Love this location and my kids LOVE their GF pizza. While they are not a CGF establishment- there have never been any CC issues.

Bella Gusto Urban Pizzeria - Shrimp Scampi

Bella Gusto Urban Pizzeria

Ended up choosing Bella Gusto Urban Pizzeria for a last minute birthday reservation. We arrived a…read morelittle early for our reservation for a party of six and a baby and were seated immediately. The staff was friendly and attentive and took our drink orders before the rest of the party arrived. We started with an appetizer who's name escapes me and it's not online or in any of the recent pictures, but it's basically fried "dough balls" which actually end up being more like curly strips with some garlic and truffle flavor and a side of a marinara type sauce, we put in an order for two of those and they disappeared with a quickness, I couldn't get enough of them, they were sooo good! Think of a savory, truffled funnel cake, but WAY better! The menu had a wide array of italian style dishes from pasta to gnocchi and several specials including seafood, specialty pizzas and drinks. Given "Urban Pizzeria" is in the name most of us opted to try some of the pizzas. The pizza's come in two different varieties of Neapolitan style, the "Bianca" which has no tomato sauce and relies on the fresh mozzarella as a base, and the "Rossa" which is your more traditional San Marzano tomato sauce base. Wife and I both leaned into the "Bianca" offerings, with me ordering the Santa Merda (Fresh mozzarella, spicy soppressata, calabrian chile, bacon jam, caramelized onions, habanero honey) and my wife the Flavortown (Fresh mozzarella, caramelized onions, mushrooms, spicy soppressata, pecorino Romano, and white truffle oil). Both pies arrived fresh out of the amazing wood fired pizza oven. The crust is incredibly thin and delicious, and the combination of toppings on each pizza was phenomenal, I really was blown away by how good these pizzas were and it took a lot of willpower to not down a whole pie in one sitting. My son and his wife split the spaghetti and meatballs and the classic Mary Margherita pizza which were both also amazing. The meatballs have the perfect consistency you'd expect from a great meatball and the seasoning was perfect. I was lucky enough to be sitting next to my son's Father-in-Law who ordered the scallop risotto and while I didn't try it (regretfully) it smelled divine and there was NOTHING left on that plate when he was done. We finished up with a few orders of the sticky toffee cake to share amongst the table and if you sleep on that dessert shame on you. This was our first visit and we were super impressed by the service, the friendly staff and the quality and portions of food. The beer and wine selection was great and I definitely plan to try some cocktails during our next visit. Luckily, this place is close to home so we intend to do a LOT of more extensive research here. Very highly recommended.

The pizza here is genuinely good. Fresh ingredients and a nice crust…read more But the restaurant has a big "No Ranch" sign and when I asked for ranch I was told they don't serve it. That's totally their choice, but the way it's displayed feels a little pretentious and made me feel weird for even asking. Ranch with pizza is extremely common. Good pizza, but the attitude around something that simple felt unnecessary.

The sauce was bland and that is not something that you can look past on this specific dish. Unfortunately, this was the only Italian dish that I tried from there so I feel like in order for me to be fair. I will go back and try something else and update my review at that time. With that being said, I still give this place five stars based on all of the below. Now for the good part! The Sicilian style pizza is freaking amazing! I'm sure you want details about this so here it is the pizza dough is so light and airy with a crispy crust, the crust is fantastic cannot even emphasize this enough. I'm telling you the airiness of this. Pizza just doesn't even make sense, but it works and you should have some. Here's a little note about our appetizer we ordered calamari. The breading was great. The calamari was slightly overcooked, but overall it was good. The location is awesome! Our table was located just beyond the double doors and made for a very lovely ambience. I would say the lighting is perfect. The outdoor scenery made the experience even better. We plan to go back sooner rather than later, and I'll keep you posted about some more Italian dishes from here

There were misters going outside for parties that want to be outside. The AC was on inside and felt great. We ordered the bruschetta board (giardino, funghi, and carciofi) and the meatball appetizer. The appetizers took less than 10 minutes to come out. The meatballs were good! It came with 3 meatballs and 3 small corners of toasted bread. The ricotta under the meatballs was a great add to the plate. Overall, they were solid. The bruschetta was a swing and a miss. The funghi was quickly deemed our least favorite. We both took one bite and did not finish the rest. The carciofi was decent. Nothing special. The giardino was so simple that it was not memorable, and it was still our favorite anyway. Overall, we would not recommend the bruschetta. Our server was kind and quick to help. The restaurant overall was nice inside.

