When I went back to return the order the lack of customer service and management was bad. I was told I had to wait until other orders were filled to make my order over. The cook was shaking his head no like he didn't want to redo it or he couldn't while the other staff just looked confused. In my previous experiences, I had no major issues with this Wing Stop or any Wing Stops for that matter but my last experience here was horrible. I rather go to the Bayfair one or the Union City ones next time even though this location has a little faster wait time compared to the other locations. This particular day (about 2 and a half months ago) I wanted Wing Stop. Anyway, it probably would have been better going to Wing Fiesta honestly even though I prefer Wing Stop. The service's horrible here and I know that you don't go to these kind of places for service but these younger people working here don't even know basic customer service and they look like they want to be anywhere but here. I was the only one in line and there was only one other table dining in. I was looking over the menu to decide what to get and the two workers (a younger guy and a younger girl) literally rolled their eyes at each other like I wouldn't see it and just their whole demeanor that they gave off was like we were wasting their time. After I paid and sat down, the younger girl came out to clean the tables by the door (the door was open and it was sort of windy on this particular day) and I sat at the table right behind the bar table that she was cleaning. This visit at wing stop was THE WORST experience ever. I made an online order through the app for 30 wings, 2 large fries, 3 sides of ranch and some veggies. The online status on the app showed that the order was completed but when I got to store, the order was NOT completed. I waited for an additional 20 mins and still my order was not completed. The young African American female associate who was working the register lacked customer service skills and was unaware of anything going on with the restaurant and my specific order. She kept telling me "they're working on it" I waited another 20 mins and again my order was not ready. How In the world does the app say one thing and your workers say something else? Is that truly how to run a business? Misinformed information? I later asked for a refund and her response to this was. tell the cook to not make my order. Wow this Wing Stop has bad reviews. Let me show em some love. Background: I love Wings, and Wing Stop is one of my guilty pleasures. In my bachelor/college years I'd get it once a week. Now as a married father of three I get it maybe once every 3 months. Now on Quarantine life I negotiated with my wife that I'd get Wing Stop for dinner and she could cook waffles for her and the kids one night. She agreed and I was stoked. Online Ordering: I placed my order online through Wingstop.com for delivery. Right now they're offering free delivery and if you order through their website you don't get service fees like you would going through door dash. I placed my order at 5:05 PM and it was at my door in 45 minutes. Smooth sailing. Even got a text confirmation from Wingstop that they got my order and it would be delivered by Door Dash. Also included a link so I could follow my order in real time. What I got: 15 traditional bone in wings. I got them plain with hot and bbq sauce on the side. Also some bleu cheese and an order of celery. I don't get too fancy with my wings. Wingstop never let's me down as far as food quality. My wings were crunchy and delicious. I love their bleu cheese. I know it isn't, but it tastes homemade. Very chunky and delicious. Final Thoughts:Great option for a meal delivered. Quick, my food was correct as ordered and delicious. Giving this place the benefit of the doubt. We ordered for pick up on a Saturday night and the app stated the food would be ready in 15 mins.. we basically had to wait an additional 30-45 mins when we got to the store and the store was packed with unhappy customers just staring at the workers. This place is seriously understaffed, if they would just hire maybe 1-2 more cooks it would help out a lot. One other note- one of the cooks seemed to be bickering with the young man at the register (he was helping with everything at one point) and I'm not saying it was anyone's fault but this could've easily been prevented if there were more workers. The phone was going off, customers were nonstop coming in- we even saw people wait in line to order but left because they weren't being helped), and you could sense the frustration/anxiety from the team. I saw 4 workers and maybe 14-15 customers waiting for their food. Not sure why this place has so many 1 stars but we ordered 100 wings with different flavors for a party of 8 and all the wings were decently flavored and our order was definitely correct. Fries were not overly greasy and only a few of the wings were a little dry. You can't really expect a luxurious taste at a fast food restaurant, it was good for what it was! Place looked pretty dirty. Bathroom had an Out of Service sign but one of the workers used it? Kitchen had fries all over the floor and tables near the window were definitely not wiped down. This place should be shut down... you've been warned! First of all, the order took twice the time it was quoted to be prepared in through the website (16-21 minutes). They did not seem busy at all. Gotta drop my 5 star rating down based on my last couple experiences. They are very understaffed and wait times are terrible. They are quoting 30 minutes plus even though when you order online, it quotes 18 minutes. A guy just came in and said he was on hold for a phone order for 10 minutes, so he just came in to order. Soda fridge is lacking, looks like they are really slacking on inventory. Last visit, they were out of boneless wings completely. A few ordered them online while I was in there and they said they called them to notify them, but the customer said they got no call. A solid manager prescience and more employees on call are certainly needed. Despite the food always being good and consistent, this last visit left me slightly disappointed. I tried the Korean wings for the first time. Certainly far from my favourite sauce they have. I was supposed to get 7 Louisiana Rub and 3 Korean, but they did 5 and 5. The Korean wings were not hot in the middle. Louisiana Rub are by far my favourite flavour, but these were way too salty. Either they mixed up the spices incorrectly or just put way too much on. I usually got to Bayfair Wingstop because I never have any quality issues. My boyfriend and I decided to order Wingstop through DoorDash and our order was routed here, to the B St. location. I ordered boneless wings with half being garlic Parmesan. Now if you've had any kind of Garlic Parmesan wings from Wingstop you know THIS is a disgrace. I'm pretty sure they just squirted butter on my wings or oil I'm not sure but it was just disgusting and disappointing. There was no sauce, no cheese, just a small spot of oil.
