The spicy ones are super hot, kind of hurt the belly a little (maybe they have a ton of jalapeño?) and the parmesan tenders were the best of the two options. I have never experienced worse customer service in my life than what I just experienced in this place. I, along with two other friends, placed mobile orders through the app at 7:24pm tonight with the expectations that it would be ready within the 21-26 mins that it stated. This was completely wrong. We showed up at 7:50 and were told that it would be another 10-15 mins by the man working the register. It wasn't too busy when we came in but continued to get busier due to the delay. All three of us sat and waited without bothering him again until our food was ready. When my name was called first, they shoved the bag towards me and walked away and I proceeded to wait again to ask for my cup for my drink. The woman working, who I assume was in charge, gave me my cup without saying anything. Both the man and women proceeded to be super rude to my other two friends, disregarding them any time they tried to ask about their order. I finally got up to get my last friend's order and was completely ignored by the man yet again even though I was the only one at the counter waiting. He was incredibly rude when I finally spoke up, then proceeded to grab the bag that had been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long. I thought this was weird because they had been calling out all of the other mobile orders as there were still many people standing around waiting on theirs. When we finally received all of our orders, it was about 8:30pm. I would also like to add that last time I ate here, I got food poisoning. It took me a little while to give this location a shot again and this was the last chance I gave it. Overall, we will not be coming back which is really upsetting since this is the only one in the area. I was pleasantly surprised with our lunch at Wingstop. To be honest, I went in not expecting much. Wingstop is located in a small storefront in the same parking lot as World Market and upon entering, reminds you of a fast food spot. My mind was thinking pre-made wings just heated up to order and soggy fries that had been under the heat lamp too long. Imagine my surprise when our food was delivered. We didn't order ahead online since this was an impulse stop. We ordered (too much food BTW) from the friendly cashiers and took a seat at the counter by the window. The wings and fries did take a bit of time to prepare, but we relaxed and enjoyed our fountain drink as we waited. My expectations were rising as the wait indicated to me that our wings were being freshly prepared. About 20-30 minutes after we ordered, they called our name. There were a bunch of take out orders being picked up so the crew was definitely busy. The wings we received were hot, fresh and large! I enjoyed the Spicy Korean BBQ while my husband went with Original Hot. The fries were hand cut and also hot and fresh. Everything had a great flavor. I especially liked the sticky, teriyaki flavor of the Korean BBQ wings. The wings were juicy inside and crispy out - just perfect. Their ranch was tasty as well and made a great dipping sauce for both the wings and fries. My only complaint - although the fries were quite tasty, they were not as crispy as I would have liked. However, they were not soggy or greasy. The entire experience was satisfying and I would definitely order these wings again. I have been a long time Wingstop fan but the new way of ordering on line was not a good experience. I chose my wings, sauce and flavors. The on line platform said it would 21 minutes. I arrived to the location only to find out it would be another 15 minutes I waiting patiently and received my order. i hit the road and found out my fries were cold, chicken skin was soggy, I have loved their wings, with the new normal I will not be going back. Wingstop's one of those places that you go to for a late night craving because it's practically the only one that's really open and it's the food that will fill you up enough for a good night sleep. I ordered everything on the website which was easy to use especially if you want to make an account and accumulate points with them or something like that. I don't use DoorDash for pick up which seems like the main cause for bad reviews regarding this location, so definitely use the Wingstop website because there is no extra surcharge and all the limited flavors are listed online as well. My pick up was fast and easy as we were welcomed upon entering. The customer service was phenomenal given the fact that it was 10 PM at night and we all know how hangry people get at that time, but not this place. The guy at the counter helped us right away and offered us extra plates with utensils for our meal. Oh, the food. Right. Well, we ordered the limited flavors on the menu which were the hot lemon, which were buffalo wings and lemon pepper seasoning combined. We also ordered the lemon garlic wings which mixed lemon pepper and garlic parmesan together. It was a combo so we got all celery (I don't like carrots), and extra seasoned fries. No complaints because everything was fresh and as good as Wingstop wings can ever be. read more

