Great pizza at a fair price. Quality ingredients it's the best place in town. I recommend the chicken bacon artichoke.

Atmosphere - 5 stars Food - 5 stars Service - 100 stars Background - Thursday during work I had a weird craving, pizza from Papa Murphy's. I told my wife later. I think she took that as a hint that she was not making dinner Friday night. Atmosphere - Right next to Basha's so it is easy to find. They have a few spots up front for you to park so it is very easy. This is the largest Papa Murphy's I had been too, waiting area. Since there was only one other customer finishing up it was not a big issue here. Food - I love their salami, so I ordered my half salami and the other half mushroom for my wife. I love how they layer their pizza. Sauce, followed by healthy amount of cheese, meats and veggies, and a cheese blend on top. That extra layer of cheese helps keeping the toppings where they should be. I did eat about half of my wife's half. Yes I was a pig eating three fourths of the pizza. It was so good, just as I remember. It was probably the first time since COVID start, and my first time picking up a pizza at this location. Take and bake does require some planning. You need to have an oven and pizza cutter or large knife. Best part is you cook it to your liking, I used the full time of 18 minutes at 425°, nice golden brown on the edges. Perfect. Service - While doing this review I realized I am an idiot and Papa Murphy's customer services skills are amazing!! I will not go into details on how I was an idiot as I need to protect the business. Yes they earned 100 starts today for it!! Future - 100 stars for their Service earns a lot more visits. read more

I had a terrible service experience at this location and I hope that anyone who's had the same experience please report it. The MANAGER (short with a long unkept beard) at this location is out of control ( I got the impression he's off his meds) scary anger issues. I'm not sure why he was SO UPSET but it was uncomfortable and very upsetting. The way he thinks he can speak to a customer who is literally just trying to pay for a pizza. Is beyond me From the moment I placed my order his tone was intolerable. His tone was worse when I went in to p/u the pizza. At that moment I decided Not to continue paying and proceeded to walk out THIS MADE HIM FURIOUS As I'm leaving he's shouting that I'm leaving without my pizza for dinner and to have a very nice evening in the crazy angriest tone possible. Ugh!! As I turn back to ask who the manager is he's yelling for me to leave HIS store or he's calling the cops?! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION!! Clean and normally friendly. Today I made a mistake on my online pizza order and did not order 2 toppings for the 2 topping pizza. I did not realize it, I thought it came with the pepperoni and so I added the onions. Well, forgive me. They were making it when my husband got there and the guy through a royal fit and argued with my husband. He stated it would ruin his inventory to add the pepperoni. This same guy who now states it would ruin his inventory if he added the pepperoni. A few months ago. Told us if we tip him good, he'll add more toppings on our pizza. We refused him because we happy with what we order that time. Papa Murphy's customer service motto is: "SERVICE We create positive experiences while being empathetic to guests and each other"... We mostly do Papa Murphy's on our Pizza Friday! Normally my husband gets the pies. Today, my child wanted pizza now so we went! We love their $5 pies! I need gluten free:-( The nice young Lady behind the counter made my pie fresh with fresh ingredients, not touched, so we can make sure the cross contamination is minimal! She apologized for the wait and we got Military Discount! I can only say "Thank you so much! I dislike my food allergy and I am happy when people understand it! New is their $5 Smore Pie. Pizza was way over salted, almost no sauce and the crust was very dry. Ruined the meal for my family and I.

They were really nice when I went in and the place was very clean. The only thing was that I got a cheesy bread and it seems like they made it with the wrong dough or they ran out of the right dough and made it with pizza dough. Was very upsetting. read more

This is as good as take and bake pizza gets as far as I know, I think the franchise in Maricopa is on par with every other that I have ordered from. If you want to make your pizza better than you have ever had it add extra sauce, if you like a hawaiian order a stuffed Hawaiian, you will never order it on any other crust again. The last trick to make it great is to brush the crust with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic salt! YUM! read more

This is a first for me... So the take & bake pie was okay, been here before, but, I have a real issue with national chains that op-out of advertised deals. If I see a $7.99 pizza special on TV and drive to the location and they have chosen not participate...no deal, no special even close...Bad Business! I observed that any operation this short sighted will cut corners in other ways, such as food safety and cleanliness to save a buck as well. This time I just walked out. Ordered online. 2 pizzas and chocolate chip cookie dough. My son picked up. Cane home with pizzas only. I live 15 miles from store. Called. I am not driving back for the cookie dough. They refuse to refund. Asked for district phone number, they dont know it. I will find it. They just lost a customer. read more

Hi, I had a recent experience at the location in Maricopa Arizona. I reached out to this location regarding a urgent matter regarding food safety and the level of disrespect from the management was unbelievable. The manager that I spoke to was extremely non compliant, rude, and lead to him yelling at me. He pushed my food safety concern as it was absolutely nothing. He refused to give me his name and threatened me that I had 7 seconds until he would hang up on me. Please reach out to me for more of this feedback as It could lead to detrimental concerns with guest services. I would like to just look out for the best interest of the the owner/franchisee of this location. I would think they absolutely would want to know if one of their employees were treating customers in this manner. I have recording of part of the conversation as I was the most shocked I've ever been. By far the worst I've EVER been treated at any establishment ever. read more

This Papa Murphys store in Maricopa makes a great pizza for us every time. I think it's the best pizza around.

Usually good service, not so much last time. This post is about a week and a half old as I was waiting to be contacted by the store, never happened. Walked in at 7:35pm, clearly a slow night as it looked like the store had already been cleaned. So I ask politely, "are you still open" to the young lady sweeping. After a VERY loud sigh and slowly checking her watch she said "yes, for 10 more minutes.". I knew stores stopped taking phone orders at the :45 mark, but close? I told her thanks, I could see they were closing. She responded with a very unenthusiastic "it's ok". I decided to leave assuming the quality of pizza would be lacking after this encounter. I've been there, literally, working at a pizza place thinking you'll close early and someone walks in. I get it. There is no reason to be rude though when I come in DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS. I contacted corporate, who apologized and gave me the weekly 20% off $20 code and said the franchise would be in contact. Thanks? Here we are. No contact. We order from here all the time. I love that everything is fresh and made to order. My daughter is a vegan and we can even get something for her and that didn't happen often lol. The staff at Papa Murphy's are always so nice and Shay's have a nice smile on their face and greet you with a warm smile. Food always taste great! read more
