My sauces always gets mix up. I'll ask for blue cheese and I get yellow cheese or ranch. The fries are good but it's being given less and mostly the ends of the potatoes. Then he has the nerve to tell us he was doing us a favor by allowing us to use the screenshot as proof, and that they "usually don't do that." I said, "how is a screenshot helping us, if we need to bring in the actual card?" He then tries to switch the topic by saying "well, that's our policy." I followed up, "So again, how is that helping us? We already ordered the food, and we have already paid online, yet you are now denying us the ability to actually pick up our food. This is food we have already paid for." He then says, we can order in the store and pay with cash in the store, but there would be a 18-25 minute wait for the food. This is complaint for location in El Monte, CA. Address: 10619 valley Blvd. El Monte CA, 91731. This incident occurred on 2/26/2023 at approximately 1020pm. I called the location to place phone order and the phone was turned off, kept saying "this line is disconnected." So l decided to place my order in person at the restaurant. I walked into the restaurant at 1030pm. A female employee was sitting by the cashier, printing out receipts while a male employee was standing over her shoulder. The whole restaurant was not busy. There were no other customers inside the restaurant. The people in the kitchen were just standing around at this time. I approached the counter to place an order, both male and female employees did not look up to greet and kept on talking to each other. Waited for about 5mins (or longer) with no one acknowledging me as a customer to place the order. at one point the male employee looked up and made eye contact with me and turned back to chat up with the employees in the kitchen. I finally spoke up and asked if they were closing. Then finally the female employee that was sitting at the cashier looked up and said they are still open. However, this location has a policy that if they received an online order with a min. amount that already has been paid they will need to have to see the same person that made the initial purchase for picking up (to show ID and the same credit card). If the same person that made the order online does to go then they literally cancel the order (which defeats the whole purpose of ordering it online in the first place) to make a new order for person picking up to pay with their card to show their ID then wait the need to wait additional time). Then you still get charged the initial online order amount on that card (double charge). This review is about my recent experience 8/1/20. I made a phone order for 15 bone in wings. The gentleman on the call offered to provide me with dipping sauce at no charge. Came to pick up my wings.