Went in to pick up two combo deals of 20 wings and fries, with some chicken tender, voodoo fries, and 2 drinks. Pretty simple right how can anyone mess that up you may think. So I pick up the order trying to have some faith in them and get home to disappointment. They forgot the most important part of the combo, the fries. So I call to tell them and ask them what my options are and to my surprise they couldn't offer a refund due to it being a combo, what a shocker right but the man on the phone was nice and polite, even offered to throw in some wings due to having to drive back and have the fries ready by the time I get back to their restaurant. Arriving back to this "fine" establishment the fries weren't even ready nor the additional wings that were mentioned were given further disappointing me. Luckily this is not my last meal but I do not think they can redeem themselves. points on improvement first is don't mess up the simple things. Second, keep your word to your customers because it is not my responsibility to keep you accountable or make sure you have your things together. Third, maybe some communication so everyone is on the same page in case that was the issue to not having items ready the first time... or the second time to pick up what you all forgot. My order wasn't even close to ready at the time of set pickup, I waited an additional 25 minutes to end up getting a refund for wasting my damn time. I put in an online order and sent my bf to pick up. They have a new policy that I had to have my id and card I paid with. Since my bf was my DD I didn't have my purse with me. Lucky for me the staff was super helpful. They were able to cancel my order and my bf was able to pay with his atm card. The 2 wonderful staff members were so accommodating and really took care of us even when they were super busy. The people that work at this location work their butts off. They are the only wings stop in Monterey so they are always busy, but they are worth the wait. Each Wingstop is a franchise (for the most part) and the wings seem to differ from location to location. The wings at this location are always overlooked. The sauces are your standards for Wingstop. Cajun is really good, along with the standard wing sauces. The lemon pepper is a winner. The place is clean. Service is slow though. This location needs some work. read more

We have been eating at Wingstop location for a while now. We have noticed a slipping in customer services and in food quality. Last night we ordered a 10 piece w/two sauces. When we got home it was a 9 piece with one correct sauce and one incorrect sauce. We called to complain and instead of the manager getting on the phone to discuss the issue and apologize the young woman cashier kept putting us on hold to ask questions and relay our dispute with the manager. They did offer to change out the order if we drove back to the store with the 9 wings. Really, I'm home now! I hope that the store owner sees the string of negative reviews over the past several months on Yelp and starts to right the ship. As a courier who used to pick up and deliver orders from this particular Wingstop, I have to say that I've been harassed by the staff of this place every single time I've went in to pick up an order to deliver it. They make me feel very uncomfortable while I'm in their store. I once asked them why they do this to me, and they said "because couriers are thieves and steal customer's orders." Nevermind the fact that I have delivered over 8,000 orders and packages over several years and have a customer rating of 4.99 out of 5.00. I am by far more highly rated than this Wingstop's 2.4 out of 5.0 rating. I have never stolen anything in my life and to be accused of maybe doing so in front every other courier and customer standing next to us overhearing everything, makes me feel very uncomfortable. This is harassment plain and simple. Their justification for doing it isn't even good. Why would I steal a customer's order when the fact of the matter is that I am being paid money to pick up and deliver the order, money which I can then turn around and use to purchase my own order from Wingstop or anywhere else. After ordering and prepaid online went in to pick up. Wait about 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence. Once the SHIFT MANAGER came to ask if I needed something she proceeded to tell me to wait in the VERY LONG LINE. I did. She then picked my order from the wait rack and called me for pickup. She then asked for ID. I showed her the order confirmation on my phone that showed payment and all info. She said she could not give me the order without the card purchase with and a formal ID. Are they not checking that the names match with the phone number before placing an order ? Asked for parmesan cheese the guy tried arguing with the girl stating he put Parmesan cheese in my bag when I never even got it.
