Sagelynn was so friendly and very helpful as this was my first time ever trying a wing stop. I asked her what were her favorite sauces and she stated that she has dietary restrictions so she doesn't eat there as much as she'd like to. She did go over the most popular though. She showed me portion sizes and I wanted wet hot honey and before she bagged my food, she showed me them and educated me on their rub and hot honey. The restaurant was clean, smelled delicious and the music was feel good (Jackson 5). Once my food came up, she told me where everything was placed in the bag. Amazing service!!! My only complaint would be not only cold but old fries. I won't hold it against them though. The wings were nice and fresh. This is a total sidebar but a gentleman came in for an interview and she was so kind and courteous with him also. For some reason, this place never lives up to the brand. The staff are usually teenagers with very little experience and no customer skills. Service is slow and almost always with mistakes. Checking your order before leaving is a necessity here. The wings are priced on the high side and are just OK. Nothing special about them at all. Inside, the restaurant is fairly clean, though seating is limited -- I would think not that many people typically dine in at this type of location, so it's usually sufficient. 2. Service Experience The staff does greet you when you arrive, whether for pickup or ordering in person, which is appreciated. The main issue here is order accuracy. In my experience, about 99% of the time something is wrong when I order -- whether by phone, online, or in person. I usually request well-done chicken (fried longer), and normally they'll drop it for an extra 5 minutes when asked. This last visit, I called ahead after ordering online to confirm my garlic parmesan chicken would be fried longer. They told me it was "just going down now," so I expected it to be correct. Unfortunately, when my fiancé picked up the order, they had given me boneless chicken instead of the bone-in chicken I ordered. The rest of the order was correct, but the mistake was frustrating. 3. Packaging & Food Handling Issues The first order we picked up was also poorly packaged. The takeout bag was extremely greasy, almost as if a ladle of chicken grease had been poured inside. The container holding the chicken was also coated in grease, and it had soaked through the paper bag. When we took the incorrect chicken back, that container was also very greasy across the entire lid. It looked like oil or seasoning had spilled over when everything was stacked together. A quick wipe-down before bagging would have gone a long way in making the presentation cleaner and less messy. 4. How the Mistake Was Handled I called the store, and they told me they'd speak to the manager. The manager approved remaking the order but required me to bring back the incorrect chicken so they could verify the mistake. This meant a second trip back to the store -- and they did actually take the chicken back, even though I had already taken it home and it had been handled. I honestly didn't care about keeping it, but I feel like for health and safety reasons, food that's left the store and been touched shouldn't be taken back. While I waited for the replacement, they offered me a drink, which was a nice gesture, but it didn't really justify the inconvenience. The two trips equals gas burned. My other chicken was sitting at home getting cold while everyone waited for me to return with the corrected order. When they remade the order, they gave me the correct flavor and bone-in chicken -- but it still wasn't fried longer as I had originally requested, so technically, it was still not correct. 5. Pricing Concerns Honestly, the only reason I went back this time was because they had a 20 for $20 deal. Otherwise, we've been avoiding this location because the price of chicken has gotten extremely high, and you're not even getting a whole wing anymore -- the pieces are separated and sold individually. I understand many places do this, but when you combine that with frequent order mistakes, it starts to feel like you're not getting what you pay for. 6. Consistency & Overall Experience We used to come here often, but over time the combination of wrong orders, greasy packaging, and high prices has made it less appealing. The chicken itself is really good -- the flavors are spot-on, and fresh-dropped orders taste great -- but the inconsistency keeps me from fully recommending them without caution. Final Thoughts: Wingstop on John Wayne Parkway has great flavors and fresh-tasting chicken, but pricing, order accuracy, and packaging issues take away from the experience. The chicken sandwich was nice and crispy with mild sauce and pickles on it and I added some of the included ranch dressing (of which there was plenty provided). I'd really like to give 2.5 stars. When I get delivery I'm always missing a drink, my side of carrots or extra ranch that I paid for. WITHOUT FAIL. I've started to do pick up instead and had better luck since I can check the order before I leave but still most times missing an item or the wings are not well done. I want to shoutout Amy and the black guy with dreads who always go above and beyond to assist and check for accuracy. Atmosphere - Office supplies and cleaning supplies sitting on a table and the dine in pickup window was full of stuff.  Do not worry they brought the food out to the customers dining in.  They do have a large out door dining area that was nice. Food Fries - Order of fries needed the microwave after getting home.  Over salted is the best way to describe them. 20 Original Hot - Overcooked, best one word description.  Dry and crunch wings, parts that I could not eat.  Sauceless, so if you are looking for mess free wing these are the ones to go with.  The sauce was cooked into the wing.  To me the last step of a wing should be coming out of the fryer into large bowl of your sauce of choice and tossed until coated.  That did not happen.  I had to grab my own Frank's hot sauce from the fridge, a little time in the microwave, this provided me a dipping sauce.  My wife ordered the Spicy Korean, 3 flame heat index same as my wings.  Mine were a zero on my heat index, my wife's Spicy Korean was a perfect amount of heat.  These wings were my main dinner thus the low score for food. 10 Spicy Korean - My wife's choice, I stole one early in dinner and later finished them off for her.  Nicely cooked and dripping with sauce.  Heat level was where you would expect on 3 out of 5. So with the opening of WingStop, that makes about 675 fast food parlors in Maricopa. JK. Excellent locale, right on the pike...or main strip. Bright lights, adorable seating (cynicism, satire)....most of all, friendly staff that actually laughed at my jokes and sarcasm. Big points. Well, the food looked amazing...my squad kill't it!! According to their slobbered up kissers and grimaces and sauced up digits....5 stars was the trend. So we'll go with that. The parmesan fries were off the heazy...carrots and celery were delish. I have yet to find a well priced fast food chicken wing joint that doesn't sacrifice taste. I don't think it's too much to ask... being from Minnesota we don't have Wingstop's and a friend recommended it cause I'm a chicken wing fiend. Super super disappointed! The wings were fairly dry, you get charged for extra sauce or sauce on the side, it took forever to get our food, and it's about the same price as Buffalo Wild Wings. To add to the mediocre food, unlike BWW you also don't have giant TV's to watch your favorite ball players. Suppose it's a plus for people who want a quiet similar-to-Burger King kind of meal, but I would even take a double cheeseburger over these wings honestly.
