First time coming to this wing stop. I was impressed because it was not too busy, well it was a lil bit. I mean compared to the one over on florin road. They told my husband he had to wait for 14 minutes. I told him that is definitely not bad at all. We have waited up to at least an hour at times. (Not this store). The staff was all young people, but they were working that store. While we were waiting someone came out to clean the tables every time someone left. Then of course they had to mop the floor because two teenagers were playing at the table and spilled their soda all over the floor. The girl that cleaned up the soda was very nice about it. All the staff there where were pretty cool and the place was clean. This was the first time we noticed it, and how that came about was because my husband didn't want Chipotle's so he was looking for something else and there it was. Wing Stop! #Options read more

Don't ever go to Wingstop they have bad customer service they gave me the wrong order they didn't want to refund me my money they didn't want to give me a different order I'm just so pissed off at them right now I don't suggest no one to ever go to Wingstop ever the managers tell you one thing they tell you to call back and then they don't stand on word. read more

I dont eat meat. I went here with my boyfriend and when we got a meal i specified twice to please put the fries in a separate bag. When we got out food where were my fries? Fermenting with my boyfriends wings. That really really made me mad! You really cant put fries in a separate bag when asked twice?? The lady behind the counter kept coughing. Kind of grossed out when shes like two feet from the food. My boyfriends wings were okay, he said they were nothing special. The fries that became his fries were disgusting. He will eat anything and said that they were inedible! read more

This location is the worst wing stop ever they are horrible customer service is so bad the wings took like 1hour also I preorder over the phone wings are only supposed to take 16 minutes not a hole one hour this location use to be the best one now it's the worst one ever who ever the Management is they are horrible very bad do t go here waist your money bad idea read more

HORRENDOUS SERVICE. I can't even call it that. But those wings. Our most recent visit caused for our boycott. That goodness they're franchises, right? Haha Buffalo wild wings tops anyhow. Save yourself the wait and dissapointment, go elsewhere. read more

I am very disappointed in our visit today. The cashier was very rude. She didn't give us a receipt. The counters and floors were dirty and sticky. It took 20 minutes to get our food and there was only 1 person ahead of us. Once we finally got our food, it was bone in and we ordered boneless. We sent it back and another 10 minutes later we got our food. I ordered bbq&hot and I got all hot. My fires were cold. The only option available on the soda fountain was Coke. All the other ones were were not filled up. It costs a lot of money to eat out, so I expect at least a variety of sodas. read more

Don't get me wrong, I love wingstop, but this location is crappy. I waited for over an hour for ten boneless wings. 10 freakn' boneless wings. read more

This has been the worst wing stop I've ever been to. I waited an hour for my wings the manager didn't even apologize and when I asked for a refund because they were taking so long she said they would be out in 2 minutes and it took 15 more minutes from that point. When my order finally came out no acknowledgement or anything for my wait and I was late for my lunch. I do not recommend anyone coming here! read more

Came here around 11pm on a Tuesday night and the staff here were more than willing to help me and take my order. I ordered the Lemon Pepper and Garlic Parmesan wings (see my post for EG Florin Location for complete Review) both came out hot and flavorful. One thing I noticed about the wings was that the bottom of the trays were not see through! There seemed to be less residual oil which is always good. The coca-cola freestyle machine has got to be the coolest thing I've seen this year, I will definitely be back to try out the different flavors. This business is new to the area and if they keep up the good service and great quality of food, there is no reason why they should not thrive here! Support them guys! Eat Up! read more

Wingstop - Chicken Wings Near Me - Elk Grove, California

I'm used to bigger wings. At cosco I can get them cheaper and bigger. The size of the shoulder piece should be the equivalent if a child holding a chiken leg. Or three fingers near in width, the ones wing at wing stop are 2 fingers width. Size doesn't matter though. I just like more meat. The food was good, lemon pepper and the original hot was excellent. The fries were spiced with sugar? Odd, yes, tasty though. read more

When i called in for my order, they told me to come in 15 mins, so i did. When i got there, my order was NOT ready yet. I waited for another 10 minutes. Got my order, checked my fries and they were burnt! So i decided I would let it off since I figured they were having a long day, but when I got home, i counted my wings and I only got 8, 4 of each flavor. I clearly ordered the large individual combo which comes with 10 pieces. I called and someone picked up and did not say a thing! I said hello 5 times and so i hung up. I decided to call again, and guess what? No one picks up! I called about 5 times and no one picks up! This is horrible customer service. Also, i did not ask for a receipt because i had no clue they would cheat me off! But i was charged for 10 piece shown on my bank card. read more

