It's been ages since we had a PM pizza, and first time for this location. Had a coupon for the Outlaw pizza - BBQ pork and Fritos. We had phoned in an order and was told 15 minutes. It took us almost 20 to get there and was told it wasn't ready. Waited another 10 minutes. But let me tell you, those three employees were hustling- it was Saturday night and the three people in front of me had huge orders - one 8 pizzas, the others 5 each. We picked up a side salad. I drove 20 minutes for pizza... just to be handed raw ingredients and a dream. Nobody warned me I signed up for a cooking class?? I opened the box expecting cheesy, hot, ready-to-devour happiness... and got a DIY project instead. The cashier said this happens all the time and honestly... I believe her because WHY is this a thing Apparently this place is "take and bake," meaning you take it home and cook it yourself Cool. Love that for everyone with an oven. I do not have an oven. Pizza makers were quick & efficient. Store was clean. Cashier acted as though it was a total hassle to take my easy, no customization order. I tipped $5 cash on a $23 dollar charge since its Dec 23rd & I empathize with retail service workers during this season esp. I was the only customer in the store, just three employees chatting quietly together. I was friendly & asked if there were any holiday specials. Said I'd been looking forward to some pizza. Pretty much got glared at. I will be reaching out to franchise owner re: my experience. After I placed my order I watched the cashier give similar zero star service to them. What gives? I get having a bad day, but this was pretty off putting. Turns out that there's a PMurphys in Marana, so if I decide to have some more of PMs I'll drive that way. Otherwise I will be avoiding this location in lieu of other places that give good service. It bears mentioning that I've reviewed quite a few PMurphs over my 14 years yelping, sometimes even raving about this chain. But you know what they say about bad apples. In today's consumer climate, it's a bad decision to let customer service fall to the wayside. I should mention that the woman making the pizzas was nice & helpful. For her and the pizza I'll give one star each. For the rest, 0 stars. Maybe the cashier should make pizzas and the pizza maker should talk to people?? Papa Murphy's - Not a great experience - Pizza Near Me - Casa Grande, Arizona

10.03.22 I stopped in for a large regular crust Cowboy Pizza. The crust came out of the fridge and was very thin. I asked if it was a regular crust and the server said it was. I cooked it per instructions. The crust was hard on the edges and soggy everywhere else. It appeared to me that the dough was old. I am disappointed in this product. I will contact the manager tomorrow. I probably will not buy any in the future. read more

This place was fire! Stumbled upon it while visiting family. Ordered a meat stuffed pizza and cheese bread. The baking instructions were on point and the crunch, taste, proportions and overall presentation was beautiful. Cannot wait to order again! read more

I love the concept and $5.99 for a one topping pizza made to order. How can yoU go wrong. Not the best pizza I've ever had but good. Love the chicken, bacon and artichoke. I bought a jar of herb and cheese for the house. Salads are usually pretty fresh and the cookie dough is pretty good to. read more

Update...manager NEVER called us back so when my husband called he talked to an assistant manager who said he would leave word with the employees and to come back that evening (last night 3/9/17) and get another pizza. We get there and he didn't leave a note and the female employee said "he's a liar, he never leaves us notes"...seriously...she also informed me that the white sauce that was on the Gourmet Vegetarian didn't have the garlic in it like it was supposed to. She also tried to say it was grease not water.....hello....it was a veggie pizza. Horrible customer service and no responsibility. They did not refund us the difference in money for our ruined pizza which is THEFT. They talk bad about the assistant manager to customers, they yell at each other in front of customers,, they make excuses instead of taking responsibility for their mistakes and they steal your money. Went and ordered a gourmet vegetarian minus artichokes add black olives, which is my usual. I have never had a pizza so water logged. I cooked it like normal and when it came out of the oven there was so much water on it that the crust on top could not even cook but the crust on the bottom is done. What the he**!? Are they soaking their veggies in water and not draining them. We called them and offered to bring it nack so they could see it and where told there was nothing they could do without a manager...really??? That is your level of customer service???? Not to mention that one employee was yelling at another while we where in there. Horrible food prep and horrible customer service. read more

Im giving just three stars only because the price listed on Yelp for the Cowboy Pizza shows $15.99, but the actual price is $19.99. I called the store about the price discrepancy and they apologized and said they would look into it. Other then that the pizza was excellent. read more

I first tried to order online. I was unable to garner any discount after several attempts. So, I decided I would ask for the senior discount on location at the take out. I brought my AARP card. At the take out I asked how one goes about getting the coupons delivered to my residence in the mail that I have received and used for years in different cities where I lived? The clerk informed me that he would put a discount coupon in the pizza I ordered - not usable at that time and wasn't the answer to my question. I then inquired about the senior discount listed online and produced my AARP membership card (I'm 65). The clerk said he would not be able to give me a the senior discount at which time with no explanation as to why. I produced several expired coupons and again requested how did I go about getting on their mailing list. He repeated that he wouldn't give me a discount. Since he had difficulty understanding plain spoken English and wasn't able or willing to answer the most basic of questions I turned around and left. I've eaten a ton of Papa Murphy's pizzas over the years and was pretty disappointed in this young man's attitude and or lack of basic customer service. I've never been refused a discount there and I would have accepted the fact if had simply put forth a reason for not doing so. Last time I visited this store a couple of month's ago the clerk was super accommodating, personable and courteous. The clerk I spoke with on September 4th about 5:30pm was the complete opposite. read more

Great job of well prepared pizzas. Ingredients out to edge of the crust...no shortage. Online order timely. Brought out to our car (curbside pickup). This was our first use of Casa Grande Papa Murphy's. We frequent a PM regularly in Oregon and this was as consistent. Recommend. read more

Have loved papa Murphy's since day one. Everything is so fresh and taste amazing, their pizza is definitely one of a kind.

A very reasonable place to get decent fresh food especially if you have a coupon. My only gripes are the workers seem slow to give clear answers to fairly easy questions ( happened three times) and they don't even give you crush peppers upon request as you have to buy them. Great place to go if you don't feel like cooking nor going out to eat. Very clean place and workers don't even get you toppings without a fresh set of gloves. read more

When I was stationed in Arkansas the family and I would go a couple times a week for pizza made in front of us...We moved out here and found the place in casa grande and we gave it a few tries,not bad it's the same tasting when we cook it and the prices are Abit higher here but,still worth it.If we had the money for it every week we would but, sense I retired we had to cut back on alot of things.As for the staff what do I really care on attitudes as long as my foods fixed right with no issues, I'm not a bleeding heart lib like most out here today, wouldn't bother me if they didn't speak,just fixed and served the food correctly...lol read more

My gf and I had been talking about trying Papa's for the longest time. Since moving to AZ we've had nothing but dissapointment when it came to finding a good pizza, with the exception of one other place. Finally we tried it and we have been missing out. The guy on the phone was very helpful and nice to talk to. I ordered the all meat stuffed pizza and the cheese bread. Both were very, very good. The pizza baked perfectly in our oven as did the cheese bread. It took a little longer than the directions suggested but that was no big deal and we like our pizza cripsy anyway. My only complaint was that there didn't seem to be very much sauce on the pizza, but that did not stop us from "stuffing" ourselves with it. We will definately order it again (plus extra sauce please). read more

5 stars for their s'mores pizza!!!!! The $4 salad is delicious and enough for two people to split. Love their stuffed 5 meat pizza. So much goodness, can't go wrong read more
