However, as the gal (newish?) was finishing up my sandwich, another lady (manager?) came up and asked the gal something which I could not hear. Subway at 8775 Center Parkway, Elk Grove, CA has the rudest owner/manager lady there. It's close to my house but I'm going to avoid it completely and go to the one on Elk Grove Blvd. Center Parkway's manager said I couldn't use a coupon or my phone ad app to get the deal with a wrap. That's the first time that's ever happened to me .... ever. I just paid and left without a scene or arguing. Does no good and I'm not confrontational. The young man making the wrap was very kind/thoughtful/nice. BUT the owner/manager is not even nice. She just lost my business and my family's COMPLETELY. I can't eat their bread and that's why I "need" the wraps. I've never had to even ask for the specials on the foot long deals because they've ALWAYS included wraps at EVERY OTHER SUBWAY from Sacramento, Roseville and all the way to Modesto and Visalia. She just penny-pinched her way out of a customer who spends well over $100 a month in Subway. Too bad. One disgruntled customer is like having 10,000. I don't expect much from Subway. I've been to this location many times in person, but most recently using door dash. I haven't had issues at this subway. The staff have been fine. The line moves steadily & they don't skimp on portions. On door dash, they put stickers and number the sandwiches, so we could easily tell who's sandwich is who's. The only thing is that they added mustard to my sandwich. It's alright, it's not terrible and I'm not allergic, I just didn't order it. But overall, a good Subway location. read more

I want to start this review by saying that I ordered food from this establishment knowing that the sandwiches were going to be mediocre. That is not what made it a bad experience though. I made my order through the website to take advantage of one of the coupon codes and after placing my order, I was given a status page where it gave me an estimate for when my order would be done and the current status. Got to the restaurant early and it was not that busy so I just sat in a chair and waited for the website to let me know it was ready. Once the website gave me the ready status, I asked one of the guys if it is actually ready and they then told me that they just started making them (so I guess the website status is useless). Also, the guys working there looked miserable as if they were serving a prison sentence. My food was finally ready about 10 min later (about 35 min total waiting). Took it home and found out that they did not even respect the ingredients I listed in my order. Onions all over my sandwich - I am allergic to this ingredient. So, yea, just skip this place. I always go to this Subway because it is near my house. The workers here are very friendly and they do not rush you while you are ordering. Most of the time, there isn't too long of a line here. But they do get through the line pretty fast. Their work space is really clean and they always wipe down if there is a big mess. The only thing that I have to say about this subway is that the worker are always on their phone in the kitchen. It is pretty noticeable because their face is lit up from the light from their phone. I just suggest to not show that to the customer. Other than that, I love subway and enjoy going to this certain location. I will be back of course! read more

I came in tonight with my son there was a lady who made my sandwich she was so nice to us she communicated the extra cost for items and made our food with care. This is probably the best subway in the area. The service is fantastic...And they get your sandwich right. I love how when I open the paper wrapping, the sandwich is still intact and the ingredients aren't falling everywhere. It seems that Subway restaurants are generally compared based on the amount of extra meat that they will pile on your sandwich. If that is the criterion, then this is the best Subway in the Sacramento area; I would estimate that the "Italian" has nearly twice the endowment as the equivalent product at the Longport (Harbour Point) installation. Ask for extra olives or cheese, and they will obligingly pile that on too. I'm not sure "Jared" would approve of all this, but it's good. The food preparation is friendly, accurate and unhurried. The toasted subs are warm all through. The tables were freshly wiped, and the bathroom stocked and clean. Customers with disabilities may have difficulty navigating both the entrance (where child boosters are being stored) and the corridor to the bathroom (which is partially blocked by tables and the chips rack). Of concern was the cashier at the time I visited. She was chewing gum with her mouth open (a real no-no for a food service environment) and wearing an iPod (a no-no from a customer service point of view). She was also preoccupied at times with about five or six of her friends hanging about, to whom she gave cookies, apparently without payment; kind of insulting to the paying customers. read more

Subway is good for breakfast (you should try it if you haven't!) and maybe a cookie, that's about it. Sandwiches... not their strong suit. I am in the service industry. And I understand customer service is number one to keep a business successful. Today I went and had a salad at the subway and my son had the footlong sandwich. Me being on a diet wanting just a glass of water. He got the combo meal. We asked for some ice cubes for my warm tap water. But was refused twice and told that the water is cool enough. Not only was my salad smaller than any other Subway I have ever been to. Skimpy. Now some of the worst service. And to think I actually tipped the woman in her tip jar. I could not even get two ice cubes. How sad and for sure I will not be back there to give them my business. I do a service route and I eat out most every day. Unfortunately this Subway will no longer be on my list. Sure my $15 a week won't put them in bankruptcy. But enough people doing the same would. Thank you hope you find some more ice cubes. The past 2 times I've been here the service has been slow. It shouldn't take 10 mins to make sandwiches especially when you're the only customer in the store. The first time I went the employee was obviously in a bad mood and didn't bother to conceal it. He spoke slow and quietly as you could tell from his actions he didn't want to be there. Today I went and the guy was your average worker, but he forgot the avocado in my turkey bacon and avocado sandwich... The lady that was handling my son's sandwich held a broom and started cleaning her work area while the sandwich is being toasted and came back to take the sandwich out without changing the gloves and then asked what veggies do you like? As I'm eating, I over hear the Manager (Nadem) harassing her because he said she should of chopped it instead of layering it. Food is good just like every other subway but Joyce in particular is extremely rude. Doesn't acknowledge you when you walk in right past her and tries to rush you when deciding on what you want. If you are Asian descent, do not go there. The employees are not friendly to Asian customers. They did not even say "hi" or "hello" to Asian customers, just blank stare. The food and service have always been great at this location. Today I ordered the $6 Deal of the Day which is either a featured footling sub or a 6" sub with chips and drink for $6. They rang it up and it came to $6.50, $7 with tax. I asked why it wasn't $6 plus tax and they didn't know and couldn't figure out how to correct it so I just paid the $7.
