First, I want to review the product, not this specific location the 3 stars is for the location. I tried two of the four possible new papa johns papadias. These new products are mediocre at best. This new product as you can see from the photos posted are very light on the sauce, therefore, making them very dry. You may also notice they're light on cheese and topping as well. This new rollout is $6 each, most definitely not worth the cost. Papa Johns doesn't have the $5 menu like other pizza chains currently do. If they did it would maybe be worth the $5 from that type of menu. Second, taste, In my opinion, if this product had more sauce it would improve the papadia dramatically. The papadias taste like a pizza with no sauce(yes I know it actually is a small pizza folded in half). It's MEH. So my conclusion to this product is average, nothing special and definitely not worth the price. read more

Food was undercooked, service was horrible because they wouldn't answer the phone so I had to go up there and then when I got up there, they tried to argue with me about it. I could clearly tell that everyone was under the influence of something. And was told that they don't have to answer the phone that's why the phone was still ringing, even when I arrived. They were all on their phone, there was no sense of urgency. I will be calling again to make sure the manager knows in the morning. ON TOP of that, there were pizza boxes on the floor of the restaurant!!! disgusting, this place will be closed soon. read more

Papa John's used to always be a solid pizza for a cheap family meal. The last few pizzas we've ordered had very sparse toppings and always seem to be undercooked in the center. There are better options around for the money. read more

Papa Johns Pizza - Shaqaroni pizza. Plenty of pepperoni. Love the staff. - Pizza Near Me - Maricopa, Arizona

Used to love Papa John's pizza. Long time customer from the 90's. You could order regular pizza, just cheese and pepperoni, had plenty of each and it was always tasty and had a good amount of cheese. Last 3 times I have ordered I always order extra cheese and extra sauce, and pay the extra cheese fee. Never do we get extra sauce, or cheese. Always order it well done or it is undercooked on the dough and it is just horrible. We did not eat half the pizza. Loved their dough points but I would rather get tombstone than free pizza from here. This franchise as a whole has slipped and we will not order from here again. read more

Came in for an online order tonight. This location has a pretty unprofessional crew. Music blasting with inappropriate language. Crew cussing with customers waiting in store. I used to work for Papa John's back in 2004-2013. We were always required to wear the Papa John's hats when working. Guess that got thrown out the window here. Some of the insiders on the makeline like to cough in their hands and continue making pizzas. One crew member scratched his head while making food. To management: Please work on hiring a better quality crew. No one here shows any ounce of professionalism. read more

Food was ok. Customer service was GARBAGE. Some punk kid with NO NAME TAG and a horrible attitude "helped" me. Didn't greet me and simply said "what's your name?", like he was annoyed. Isn't customer service your job? Will never be back. Don't want to inconvenience you. read more

horrible experience at the Maricopa location not just once but twice this last time resulting in Veronica, the manager, screaming at me scaring my eight-year-old. She told me she had made the pizza herself which looking at the label and pizza and described pizza is completely wrong . But then for a manager to scream at a customer, i'm sorry not acceptable!!! She is a dangerous person who in her voice is filled with hate ! I have been a very loyal customer from phoenix, goodyear and laveen again never have I had this issue or aggressive customer service . Also I forgot to mention she hung up on me surprisingly and now keeps ending my calls! I had to call casa grande to get GM info!!! read more

We order our bundle special and they forgot the cheesesticks. So we have to wait another 30 to 40 min just to get our cheese stick. By the time we got home our pizza was cold and we couldn't enjoy our pizza. Pizza not good. I will not be returning as the wait for the food takes forever. read more

Was pretty disappointed with our pizza today. None of our 4 kids even wanted to eat it. Had tons of sauce and very little cheese. Im surprised they let that fly. Ended up throwing most of it away. read more

Horrible service. Ordered food to be delivered. 2 hours later we find out they gave it to someone else. Spoke with the "manager" after waiting on hold for 25 minutes and she told me they won't give me my money back and hung up on me. Horrible customer service! We usually order weekly but will no longer. Calling corporate tomorrow. read more

This place is ridiculous they never answer the phone their direct line sends you to customer service who can't do anything for this location and when they transfer you to the manager the call just ends. I placed an online order and it said it would take 67-78 mins to be delivered so I tried to cancel it but I could never get a hold of the store. read more

Papa Johns Pizza - My order in which I tried to get a refund. - Pizza Near Me - Maricopa, Arizona

Worst customer service. Went to pick up my order. Had all the employees look up when I came in and not one acknowledged I was there. Stood there for about 10 minutes patiently waiting for someone to assist me. Employees glanced my way a couple more times but not one of them said be right with you. I finally asked an employee who got close enough to me if they could help me. I had to ask twice before they all looked at each other and finally selected one to be sacrificed to help me. I mean seriously? You have a store front, you still have to help customers no matter how busy you are. Luckily my pizza tasted fine... read more

