Jollibee is STILL the best fried chicken! I said what I said! I know there are more locations opening in our region, Roseville n Elk Grove but South Sac Jollibee will always WIN! I have been very lucky to have this gem in my side of Sac! I know a lot people from all over Sacramento come here because it was the ONLY one! I never go inside, it's TOO BUSY AND CROWDED! I always do drive through and it's great service always! Their fried chicken comes out PIPING HOT CRISPY CRUNCHY EVERYTIME! And it's true NOT every location is good! For example I went to the one Fairfield CA, huge let down and disappointment! South Sac Jollibee gets it down all day everyday! read more

I live in Roseville and don't make it out to south sac very often. I have wanted to try this place for the longest time. So over the weekend when I had to make a trip to Elk Grove I snatched up the opportunity to stop and bring some food home. I downloaded the app, created an account because I definitely want points and rewards. I also want to order ahead. My very first order was 2 piece chicken meal with spaghetti and mashed potatoes and gravy. It also came with the peach mango pie and the pineapple drink. When getting there my husband goes to pick up the order while I waited in the car with our dog. They were very busy inside and in the drive through so I expected a bit of a wait time. It started to get excessively long so I called him to ask what's going on. He goes to the counter to ask the status of the order. The guy asked for the order info so he gave it to him. He looks around and tells my husband they have no info on my order. That doesn't make sense. So he goes through a bunch of other customers receipts and he found mine. He laughed and told my husband oh I guess we put it to the side and forgot to make the order. Say what? Are you kidding me? They made it then. Strike one on lousy customer service. But maybe the food will make up for it? Yes and no. So my husband brings the food out and the plan was to bring it home to eat. I decided nope I need to try this now because I'm hungry and excited to eat this. I open the spaghetti. Looked good. Tasted better than it looks. I was in love and hooked immediately. My husband took a bite and didn't like it. His loss. More for me. It was a small side so I ended up just eating the whole thing. In the meantime I decided I also wanted to try the burger steak since I don't come often. He goes n to order it and I eat the mashed potatoes and gravy. Best fast food mashed potatoes and gravy I've ever had. Finished that off too lol. He brings the burger steak out. I was going to take the rest home but I wanted 1 bite of the burger steak. The container they used had a hole in the back and they 500 gallons of mushroom gravy ended up spilling over the side down on my bare legs (wearing shorts) and it was hot. At least I'll give them that. Hot, very hot and it's burned my legs. I still have my legs attached so it could be worse. Whatever. I try it. Not impressed. I took the rest home and ate it later because I wasn't going to waste food. But I absolutely wouldn't get that again. It was burnt, bland, dry. Even the Pacific Ocean amount of gravy didn't help the dryness. I ate the chicken at home. Very good chicken. Very juicy and tender. Skin was still crispy even after the drive back to Roseville. I also enjoyed the pie and the pineapple drink I just wish the drink could come in a bigger size. They are opening one in Roseville. I'm not sure when but it seems soon. And I can't wait. I'm definitely going to be a frequent flyer for that spaghetti. The bee outside was cute and I saw a few people taking selfies with it. My husband said the inside seemed clean. He wasn't inspecting it or anything. Just a normal interior of a fast food restaurant. I enjoyed the food, the majority of it. The customer service however was lacking. read more

Jollibee brings me nostalgic vibes from when I was a kid in the Philippines . Their "World Famous" ChickenJoy and my beloved spaghetti and the savory Peach Mango Pie. My ultimate favorite from them. Sadly, the Sacramento branch tends to mess up our order. Yesterday was the 3rd time we encountered problems with our order. We purchased the 12pcs Bucket Family Meal with 5 sides. Upon ordering, we clearly said 6 spicy, 6 original. We know the two employees taking our order understood it since they repeated it to clarify the order. At home, we found out that they gave us all original instead of the initial 6/6. We live over an hour away only to get an order different from what we expected. Before, there were items missing. read more

This Jollibee drive thru always has super duper long line of cars so I decided to park my car and walk in to order chicken for take out. Inside and to the left of the main entrance are the self service kiosks, which is where I placed my order and paid by tap . First peeps who aren't comfortable with using the self service kiosk the Jollibee door greeter will help walk you through the tech format or you cashier will ring you up old school style at the counter. My order was ready in less than 10 minutes. 11 minutes in all I was out the door walking to my car with my 3 piece Jollibee meal. read more

Ordered Uber Eats from here because I've been wanting to try their new chicken joy nuggets. The nuggets were crispy and dipping sauce was of course gravy. We also ordered a 6 piece basket with spicy chicken. We also got a few pineapple quenchers to drink something refreshing. Our meals also came with mashed potatoes and gravy. Everything was tasty except our mashed potatoes weren't as hot as we would've wanted, but could've been because of the drive from the Jollibee location to our house. read more