We got here around 4 ish, right before the crowd slowly started to trickle in. As soon as we sat on the outside patio we were quickly greeted by the server, hate that I forgot her name because she was great! We started with some wine & beer as we were deciding. We ended up starting with the burrata & fresh sliced steak tomatoes with balsamic drizzled on top... everything was delish without drowning in the glaze! Then we got the Meatball Hero Pizza, oh my it was some of the best... love the basil with the sweet & spicy peppers definite keeper! Then we got the smoked wings... OMG you can taste the grill on them & perfectly cooked without being burned, our server brought us a sampling of the sauces since we had a hard time deciding! Thank goodness that's all we ordered because we didn't want to leave too full since we were going to the outlets, so we ended up with some leftovers for a light dinner ;) Overall we loved everything about Craft 64 & we'll definitely be making it back there on our next visit to the outlets!

I had the Meatball sub which had the perfect ration of meatball to bread and sauce and melty cheese. Could not have been better. Sis had Spaghetti and meatballs, also very good. Great sauce. 2nd meal. We ordered the upside down Sicilian pizza with meatballs which was impressive. The lite bready crust was delicious and cheesy and sauce. The real winner that meal though was the pasta-Linguine Gamberi E Salsiccia. Fat juicy shrimp, sliced sausage, tomato, peas and a creamy wine sauce, terrible pic taken because we couldn't wait to dig in. It was so, so yummy. We did have the antipasta salad with balsamic dressing which was also phenominal.

We've been here numerous times, and not once have we had a bad experience. From the hosts to the servers, bartenders, and management--everyone is consistently welcoming, attentive, and professional. It's the kind of place that makes you feel taken care of without being over the top. One thing I really appreciate is how well they handle all types of dining. Whether you're stopping in for a quick slice at the counter, sitting down for a full meal, or grabbing something to go, they always have a wide variety of fresh slices ready. There's never a shortage of options, which makes it easy to try something new--or stick with your favorites. Lately, I've been loving the chicken Caesar slice and the chicken carbonara slice--both packed with flavor and perfectly balanced. I had my eye on their taco slice this time, but ended up going with my go-to: the Chicken Francese. I always add artichokes and capers and have it served over spinach, and it's phenomenal every single time. It's one of those dishes you just don't mess with. We started the table with calamari, garlic knots, and arancini--everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly what you want from classic Italian starters. My son ordered the antipasto salad with added chicken, which was a great portion (especially for an active teen) and full of fresh ingredients. We also grabbed a couple of slices, including pepperoni--because honestly, why mess with perfection? It's always solid. Sal's is just one of those places you can count on. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere every time. It's definitely in our regular rotation--and for good reason.

I love the wall of colored bottles, and the large round lighting fixtures above the round bar is pretty cool. Didn't miss the storm trooper on the barrels in the corner! We arrived during happy hour and ordered a couple of drinks and snacks off the happy hour menu, as well as something off the regular food menu. We started with the unnamed drink of the day, which was really yummy. It was fruity and kinda sweet (not TOO sweet), made with tequila, I think. We ordered the nachos, which were really good. They are made with potato chips (possibly house made??) instead of tortilla chips. Nice touch, as I would always rather have potato chips. We also ordered boneless buffalo wings. They were okay, nothing special, and kind of small. But they were fine. Finally, we ordered the Green chili pork Mac and cheese. I had seen this on the menu and was really looking forward to it. Wow was I disappointed. What little flavor it did have, I didn't like. We left most of it uneaten. Big kudos to our server/bartender. She was friendly, helpful, and the perfect amount of attentive. I do want to return and try food off of the regular menu, as 2/3 of our order was of the happy hour snackies menu.