Wingstop - Burnt fries and 8 wings instead of 10! - Chicken Wings Near Me - Elk Grove, California

Four words: DIGITAL FREESTYLE COKE MACHINE. Da fuq. You can make hundreds of combinations of drinks with their machine. Even though I'm not a huge fan of carbonated drinks, I was really impressed and thoroughly enjoyed my creations. As for the food, it's just as good as any other Wingstop I've had. Greasy, finger-lickin' Lemon Pepper wings are the way to go...plus fries! The fries weren't as crispy as I would have liked, and the food took a bit long to come out. The location is great (right next to Chipotle, where Quizno's used to be) and it's open until midnight! It's bad news I discovered this, since I was going to Chipotle for dinner and then wound up eating my burrito bowl inside Wing Stop, with an order of wings and fries and drink. True fatty...no regrets! read more

Three star because although the soda machine is cool, the drinks that comes from it is pretty nasty. Also, the last three times I went, it was broken and I didn't go there consecutively which means they are lagging on maintenance. There was only diet flavors available. Ech. Not for me. The fries here really aren't as great either. Always appear as though they've cooked it in some old oil... read more

Sigh. Damn my love for hot wings. Placed my order on the app, showed up twenty minutes later like instructed and it wasn't even started yet, no apologies no explanations. Then she gave my to go order to someone else! Elk Grove I really need a solid wing place! 5/31/15 Okay wingstop. I'm done. Every time I go it takes 10-15 minutes longer than it should. And on top of it, today my order was wrong. Paid extra for all drumsticks and got mixed wings. The wings aren't good enough for the wait and the mistakes. read more

While waiting for my order I watched this place serve old food from other tables...DISGUSTING!!! Ordered online at 3:34pm and got a confirm email it would be ready at 3:51pm. Arrived at 4:01pm. was told it would be ready in 15 min. Was a lite irritated it wasnt ready as stated. Heres where the DISGUSTING comes in...While we waited we saw another family get their order with issues. they ended up sitting down going through the food puting it on their plates while eating. They shortly returned to the counter and said it was the wrong food. I saw the lady and the guy working in the kitchen discussing the problem. the guy pointed to the counter and she put the food down there. I joked with my wife that I was gonna be pissed if they tried to give it to us as our order...Thats EXACTLY what HE did. I watched her bag up the same items the other family had been digging through and eating and call my name. I was furious. I asked to speak to the man in the kitchen that made the call to do that and to my surprise, they told me HE was the owner. So I asked him why he did that and he said Oh I dont know who made that call Ive been cooking wings. I told him I sat there and watched him do it. all he said was, "Oh I dont know who did it. He didnt even offer or try to make it right. He just stood there like he didnt even care. What a jerk. Im looking up his business info and name to report to corporate and the City health inspectors. read more

Wish I could zero star this! This was my worst experience at Wing Stop ever. It took over 30 minutes to get our food, and the place was empty... empty. The people working had on clothing that had worn out holes in them and they do not take gift cards?! After a while a person sitting at a table next to us got up to ask about our food, she was a friend of the people working. I heard the fryer after that AND 10 minutes later we got our food.. Worst part was the fries were soggy and the wings were cold. NEVER EVER AGAIN. read more

Cons: It's mainly a personal preference I find their wings slightly too greasy for me. Some days I'm in the mood for grease but other times it can be overpowering. I've tried bone in and boneless here. They are both delicious but find that the boneless is a bit more greasy. Moving on to the PROS First the soda machine had very limited flavors when I came in but the workers were quick to refill the flavors and were very patent with the customers who were constantly using the machine and asking why there were no flavors . A HUGE bonus in the customer service was that everyone was kind and welcoming. On my friends order the cook personally came out and gave her more wings because he said her wings were too small. The fact that her remembered her name and came out with fresh hot wings earned bonus points. read more

