We have been going here quite a long time now and realized we had not reviewed. Mark and every else at Wings, Steph, Leah, Mike, Johnnie, Tanya, all the kitchen staff, and all the support staff, are always working to make sure all their customers have a wonderful meal and enjoy themselves. Today, Mark had a wonderful brunch to go with the early NFL game from England. All the food was perfect and Johnnie made excellent mimosas!! If you have any issues at all, you should let your server know as they always are working to make sure all of their customers have a great time. Ok. We have been going to this place for over a year for takeout. In my mind, if you have an online ordering site then when you get to the restaurant the order should be ready. Today will mark the third time we ordered online and showed up to find they never made our order but it is in their computer system. Needless to say this will be the last time I show up and wait for 20-30 min for my order that was placed hours before hand. They do have good wings and burgers but not enough to have to sit and wait after a long day of work. So if you really want to go here for takeout, make sure you call instead of using their online ordering process. Cheers! read more

Came with some friends and family and it took us 2 1/2 hours to get our food. There were only 3 other tables full. Also, one of the waitresses seems to get into a lot of arguments with customers. This is the second time I've seen an altercation with her and a customer. One customer was cursing her out while leaving to which the waitress cursed back at her. I like to bring my family here because it's close to all of us and the food is really good but because of one of the girls there I don't go as much as I used to. Hope the owner or manager sees this and makes necessary changes. Some people that work there are really nice and the food is amazing. read more

Not a good choice - for service, or for food. Wings were undercooked, but decent size. Sauce couldn't stay with the wing. Flavor of hot sauce was ok. Our chicken sandwich consisted of two lukewarm chicken tenders, which very well may have been frozen. The opinion here is that chicken tenders are far better. Our server at the bar didn't have a big crowd - this was a late lunch - but she wasn't versed in how to keep an eye on patrons. The times we were looking for her attention, she was either talking to someone else or we thought she saw us, but no reaction. Again, not a big crowd (3 other patrons at bar, 2 @ table). As for customer service, I get the feeling she thought she may have been doing us a favor. We definitely won't be back. read more

I went for lunch today for wings and a beer. The only thing I can say is the beer was cold. I ordered wings, crispy with sauce on the side. The wings came out and were undercooked, skin was like rubber. They sucked, find a cook that can cook wings, not that difficult. Won't be going back there again read more

Perhaps we were there on an off night as other reviews were very positive and encouraging. Our experience however was not Quite as good. It was burger night ours was ordered medium rare and came out well done, they were apparently understaffed as we couldn't find the waitress for the majority of the night to send it back and have it corrected. The appearance and Atmosphere of the restaurant was disappointing. We sat by the door and every time it opened all of the smoke from smokers standing right outside - came in on our food and table. Not sure that I'll try again but I didn't try the wings which others seem to love. read more

Great service! The wings were amazing. I got the teriyaki sauce and my boyfriend got the medium sauce; both were great flavors. The sweet tea was the perfect amount of diabetes. If you don't like authentic southern sweet, then don't get it. The curly fries were homemade which was a nice, but they were very soft and greasy. My sister and I ordered take out on Christmas Eve from here because they were one of the few places open and we had been wanting to try their food. I'm so glad we did! We got an order of their buffalo wings and a meatball sub and split them. The food was excellent! The only thing I would do different next time would be to order the wings hot instead of medium. BEST WINGS IN SARASOTA!!* "Napalm" wings from Wings N Things are the absolute definition of the real buffalo wings flavor in my book. They're hot, but they're not going to burn your mouth out needlessly. I've been a customer of this restaurant for over 20 years now, and I keep going back for the wings. They have other foods on their menu, but I'm not sure you'll be going there for the other foods. What to order: Get the wings. Definitely. They'll offer you an option of serving them with fries or with celery & carrots. I recommend that you get them with the celery & carrots, because you're gonna want to order a side of curly fries. (I like to eat 'em with vinegar and salt, but you can have 'em your way.) You've also got to try the cheese cubes. These are deep fried (naturally) and served with an amazing sauce they call "cherry mustard," which I can't figure out because it doesn't look like mustard, and it really doesn't taste like cherry. You just have to trust me and try it... just because I can't describe it doesn't mean it isn't AMAZING. Seriously... this is my favorite meal in the world. If I lived closer to it, I'd eat there every week. (Hmmmm.... maybe I can convince my wife to relocate...) Wings are pretty damn good. Napalm and Hot tasted exactly the same to me though. It also tasted just like Franks Hot Sauce. Nonetheless...still yummy, esp if you get them EXTRA crispy! Nachos were insanely huge and yummy! IF you get the nachos, you cannot eat anything else. Bartenders are very nice but can get overwhelmed on Saturday night with trivia. Let me just start off by saying my boyfriend eat from here a lot STILL.. Okay so when I first ordered from them my boyfriend was like can you order for me sometimes they are kinda racist and I'm like okay.. still ordered from them. No problem the first time except for a couple dirty looks from the men outside blocking the door drinking beers it's a fucking pandemic why is he right in front of the door with no mask... I didn't eat the food so I was fine. Second time I called for wings and I was taken back by how RUDE the phone was answered.. brushed it off. So when I asked her to tell a FEW non traditional wings as it was my first time trying to eat from here. She signed caught and attitude with me and said I don't have time then put me on hold for 7 minutes... you're already on the phone with me you could've told me any random wings seeing as they have NO ONLINE MENU SO I HAD NO IDEA WHAT KINDA WINGS THEY HAVE! After that I was done ONLY reason we still got the food from there was because my boyfriend called back himself and placed the order I was done. I'm not spending my money with people who don't even respect me. Or show me respect. No I understand what he meant by they are a little racist. So my husband and I have been going to another wing place for years (we will not name it so we don't upset them). They were good but something told us there had to be somewhere else that was better. We had heard rave reviews about this place over the years, but it is across town and we never really found ourselves in the area. Well we were in the neighborhood today and finally made the stop. When I say that these were some of the best wings I've ever had, I truly mean it. Everything was made fresh! My husband ordered jalapeño poppers and I got fried zucchini and it looked like it was something we would have made by hand at home (and tasted as good too). You could tell and taste that the potatoes had just been cut for the fries. And we both tried 2 different sauces on our wings, and I'm convinced you can't find a sauce you won't like! The ranch was on point and the poppers came with some sort of horseradish sauce that was to die for. It was the best lunch decision we have made in a very long time. Maybe I should have tried the bone in wings. I tried the boneless wings which looked over cooked and really unappetizing. I love buffalo wings, but this sauce was more like pure oil with an orange color. It was so salty I couldn't even finish the chicken. The 'curly fries' were so thin it was like eating spaghetti. This place is a great neighborhood bar! If you're looking for something fancy you're in the wrong place. So far everything I tried eating is real good and plentiful. The staff is very friendly and so are the regulars. My fav is the wings with the honey burban and the chicken salad is insane. I go at least once a week if not more for a beer and to say hello. OK after spending time in Buffalo NY, and the Anchor Bar, you become somewhat of a wing eating aficionado. I am always skeptical of wings when I see them on the menu, most do not make wings I can appreciate. That being said, this place does it all even down to the curly fries. The menu is very good, have eaten several different offerings and satisfied with all. Wings & Things has the biggest wings in the area. They make handmade hamburgers and have good potato skins and onion rings. There is a variety of ice cold beer with Stella on tap.
