Tried Wingstop for the first time and I won't try it again. I love fried wings, especially those that aren't smother in a batter so I was semi excited to check out Wingstop. We ordered their 3 flavor: Lemon Chicken, Cajun, and Garlic chicken. Lemon chicken was the best of the three. It had a good balance of the seasoning. The wings were nicely fried so each bite was pretty crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. The only thing that I noticed about those wings were the fact that they had used a lot of butter. The Cajun wings tasted like buffalo wings with cajun spices added on top of it. We only had 6 wings and we couldn't finish it between the two of us. I was expecting more cajun but my taste bud were telling me buffalo wings. It was a little sour to the taste. It appears that Wingstop believes that Cajun means Tobascco. Unfortunately not.... The last set of wings we had were the garlic parmesan wings. If it weren't for the crap ton of Kraft grated parmesan cheese smoothered on top of the wings, it would have been very good. However, there were so much cheese that we had to wipe it off. All in all I'm not going to go back to Wingstop for a long long time. I'll make my own chicken wings in the future!!!!! read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I called in my order, arrived 20 mins later. Stood there for another 20 minutes and no on person working there asked if I had been helped or if they could help me. So I left, they called me 3 hours later to tell me my order was ready for pick up. Yeah that wasn't gonna happen!!! WING LIMIT: I called to place an order for wings for my husbands birthday. We were having guests over and thought wing stop would be a great idea...I was wrong. Halfway through my order the girl tells me that I cannot order more than 30 wings over the phone. If I want I can go online and do it but phone orders have a limit of only 30 wings...I've never heard of a rule and asked if I could break it into two separate orders and was denied. Horrible service. Upon ordering I was a little indecisive because of the huge variety which is great. Iris was acting rude and impatient. And after I ordered and paid, a large party came in. Still on the quest for the perfect fries in the Monterey area. I heard good things about Wing Stop's fries so decided I would try myself. I had the lemon pepper. Pretty good!! Full cut fries with the skin on. Served nice and hot with a good crisp. Called them to inform about the mix up and refused to do anything about it...stating they said the order to my son, who didn't place the order and didn't know anything but to pick up the food. My friend and I decided to try Wingstop because neither of us had been there. I wasn't impressed. Those had to be the smallest wings in the world. The wings all seemed to be cooked the same way and then just drenched in whatever sauce you chose. Wings are suppose to be fried then simmered in the sauce for a minute or two. I ordered the Louisiana Rub and the Smoky BBQ. When I went to pick them up at the counter, the server noticed that they had forgotten the cajun powder on the Louisiana dry rub ones. He sprinkled some on top. Hmmm, so the ones on the bottom don't deserve rub? It didn't really matter because with or without the rub, they were tasteless because rub is suppose to be rubbed on not sprinkled. The BBQ ones were so drenched in sauce that I couldn't taste the chicken (maybe because they were tasteless like the other ones. I asked for a paper cup for water since I don't use single use plastics. I explained this to the girl behind the counter and she told me if I wanted a paper cup it was $2.08 for it. Really? I'm not going to steal soda (I don't t drink soda) I just wanted a paper cup. I was a little annoyed and taken back at the lack of customer service. Just about every fast food place I've been to has honored my request. So I had my meal without water. Went here Sat night and this place was packed! The line to order kept on moving though which seemed alright despite how busy it was. We ordered to go and I got the hawaiin wings and the mild, my boyfriend got some bbq wings and the hot kind. The wait time for the order was really long, I didn't believe the girl when she said 16 minutes. But it was probably that long. When they called us, they said our order back to us, which I appreciate because I hate when I get the wrong things. I also ordered blue cheese on the side and yes, it was blue cheese! I can't tell you how many times I ask for blue only to get ranch most places, and the size the container was pretty good unlike BWW and Hooters. These wings are the crunchy fried kind and they put the sauce over it which is still tasty. The wings don't simmer and they're not soft which is a little different. Don't really know why it took me so long to try Wingstop but I finally did and I love it. Prices are fair and portions are big. The mango habanero flavor wings have just the right amount of spiciness, tanginess, and sweetness in each bite and in that order. If you're a fan of corn the fried corn is a must have. The veggie sticks are delicious, so crunchy and fresh. I think they fry their fries with skin on which I'm not a fan of and I prefer them more crisp so I probably won't order them in the future. Over all I really enjoy the food and I'll keep going back. Service is good, not friendly or overly attentive but as long as they get my order right which they have so far everytime I don't mind. Ordered online for the first time to pickup and once I placed my order it didn't take long for it to be ready. I really like the online setup, it's so easy to understand and I like that you can choose how many wings you