Wingstop! Awesome wings, when I'm in a mood for chicken, wingstop is the place to go! It really depends on which of the location you go to for good cooked chicken wings because sometimes they can make it too dry, too salty, or whatever. I like the lemon pepper and Cajun wings. Usually ask for all flats, meaning they only give you all the wings, no drums, for more flavor. The atomic wings back then were much hotter and is fun for sport/games with friends. The fries, are just like the wings. It really depends on the location and if they make a good batch or not. But when its on point, I love them. Also, probably the Asian in me but if you bring it home and eat it with some rice, it tastes even better! Lol. read more

Honestly they don't even deserve this one star. Wings are good and I always ask for FRESH fries but I NEVER get it. It upsets me that when a customer has a special request, they should get what they asked for which is FRESH FRIES and if these wimpy ass fries are considered fresh..the employee who rung me up should be fired for their lack of customer service. read more

Very disappointed...Work group went last week. Soda machine not working. What!!! Cashier offered a canned soda from the case. Work group went again this week - soda machine still broken. When we got there, there was probably 1 person ahead of me which was great, thinking we'd get our food in no time. A couple minutes after I paid a huge rush came in probably about 5-6 other orders. I realized the person who ordered after me got their food first so I thought, ok, no biggie; their order was probably smaller than ours. Then someone else got their order before us and another. There was even another lady who complained because she was told "15 min" for her order. My husband and I had our two small children with us so we were getting pissed. I asked what's takin so long because 5 other people got their order before ours? My husband raises his voice and asks "Is there a reason why we're getting our food last?" The cashier's reason was because we had "bone in" and those take longer to cook. BS! it doesn't take 45 min to cook 20 wings! Never again are we going to that location. Service sucked. Although they said "Sorry for the wait", there was no empathy at all from their body language or tone of voice. Food tasted great as always except they didn't give us our veggie sticks and didn't give me the correct dipping sauces either. Two thumbs DOWN! Shoulda just went to Chipotle next door! read more

New management/ownership has made a huge difference! I decided to give the Wingstop on Laguna another shot since they had signage up to say they were 'Now Open' and I was not disappointed! Staff was very friendly and the wings and fries were hot and fresh! Another big plus is that ordering through the app is working again! This is huge because it saves so much time vs. walking in and ordering and then waiting for your food. I can only have Wingstop once every couple of weeks, so I'm anxiously awaiting the chance to go back! read more

Horrendous. I have witnessed them serving old food from other people's leftover plates. Disgusting!

Very poor customer service. My first time going into wingstop, and the cashier stood there talking to a friend or relative that had come in, didn't greet me. Didn't say she would be with me in a moment, nothing. My order was finally taken and I was informed after I payed that it would be atleast 15 minutes for my.food to be ready. I ended up having them refund my money, I had to get back to work. I was very disappointed. read more

Like everyone else, I was extremely excited about the opening of this new location, so convenient and close! Plus, I heard about their ultra cool FREESTYLE COKE MACHINE yeaaaayuh. More things to do while they your food is deep-fried and swimming in calories. Anyway, I was disappointed that they didn't have Strawberry Sprite sigh. Just coke and etc, I just ended up mixing Strawberry water and lime water. Not too bad and sort of healthy? I don't know. We ordered up the usual, meal for two for about $16.99 and add 5 more wings for $2.99. 20 wings total (all lemon pepper), large seasoned fries and two drinks for a little more than $20 The food took about a good 15 minutes or so? The food finally came out and maybe the cooked the fries too soon? They were room temperature... The chicken was super greasy and I could see the pool of oil. Yes, I know, what else do you expect from Fried Chicken Wings but they were never that greasy at other wing stop locations. You could taste the oil when you bit into them, especially the boneless wings. Made you feel crummy after and almost instant fatigue. Not a good sign. The cashier in the front named Fatima I think, was extremely kind and patient. She was very helpful in helping me calculate the cheaper options. I was debating between the meal for two or just ordering everything seperate without the drinks. Turns out its more cost effective to just go with the freakin meal for two, and a lot simpler. Service was great, too bad I can't say the same about the food. Wingstop is wingstop. All locations should be consistent. This location is still new and I'll wait for them to take advantage of "room for improvement". read more

Finally! A Wingstop for the heart of Elk Grove! No need to drive all the way out to Elk Grove Florin =) The lady was super friendly to us, upgraded our fries to garlic no charge, accommodating, and wings were on point as usual. Let me start by saying this is absolutely the WORST WING STOP IN SACRAMENTO. First I ordered voodoo fries and they give me regular fries I didn't even check the bag until I got home. Second they fill the ranch half way, every wing stop I done been to they always fill it up to the top. And third the lemon pepper taste so funny I don't know what it is but it taste a little fishy and the fries where so black. This place honestly needs a healthy inspection because this s*** is not okay. read more

