambience was great. Enjoyed having a late dinner here with my girlfriend as we watched the Warriors game from 3 flat screen tvs, which were relatively large. Normally tvs in WingStop are not in HD but these were and their audio was phenomenal. What surprised me the most was that they offered us plates for our wings. Never had I been offered plates at WingStop. This is the best WingStop ever. read more