The Jollibee we used to know and love is no longer here. The chicken has almost halfed itself in size and they no longer protrude out of their buckets. The crispy skin is still there, but the juicyness has been toned down. It has been almost a year since I have returned to Jollibee so I am not sure what changed, but taking my first bite, I almost did not recognize their signature chicken joy. Thankfully that inside still remains packed and clean as it should be, and there are now kiosks to help with the ordering process. read more

Yooo It's AAPI Heritage Month so gonna patronize AAPI spots all month and this Filipino establishment is one for sure!!! And yes Jollibee is at the top rank for fried chicken! So check it out yo!!! USA Today rank #1 https://www.instagram.com/p/DMX1Xe5T6DS/?igsh=MXVhejM5eW16OHEzNQ== StunnaSandy hype https://www.instagram.com/reel/DMOiG16SYBu/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== Jollibee Sacramento is very surprisingly the only spot in this region as there are plenty in the Bay Area as I'm used to. So glad I'm close to this spot though for sure! There is always a long ass line for drive-thru but goes by fairly quick. There is dine-in option also with several dining tables and it is clean inside. Fried chicken is their money maker though they also serve Angus burgers and some yummy Filipino spaghetti!! This visit I ordered their Chickenjoy 6 pcs spicy. I've tried both original and spicy but my preference is spicy as it is sooo good and more flavorful to me, and it is not really that spicy. It is also served with savory gravy so you gotta dip it Lol I got a spicy chicken sandwich too - so delish! Gotta have Jollibee's fried chicken in moderation but will be back again - Angus burger sounds good! read more

Although the chicken is pretty delicious and the sauce is delicious, they didn't have toilet paper in the restroom. And when I went to go, tell the worker, I had to repeat it three times because she didn't comprehend the first time or the second time.. I believe this is a health concern or it could just be me. It was 11 o'clock and the restaurant was pretty full so the food is pretty delicious. I would say. Perhaps just bring your own toilet paper or tissues. read more

Jollibee is the popular in the Philippines, but its extend branches here in America, and its all over the states now, so whenever we have a chance to come to Sacramento, we have to have a taste of their delicious menus, we had spaghetti and angus burger, so yummy, u will come back to have more, the service is fast and good, our cashier Keana grace is absolutely amazing. I still love Jolibee, and still think the customer service needs work. Food is always good. You can't beat their crispy chicken, gravy, and rice! The spaghetti and yumburger is always delicious as well. Who am I kidding - everything is good! Order online when possible for a smoother pick up experience. This location is PACKED on the weekends so if you want jolibee on the weekends, be prepared to wait. Looking forward to the new location opening in Elk Grove this year (2026). read more

Jollibee has always been a safe go-to for us. But this location had the worst fried chicken I've had in a long time. The chicken was extremely dry (how can a chicken thigh be soooo dry???), and there is very little spice even though we ordered spicy fried chicken. Unfortunately we will not be back to this location. read more

Well, it's been a year and a half since my previous visit, so it's time for a chicken joy treat. Weekday, Around 3pm, drive thru order of 2-piece chicken combo. Pleasant staff, efficiently presented 2 pieces of spicy chicken, cole slaw, gravy, peach mango pie and a drink. $14 and change, and on my way. Tasted good at home. I'll be back next year! ;-) read more

Jollibee USA, it's just not the same as the Philippines, but it can touch that itch that only the bee can scratch. 2 piece chicken, the chicken seems to have shrunk, which is ok, because I don't like mutated chicken. Cheesy Yumburger. The patty has onions and flavor, but is it worth $5? I don't think so. We also ordered Jolly Spaghetti. If you're Filipino, you can make the spaghetti, but if you want a quick fix. Jollibee does it and it has a distinct taste. Inside, it was clean. It was also a slower time of the day. I used the app to order and the food was ready when we got there. read more

There is a reason why there's crazy long lines... the chicken is amazing! We like the chicken and rice with their GRAVY! If you love something sweet and crispy, their mango peach pie is delish. They have other speciality things (Salisbury Steak looking thing and Sweet Spaghetti) which are pretty good, but our favorite is definitely Palabok Fiesta! NOTE: The chicken only comes in dark meat, so that is a make or break for a lot of people. read more

Jollibee is delicious but this location is consistently delayed with processing and fulfilling online orders. I don't understand how things are prioritized, but the times we've ordered online, our food is never ready when the app says it's ready. Today, we showed up 20 minutes past ready notification and still had to wait an extra 15 minutes for our food to be packed up. I recommend using the drive thru instead and going during non-peak mealtime hours. It'll be a shorter wait! read more