Food : The 10 boneless wing and fries were served promptly. The 5 Garlic Parmesan wings were extremely salty as were the fries. Service & Amenities : First, they told me I could not get cup for water, that I had to buy a drink to get a cup, really? Second, they are broadcasting an wireless "guest" SSID and when I asked for the password to access the guest wifi I was told, we don't give that out, really? Summary : Salty food and terrible customer service. If you want to go to a Wingstop go to another locarion. read more

We came here at 9:15pm on Monday 07/06- all the lights were turned off and the place looked like it was closed. We opened the door to find three employees at the register with no face masks, one was completely not even wearing a uniform, one was eating, while the other one was on her phone. We asked what time they closed and one answered at 11:30pm. I questioned them as to why all the lights were off- as this would make any customer think they were closed. With a mouth full of food- she said "i don't know, we just do". We were not greeted, the place looked dirty, and it was clear no sanitizing precautions were taken place for covid. This was enough for us to walk out and drive the extra 5 miles to the next wingstop. The level of unprofessionalism and lack of safety precautions for the current pandemic we are in by these employees is alarming. Management really needs to look into the actions and behaviors of the individuals representing their location. I will not be returning to this establishment. read more

It was a Sunday night and my husband and I had just left Chipotle with our take-out bag in hand. It was 10:05pm and noticed that 3 doors down Wing Stop was still open. On a Sunday? In Elk Grove? Curious, we decided to walk over and see. We were immediately greeted by the woman at the register. Nice. We ordered 10 of their wings which came with two sauce options. We chose garlic parmesan and the original hot. Both were very tasty and the garlic parmesan was real buttery which we liked. However, the original hot should be renamed to original mild. It barely had a kick. So why the mediocre 3 stars? I took away two of them because the young woman who was in line behind us got her order first. The young man who was making the wings seemed to have rushed her order. If she had called ahead, I'd understand. But she didn't. They probably knew each other. That's fine, I've worked in the food industry myself as a youngin'. I get it. But it still makes for crappy service. Oh, yeah, they're open until midnight 7 days a week. read more

Not that anyone from Wingstop corporate would care.... (clearly) since there's tons of bad reviews on here and nothing has been done about it... but they don't allow you to order online, no one answers the phone to make an over the phone order, and when you order there the customer service is terrible and wings will fake well over 20 minutes to make. It's ridiculous read more

Love this wing stop location. Great service and for some reason wings taste way better here than other locations .

This location is violating Visa/Mastercard Merchant card acceptance policies and placing consumers at risk for identity theft. I called and spoke to the manager who explained that the owner of this location made his own policy. The problem is merchants cannot make a policy that conflicts with Visa/Mastercard's policy... the credit card companies policy is the final rule. The violation is happening when paying with a signed/valid credit card--the staff have been instructed by the owner to require an ID or else they won't accept the card. Visa/Mastercard strictly prohibit merchants from requiring an ID if the card is signed--merchants are only allowed to compare the signature on the card to the signature on the sales receipt. However, this location will not even run the card unless an ID is shown. That is NOT allowed by Visa or Mastercard!! Some merchants falsely believe that requiring ID prevents fraud. It doesn't. In fact, by requiring an ID, they are forcing consumers to hand over their photo, birth date, address, and driver's license number along with their credit card info. This tidy package of information is far more desirable to a thief than the credit card info alone. Requiring ID opens up consumers to increased risk of identity theft. For this reason, the card companies do not allow it and will swiftly revoke a merchant's card acceptance privileges if they fail to correct their policy. But don't take my word for it. Visit the Visa Card Acceptance policy and refer to page 33, which states that "merchants cannot make an ID a condition of acceptance" and that "merchants cannot as part of their regular card acceptance procedures refuse to complete a purchase transaction because a cardholder refuses to provide ID", and it also states that " requesting of a cardholder ID does not change the merchant's liability for chargebacks. However, it can slow down a sale and annoy the customer. The policy is ready available online (see page 33): https://usa.visa.com/dam/VCOM/download/merchants/card-acceptance-guidelines-for-merchants.pdf read more