This place was horrible. We ordered a pizza, cheese bread and brownie. The pizza and cheese bread tasted like someone poured a ton of cologne on them. You could taste it in every bite. It made our tongues burn. We ended up throwing them away. We are definitely not ever going back to this location. I recommend staying away for this Papa John's and getting pizza from somewhere else. read more

Ordered pizza and this is what we got. They offered to send another pizza. Being that I was feeding my children with it, while I appreciate the offer, I had to wait an additional hour for IT to show up. Not a good experience. Would have been better if they ruined the pepperoni side. But the kids side?!?! Come on guys! Kids left hungry on movie/pizza night = No good! read more

The sales associate refused to honor what the price was showing online. Nowhere in the fine print does it state that it has to be an online order? I can see why this place is rated low. read more

Gross. Pizza looked like someone sent back or maybe dropped a pizza and they added some random cheese, mushrooms and hair for good luck. Nice cuts too pizza guru's. Pass on this place. read more

Papa Johns Pizza - So I can't tell if it was dropped or not but was the person cutting the slices new to the pizza business? - Pizza Near Me - Maricopa, Arizona

Ordered a 4 pizza dinner and 1 was horrible. It had extra cheese but got extra sauce too, had bell peppers on it and they did not cook. Along with the order the Papa John's pizza tracker stated it was out for delivery and I waited 25mins for it.. it stated 36-45 mins for the order but in total it was 1hr 10mins. Called in after waiting outside for 25 min all they could say is they have no drivers. To bad they just lost more of my business read more

Laura helped me out today as I was placing my order for carry out and I was using a coupon that was not popping up but she went above and beyond and took my order and honored my coupon. Overall basic pizza right? It's always decent and consistent, at least in my experience. I've ordered from this location a handful of times and never had any issues. Tonight I ordered delivery and unfortunately it was going to be a little over 90 minutes before they could deliver. I decided to cancel because I didn't want to wait that long. Things happen, people get sick, places get busy, whatever, I wasn't upset. When I called, the young man who answered immediately started apologizing and let me know he only had one driver that night and he'd refund my card and he hoped I'd give them another shot and just continued to apologize. I told him it wasn't a big deal and its not his fault and of course I'd come back. You could just tell he'd been screamed at by some Karen's and Kens, and was doing his best to take care of the customers, despite him not being personally responsible for the delivery time. It's PIZZA folks get over yourself. If this is the only method you have of feeding yourself and/or your family you have bigger problems than a delivery time that happened to be longer than normal. If you are the type of person to call and scream at another human being over pizza delivery times you are an actual POS and I can recommend a good mental health expert for you. read more

Normally we love papa John's but it's getting worse each time we get it. I got a pizza today and the sauce tasted like they dumped it straight from the can. No seasoning, nothing. The black olives tasted like they were bad and the mushrooms tasted exactly like the black olives. I'm not buying pizza from here anymore. Barros is more expensive but at least it tastes like a pizza instead of hot garbage. read more

Thank you to Gwendolyn for going above and beyond to make my daughter feel great for her perfect attendance. The internet was having issues and after it taking longer than expected she definitely took care of us! Also thank you to the sweet older man who delivered our dinner! He informed me that I had over paid what the total was but I told him thank you for being honest and willing to give money back but the rest was for him since his manager (Gwendolyn) showed amazing customer service! This was our first time ordering from them since moving here and definitely will be going back! Thank you again and thank you for the speedy hot fresh pizza and breadsticks! read more

This place probably just earned my business for life all with one act of generosity. I work in the valley and on this day I forgot my wallet. Driving home which I live SE of Maricopa fifteen minutes. It being almost 9pm I forgot I forgot my wallet lol go figure right as I walk thru he door the nice guy is polite asking me my name and about to hand me my pizza. I stop him and kind of chuckle and say first tell me I can call my wife and have her pay over the phone. He chuckles and says yeah for sure but I will do you one better and hands me my pizza and a bottle of water which was what I ordered. I kindly said he didn't need to do that and he stopped me and said no really it's on the house happy new year (Jan 2nd 2020') Papa Johns should give this man a raise heck I might even try and hire him, that sincerity and kindnesses so hard to find thank you kind man you really made my night Maybe my year. read more

Ugh so greasy... we just ate a pizza and wings from here. It was full of grease, the crust was burnt and the wings seemed barely cooked. I'm pretty sure they use frozen cheese. I've only ever seen cheese crack and crumble like that from a frozen grocery pizza. Plus it's so over priced. I could go to Papa Murphy's and get fresh everything, cook it at home for half the price and it's delicious. Gross, never again. read more

I ordered a few pizzas from here and got two large two-topping pizzas for a total of 30. Then I called back two hours later to order 3 more and they charged me $60. I called back to ask why and one of the idiots said "oh because you didn't ask for a special deal." I hadn't asked for one the other time I ordered so I didn't see why I had to the second time. Tim is the worst with customer service. His bad attitude and ignorant service make him unworthy. I really hope that this successful business gets rid of wasteful employees such as him. read more

Pretty decent for a chain, always fast service and order is always correct. Normally can have pizza to my door in under 30 minutes and the prices are good during their promos.