Waited over 50 minutes for my 12-piece spicy chicken bucket, only to find 10 pieces when I got home. I was furious and absolutely disappointed. This was my first time at this location. There was no line to order, yet over 20 people were waiting for their food. I figured it wouldn't take long for a single bucket, but I was wrong. If an order is going to take nearly an hour, staff should warn customers upfront. There were plenty of workers in the kitchen, but service was painfully slow. I watched the whole time (no cell service to doom scroll and kill time), and the team seemed disorganized and not in any hurry. When I finally got my order, it didn't include napkins or utensils either. I'd be more understanding if there was a legit reason for the slow service, but after reading many other reviews, it seems this is common issue for this location. This place should be investigated.. After waiting that long and getting shorted two pieces, I'm incredibly frustrated. This was such a letdown.. I won't be returning... read more

I love going to jollibee for some fried chicken. It's pretty affordable too, Service is always so quick. There is plenty of seating inside. I normally get the two pc chicken with two sides, mashed potatoes and adobo rice. The peach and ube pie is so tasty. I tried burger steak for the first time. It was okay it was just a beef patty to me. I wish they had more locations! read more

Ordered online for pickup and the food was not ready when it said it would be. Food itself was okay. Chicken was crispy. The spicy is really spicy. Hamburger steak was surprisingly really good a lot more appetizing than it looks. The mashed potatoes at this location didn't taste as buttery or good as the first time I went. And it needs more gravy they are kind of skimpy with it. Fries were on the soggy side and not really crispy or crunchy. The pie was really good had a good crisp and flakeiness to it. Overall a decent spot for chicken but definitely on the pricier side. read more

I love Jollibee, I mean who doesn't? The food is great but the service at this location is awful. Super long wait times, chaotic, bad attitudes, and always out of spicy chicken joy. I get that this has been the only Jollibee in the Sacramento area for quite some time, so long wait times are to be expected. My family and I opted for the original chicken joy (because spicy was not available), the katseye kbbq special, palabok, spaghetti, and peach mango pies. Everything tasted great as usual, just wouldn't wait that long again for it. Cannot wait for the new locations to open in EG & Stockton. read more

Chaos. The only word to describe my experience at Jollibee. I was in south Sac yesterday and we were hitting all the Asian markets. Decided to go to Seafood City and then Jollibee before we head home. I am a huge fan of ordering ahead and picking up so as my mom went into Seafood City, I placed my order, even with preorder it was a long wait time, order placed 6:15 for pickup at 6:49. When I finally got the email that my food was ready, I went to get in the drive thru and the line was insane. So I thought it'd be easier to park and go in. Wrong. Finally found a spot in the lot and went in to just a room full of people. On the left was the winding line to order food and then on the right, was a pickup board with numbers for the store orders. People were just standing there in front of the pick up area. My food took another 20 minutes to get to me after being put together. The workers were great and polite, but the need to fix their system. I don't see any other places that get this way when they're busy. The food took a back burner to this bad experience and I probably won't be coming back here. read more

Couldn't tell you how long the wait for an order is, but I can tell you I enjoy it every time I get it! This is currently the only Jollibee in the Sacramento area, and I love their spicy fried chicken. Everyone MUST try the chicken skin + adobo rice + gravy mix. I also enjoy their fries. They always come out perfectly crispy. I mainly order Jollibee through DoorDash, hence my first line, so I wouldn't know what the wait time is like here. I just know I love this place, lol. Rumor has it that they're opening one in Elk Grove? Someone fact check this. If it's true, I can't wait to see their expansion here! read more

Was craving fried chicken and the closest is a KFC. Since my husband and I have never had Jollibee, it felt like it was time. We ordered the 12 piece meal that came with 5 sides, gravy, and 5 pies! All of that for under $60 wasn't too bad. We got the spaghetti as a side for my daughter, 2 sides of rice, and 2 of the mashed potatoes. The gravy with the chicken is a must. Rice was good, but the pies were a perfect ending. read more

Idk why this Jolibee has only 3 stars I think they do a great job and the service is good for them being so busy at times! I've made most of my orders through DoorDash and I when I have to make a change to my order I call them and they are always happy to make the change with no complaints. I never have complaints about the food or the quality of the food it's always consistent and I'm rarely in Elk Grove but when I am I always make sure I stop by and grab something from them! It reminds me of my childhood every time and I don't miss an opportunity to stop by a Jolibee in any city!! read more

The best thing about Jollibee's used to be their breakfast they no longer serve. The chicken isn't bad. Haven't tried their spaghetti.

