    Boneless chicken

    1. Location, Parking & Seating Wingstop is located in a convenient spot on John Wayne Parkway. Parking is usually fine, with enough spaces available nearby. Inside, the restaurant is fairly clean, though seating is limited -- I would think not that many people typically dine in at this type of location, so it's usually sufficient. 2. Service Experience The staff does greet you when you arrive, whether for pickup or ordering in person, which is appreciated. The main issue here is order accuracy. In my experience, about 99% of the time something is wrong when I order -- whether by phone, online, or in person. I usually request well-done chicken (fried longer), and normally they'll drop it for an extra 5 minutes when asked. This last visit, I called ahead after ordering online to confirm my garlic parmesan chicken would be fried longer. They told me it was "just going down now," so I expected it to be correct. Unfortunately, when my fiancé picked up the order, they had given me boneless chicken instead of the bone-in chicken I ordered. The rest of the order was correct, but the mistake was frustrating. 3. Packaging & Food Handling Issues The first order we picked up was also poorly packaged. The takeout bag was extremely greasy, almost as if a ladle of chicken grease had been poured inside. The container holding the chicken was also coated in grease, and it had soaked through the paper bag. When we took the incorrect chicken back, that container was also very greasy across the entire lid. It looked like oil or seasoning had spilled over when everything was stacked together. A quick wipe-down before bagging would have gone a long way in making the presentation cleaner and less messy. 4. How the Mistake Was Handled I called the store, and they told me they'd speak to the manager. The manager approved remaking the order but required me to bring back the incorrect chicken so they could verify the mistake. This meant a second trip back to the store -- and they did actually take the chicken back, even though I had already taken it home and it had been handled. I honestly didn't care about keeping it, but I feel like for health and safety reasons, food that's left the store and been touched shouldn't be taken back. While I waited for the replacement, they offered me a drink, which was a nice gesture, but it didn't really justify the inconvenience. The two trips equals gas burned. My other chicken was sitting at home getting cold while everyone waited for me to return with the corrected order. When they remade the order, they gave me the correct flavor and bone-in chicken -- but it still wasn't fried longer as I had originally requested, so technically, it was still not correct. 5. Pricing Concerns Honestly, the only reason I went back this time was because they had a 20 for $20 deal. Otherwise, we've been avoiding this location because the price of chicken has gotten extremely high, and you're not even getting a whole wing anymore -- the pieces are separated and sold individually. I understand many places do this, but when you combine that with frequent order mistakes, it starts to feel like you're not getting what you pay for. 6. Consistency & Overall Experience We used to come here often, but over time the combination of wrong orders, greasy packaging, and high prices has made it less appealing. The chicken itself is really good -- the flavors are spot-on, and fresh-dropped orders taste great -- but the inconsistency keeps me from fully recommending them without caution. Final Thoughts: Wingstop on John Wayne Parkway has great flavors and fresh-tasting chicken, but pricing, order accuracy, and packaging issues take away from the experience. I'd still recommend them to an extent, especially for flavor, but go in knowing you should double-check your order before leaving. Rating: (3/5) -- Great-tasting chicken and flavors, but service and value need improvement.

I used to love Wingstop, the best fries, awesome blue cheese, and great seasonings. We went today and were highly disappointed. They barely put any seasonings on the wings. The fries are not fresh cut anymore. They said their recipes changed. Emma was very helpful at the register. I did notify her of our disappointment.

Dozen wings, a side of fried corn, one chicken sandwich, plus two containers of dressing for dipping.

Wow! If you want ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce be prepared to pay because you get none with your order of wings!

Sitting at the bar has always been a good experience for us, and the bartenders have been friendly and attentive. The food has been good overall. I have really enjoyed the beef stew. I also like the late night menu. The bologna and cheese sandwich and the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches were fun and nostalgic. I did not care for the spinach and artichoke dip. It was heavy on the spinach, light on the artichoke, and not something I would order again. On our most recent visit, our original server, an older woman who appeared to be in her late 50s, was rude enough that I asked to switch servers, which is very out of character for me as someone who has worked in the service industry. We were given another server who was very kind and attentive, and we appreciated that. When a manager came over to check on us, a woman with dark brown shoulder length hair who appeared to be in her late 30s or early 40s, she also had an attitude about the situation. That said, this has not been our typical experience there. Because it is close to home and we have had good visits before, we will definitely be back and hope it was just an off night. More of a 3 and a half stars but we're glad they are here. The managers junky attitude should be addressed quickly though.

I smelled the fried chicken from the parking lot and decided to grab some food to try out. I was excited to see chicken and waffles on their menu and knew instantly that's what I would be getting. The waffle was light and fluffy and heart shaped. Their fried tenders are seasoned nicely and, compared to other fast food fried chicken I've had, these were so good I didn't even need any sauce. When you think about other places for fried tenders, I always get their "special" sauce or something like Buffalo. I was bummed I forgot to ask for a sauce, but I didn't even need it. We also got a banana jar dessert, which is banana cream pie in a cute mason jar that I get to take home as a "free" souvenir. The banana dessert was really sweet and a nice blend of each ingredient. The girl helping at the drive thru was really nice and welcoming, and it was a great experience. We will definitely need to stop by again before flying home.

Much bigger variety of meals, desserts, and specials. You won't be disappointed.

The supposed manager is, without question, the worst part of this establishment. He speaks as…read morethough he has chewing tobacco in his mouth and, more importantly, consistently demonstrates an unacceptable lack of respect toward customers. What is especially concerning is the way he speaks to and treats women compared with the men who come into the store. My husband was the one who first pointed out how noticeably different and disrespectful his demeanor is toward female customers. I was there yesterday when another customer asked him to read the names on the multiple orders sitting in the heated holding area in an attempt to clear the lobby. Instead of assisting the customer, he said nothing, turned around, and walked to the back as though he were deliberately avoiding the situation. Meanwhile, the younger employees who work there are doing their best to keep orders moving, remain professional, and stay calm even when customers become frustrated or escalated. Their behavior is far more appropriate for a leadership role than the man who currently claims to be the manager. If management is looking for someone who actually knows how to treat customers, communicate respectfully, and handle pressure, they should seriously consider promoting one of those young men rather than continuing to put customers through this experience. And if you're a DoorDash driver, don't expect any better treatment. To this man, apparently, you mean absolutely nothing. The way he treats delivery drivers is more dismissive and disrespectful than other customers.