want of each sauce and you can mix boneless with traditional, if preferred. Have eaten at both Buffalo Wild Wings and Wingstop multiple times and tried different items on both menus. I still prefer Wingstop for food/take-out! The traditional (bone-in) wings are great. Maybe slightly smaller in size than at BWW. However, I personally think they are more flavorful then their competitor. I also prefer Wingstop's sauces - my favorite sauce is Original Hot (classic buffalo wings!) but Hawaiian and Garlic Parmesan are also very good. I like the convenience of their combo pack - can get wings, with their original seasoned fries, and a drink. If you'd prefer, you can also order wings or tenders a la carte. I've never eaten in, always done take out. Seating is limited, so I prefer to take my wings home. Wingstop's menu may come across as very limited compared to BWW, but having said that, it's a wing place. On the whole, I find pricing is much more value for money as well read more

I've been coming to Wingstops for years and I am a huge fan of their product. This particular location leaves a lot to be desired, though. Regarding the food: Their wings are smaller than most chains but that's why a one-person meal with a price relatively similar to other chains comes with 10 wings. They're wings and fries are ALWAYS fresh and that's a huge plus for someone who's had a reheated wing or two at other establishments. If you haven't tried their fries, give it a shot. They are fresh cut every day, cooked to order, and seasoned perfectly with salt, pepper, and sugar. Like I said, though, this location leaves a lot to be desired. When the store first opened, the employees had a difficult time processing orders quickly and efficiently, but I gave them a pass since they were obvious just getting started. 6 months later and they are still struggling to get orders right on the first time and they aren't the friendliest either. The second problem is that they have been open for more than 6 months and they STILL DO NOT HAVE ALCOHOL. I don't if it's the city's fault or the company's fault, but it's not a good idea to try and sell wings and not beer. They have been saying forever that they are working on it but odds are if I want buffalo wings, I'll also want a beer (so off to Buffalo Wild Wings). Again, the product itself is amazing. We ordered wing stop online for takeout like we do atleast once a month We spend around 40 dollars each time for the 30 pack combo We are supposed to get 2 large sides with the combo and we always order seasoned fries and all carrots veggies When we got home - 5 min after picking up our order- we live very close by - I started to serve my kids and realized we had been given two large sides of all carrot sticks and no fries I called them right away to ask if we could come right back and switch the carrots for the fries The girl who answered the phone remember by name since she had just given me my order. She said that it looked like I made a mistake online and somehow selected 2 all carrot sides instead of one order of fries and one order of carrots I still don't really know if that's true - since I have never made the error in the past. The price is the same regardless of the choice of sides you select - she confirmed that for me. So I asked if we could swap the carrots for the fries we wanted. She went to ask her manager and he refused and said it was my error and I would have to pay for the fries if I wanted them I asked if I could speak to him myself - she said sure and put me on hold to get him Then she returned and said he refused to get on the phone with me! I completely understand that they are saying it was my error in the online order but as a adult who works in sales and customer service in this area I know that it was no inconvenience to them to swap the fries nor would it be any type of loss to there gross profit to do so. I also know that the manager on duty should never refuse to speak to a customer who is requesting there help. When she informed me that he would not come to the phone -I asked for his name and then he refused to let her give me his name. She pointed out that I could literally go there in person and ask for the manager to get his information. We used to love Wingstop - at another location. Here, in the past year, only a single order we've placed (maybe 8 total) has been correct. And they're NEVER ready when ordered. We usually place a simple order - 20 original, all flats, well-done, single flavor, but we've been --shorted twice, --once had the wrong flavor entirely, --once had half our order ok, and the other half of the order the wrong flavor and not just not 'well-done,' they were soggy, and almost uncooked, --once half of the wings had gone bad and were inedible, --three times they've given us the wrong dressing (or not as much dressing as we paid for...) --and whether we end with well-done or soggy is a 50-50 guess each time. The staff tend to 'dump' everything into the bag indiscriminately, which has several times meant that the bag was already leaking/dripping when they handed it to us... (And the veggies are wandering around loose on the bottom.) The first time we didn't notice, and ended up with a grease stain on the car upholstery. Now we check first - but, as mentioned by other reviewers, the staff is neither friendly nor helpful--they didn't even want to give us a clean bag! Really sorry that this is our only 'local' option. And no, like other reviewers, I am NOT willing to drive all the way back (30 minutes+) in hopes of MAYBE getting a corrected order. I've been to this particular one a few times, and every time each cashier worker was polite and had good recommendations.
