I love this new addition to the area! They offer 3 types of chicken - bone-in, boneless and tenders...I have been experimenting with which flavors go best with each type of chicken. The Lemon Pepper flavor is AMAZING on everything (even the fries), but I love the bone-in Louisiana Rub and the boneless Atomic too. The staff did a good job educating me on my first visit that everything is cooked to order so there would be a 20 minute wait. I downloaded the app before my next visit and everything was waiting for me when I got there. I was also able to order the tenders with no sauce for my kids, even though they've taken a liking to the lemon pepper as well. Will definitely be a regular here! read more

Very disappointing. For $1 a wing I expected them to be good. I was wrong. I said when ordering that I don't want my wings extra crispy, I want them downright crunchy. The girl at the counter walked back with the ticket and made sure the fryer guy knew. XXX Crispy. What I got was what you'd expect if you'd said, "Please don't make them too crispy." I would have given Wingstop 4 stars because the food is always hot and tastes good (it's all about the mango habanero); the fries can sometimes be old tasting though. However, I'm only rating 2 stars because of consistently missing items from orders -- If you have the time, I recommend you doublecheck everything in your order before leaving the store. I've been here 6 to 8 times since they opened (always for take-out, sometimes via phone and sometimes via mobile app), and I think every order has been missing something. One time no celery, two times no fries, a third time no blue cheese, etc. Tonight came home to find my bag missing 10 wings out of a total order of 30, so everybody had to share 20 wings :( read more

The tastiest hot wings I've had in ages. In my family, some ordered mild and loved them, but I was crazy for the hot wings. After all its just chicken wings. They are smaller than Buffalo Wild Wings and they charge for everything. Want an extra sauce sure for an extra charge. Pretty solid Wingstop. I'm from the south, in Texas, where Wingstops are common. I'm glad that Wingstop has made it here to Malden. The wings here are similar to what I've had before -- however, I find the taste a bit different than other Wingstops I've had. The fries are a bit soggy, but still has the nice unique flavor. I'm just glad there is a Wingstop that is 5 minutes from where I live. If you like wings, fries, and beer, definitely check it out. read more

I called in my order, showed up to then wait in line trying to pay for 10 min while I look at my food with my name on it under a heat lamp. I called in my order for takeout. She repeated my order perfectly. After I got home from picking it up I opened the box and realized they messed up my order. I asked for Cajun, lemon pepper and spicy Korean wings instead I got teriyaki, buffalo and lemon pepper. The extra star is because at least they got that one flavor right. But this is not the first time this happened here at this Wingstop. The last time I let it slide because I always try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt and I think maybe they were really busy or something. So the first time if it's a slight mistake I try not make a big fuss. But once it happens more than once, it looks like carelessness. I've been there twice to help my friend look for a man. I noticed the buff guys from Planet Fitness stop in to get their Protein ;-) The Lemon pepper is definitely good w/ bone, but the boneless aren't worth the cost or the wait. The restaurant ran out of Hawaiian wings on my first trip so I can't say anything on it. The fries are good, the cole slaw is sub-par you can get better at KFC. Wings near Umass Amherst are definitely better, even S&S in Inman square as well. They at least give you veggies. Wing Stop kinda stingy about the carrots & celery sticks. All in all I wouldn't rule them out just yet. They just opened so I'm sure they'll kick it up when Foot Ball Season is back in action. read more

This was my first visit but I'm not going to return. The person taking the order was pleasant but clearly not volunteering information as I asked questions. As to the food: 1. The boneless tenders were more like McNuggets than solid pieces of chicken. 2. They are too small for the price. I'd contrast Ronny's in Haines Square that charges a bit less but gives you solid chicken and more of it. 3. The fellow who ordered after me, with the same basic order, received his order first. The waiting time, with only the two of us there, was beyond what I'd have expected for takeout. 4. There's no place to sit, except a window ledge, while you wait unless you want to take up one of their tables. 5. My wife, daughter and I shared the boneless chicken.Theirs was just "ok" and mine, with a different saucing, were not. Mine were dry and mostly without the flavor I ordered. The Haiwaiian was OK, flavor was nothing special and was actually still spicy for me even though there wasn't any "fire" icons next to it on the menu. I had assumed it was not spicy at all. Rubbery wings, some wings soaked in sauce and others needing to find a little sauce love. Soggy fries that I couldn't justify eating and indifferent service and a sort of sad atmosphere. There are too many restaurants and fast food places in the area that serve better wings. came here on national wing day and wow this place was bonkers. to be honest, any other place i'd not be so generous with the stars, but i was really feeling them that day. the store just opened and it was kind of obvious that they didn't really have their mojo established yet cause it was chaos. i had ordered for pick up and arrived on time but my food was really cold. like not one bit of heat remaining in those bones. also, i ordered parmesan fries but there was no parmesan on my fries. oh and the 5 free wings as part of the promotion were missing. oh and my drink cup was missing. the staff while obviously stressed were uncommonly nice and displayed A+ customer service. my 5 free wings came out quickly, and they even redid my fries. the hot wings tasted so much better cause they were crispy and the fries with the parmesan were a good call. may have been a rough experience, but i bet in a couple weeks they'll be a well oiled machine! read more