I love how this was the first ever jollibee to open up in the area , I remember as a kid, you'd only be able to get some Jollibee in the Philippines . There's a reason this place is always packed and you the wait time is unpredictable. It's the chicken. Get the chicken. Their spicy is my favorite, but I pass on the sides. They're pretty mid. I heard their new Angus burgers are also good, but I still say get the chicken. The chicken is always crispy and juicy. You can't go wrong. The reason for 3 stars is because it's always packed and they usually make you park and bring your food out to you in 15-20 minutes after ordering through the drive thru. Im glad they're opening up another location in Elk Grove. Get the chicken! read more

Had their fried chicken to go today and it was so good I just had to come back and write a review. Usually when we get fried chicken to go, it's no longer crispy, but Jollibee is not a "usual" in that sense. By the time we drove the fried chicken a good 30+ minutes home, it was still crispy. The spicy chicken is always my go to and it never disappoints. The gravy always makes it extra delicious! I wouldn't get the ube pies again. The crust is deliciously fried to perfection, but the ube filling could definitely be better. This was not our first time here and won't be our last. read more

There seems to be a lot of upset people with this Jollibee, with the main gripe being wait times. I personally have not experienced any of that luckily. I was driving home from Kaiser a couple months ago and accidentally made a wrong turn. I am so thankful I did because as I was driving I saw Jollibee in the distance. I was on the phone and my exact reaction was "Holy shit there's a Jollibee in Sacramento?!?" so you better believe I turned right on in to give it a try. Now I ordered myself a chicken sandwich deluxe with fries, a peach mango pie, and the spaghetti. The second time I went I got myself the Angus deluxe, and 2 piece spicy chicken joy with palabok. The spicy chicken sandwich was delicious and the fries were solid. It wasn't the best chicken sandwich I've ever had but it was great. The Spaghetti.... I honestly just ordered because I've never heard of a fast food place offering spaghetti and I was curious. It was definitely a unique flavor. It was sweet in the same way that barbecue sauce is, but I don't think it was barbecue. The spaghetti wasn't my favorite but It wasn't awful. The Deluxe Burger was amazing especially for the price of it. My friend and I have been going around rating all the burger places in the county and I can't wait to come back and do the same here. Chicken Joy blew my expectations out of the water. I got the spicy 2 pc and I regret not having gotten a bigger size. It was juicy, packed with flavor, crispy, and all around one of the better fried chickens I've had. It came with gravy that I didn't use with the meal, but instead used on mashed potatoes that I made for dinner that night. Gravy was delicious. Lastly the Palabok wasn't really my thing. I've heard that it's amazing but to me it was a bit gritty. Flavor-wise it was decent but I'm such a texture person that I just couldn't bring myself to finish it. I know they're opening a location in Roseville which will be closer to me, and I cannot wait to visit them once they're open. I am extremely happy we have a Jollibee in our city, and I will be back more than once. read more

Do you like to wait a very long time for underwhelming fried chicken? The wait time was unbelievable. The cashier told me it would be a 40 minute wait. I didn't understand. There was so much food under the heated lamps behind him. I found a booth seat. As I was looking around I realized no one had gotten their order. 30 minute lapse. I became impatient. I went to the counter to ask for my order. They were still working on it. I don't understand. There were so many people working. Elbow to elbow. I got my order shortly after complaining. As I looked around no one else got their order. The food was nothing special. Typical fried chicken. The peach mango pie was good though. I probably wouldn't go back. Not worth the wait. Wow I should've read the reviews before visiting this establishment. I generally don't so I can have an open mind. read more

Reminds me of home. Our all time favorite! Very busy on this location, you're lucky if the chicken joy is ready or else you will end up waiting 30+ mins for it especially on the weekends and around meal time. Since this is the only Jollibee around the Sacramento region (for now), expect that there will always be a line, a wait, a crowd, and some really tasty food waiting for you at the end. I say it's worth it. I love a good, crunchy fried chicken that's not oily or salty. The 'bee does it right every time. Comes regular or spicy, and the spicy is spicy, y'all! I always upgrade my side to the adobo rice. It's so good! If you're a purist, you can go with the steamed white rice, fries, or mashed potatoes and gravy. Make sure you get a large side of gravy! It's amazing on the chicken, rice, fries, or mashed potatoes. Trust me on that. I'm not a fan of the "Filipino-style" sweet spaghetti, but I would definitely try the pancit palabok. I've also never had the burger steak (hamburger patty), so that's on the to try list also. But that "chickenjoy" and gravy...OMG! Service is slow and always seems chaotic. I skip the drive thru and just go inside. Pro tip: order online an hour before you want it and hopefully when you go pick it up, you'll only be waiting a few minutes. LOL That's how it is! Doesn't matter what the time of pick up is that your confirmation says. Just expect to wait. Staff are nice but you need to be assertive (not rude!) to get someone's attention in that pick up line. My food was still warm and crunchy when I got home. Oh, and don't forget the mango peach pie. Game changer. read more
