Tried Wings and Stuff in Koreatown, and while the service was friendly, the food missed the mark. The wings tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in a while, and the crinkle-cut fries, though cooked well, were coated with a sweet sugar-and-salt seasoning that would've been better served on the side. No veggies came with the meal, and even the daikon radish was $2.50 extra. They really need to add sides to their combos and overall menu to balance out all the fried food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also, just a heads up: there's only patio seating, and the tables and chairs were pretty flimsy and unstable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are also no restrooms available, so plan ahead if you decide to stop by.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, this place has potential, but they need to refresh their oil, add proper sides, and improve the dining setup for a better experience.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Like a hole in the wall spot with a few small outdoor table to sit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So my friend said this place has the best chicken wings so I have to try it for myself and he was right. We got a half honey mustard wings and half fried wings plus 4 different sauces for it. I personally love the friend wings more. It's piping hot, crispy, and juicy af inside plus sauces on the side. I got honey mustard, cucumber wasabi, spicy mayo, and ranch. The honey mustard wings are good too and they use a different type of wings for this for some reason. They use buffalo wings then toss it in the sauce. It was crispy too but the regular fried wings is juicer. There's a parking lot too. It's right behind the building and that's why you enter the place too. Please follow me on Yelp if you like my vibe or on my IG @eatwithjennime

My friend and I ordered wings n stuff for opening day of the NFL yesterday. Go Rams! Their soy boneless chicken was divine. So plump and I think they use dark meat leading to tons of flavor in the chicken itself. The soy flavoring was really tasty! These were a big win, I just wish they were more crispy. The sweet & spicy was fire! Like legit burned my face off, but I'm weak with spice, my friend enjoyed it lol! We also got their waffle fries which were A-OK but soft and didn't come with any sauces. Now we got delivery, and even with just being 5 mins from the shop, nothing arrived crispy and all was soggy. No points knocked for that as I know this may be a biproduct of delivery...but also to note, I've received plenty of KFC that stayed super crisp in transport. Overall, I'd get the boneless soy again but would skip the sweet & spicy and waffle fries.

I ordered 40 chicken wings and specifically asked for no fillets -- just 40 wings only. Instead, I received 30 wings and a box of something I didn't order. It was placed at the very bottom of the bag, as if to hide it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had a big family gathering with friends and guests, and this situation was very embarrassing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's a holiday, and this not only ruined my mood but also my impression of your service. Please don't do this again. Don't mislead people -- it's not right. Why is it so hard to be honest?

    Great spot for wings!

I decided to come to another wing spot for another holiday and this place was the chosen one for the day. The staff provided a holiday greeting and also helped me choose an item. I went ahead and got the Soy Garlic Wings, which came out to a little over $16 for 10 pieces. Since I parked in the lot in the rear, I had plenty of open space around me and thoroughly enjoyed my meal in the car with the rain and great music in the background. I finished it all then and there and was so content after this meal, I knew I was starting off the year on the right foot!

I was craving wings and was gonna go to Wingstop like I usually do but wanted to give this neighborhood spot a chance. & WOW just WOW, the wings were amazing! Extremely happy I finally stopped in. Ordered the 20 piece Chicken Wings ($26.99 in store) but we ordered through Grubhub and it was $30.99. Bit on the pricier side either way, but definitely worth the bill. We got 4 sauces: Soy Garlic, BBQ, Hot, and Sweet and Spicy. Ranked from favorite to least - #1 Soy Garlic - LOVED LOVED LOVED. Juicy and flavorful. Lightly covered in its sauce so wing still remains nice and crispy. I really want to try the hot version of it next time. #2 BBQ - Sweet flavor. Sauce tasted homemade rather than overly processed (i.e. wingstop or bww) #3 Hot - These creeped up on me. They're really spicy and leave you sweating. But they're not just hot, they're also perfectly seasoned. I might opt for the medium next time though. #4 Sweet and Spicy - the name is a perfect description. These were also good but just my least favorite of the four. All wings were perfectly crispy! Don't know the exact number of each, but whole order comes with a mix of drumsticks and flats. I can't wait to go back and try their other flavors. The spot is pretty small and there's not seating inside as their set up is more for to go/online orders. They have a big parking lot in the back which helps with the pick up. The cashier greeted us right away and offered us help right upon entering. Let her know we had placed a pick up order and were out the door with our food within 5 mins. It's a 10/10.

My husband is always raving about this place so I finally decided to give it a try and the food was phenomenal!!!! The woman who helped me was super kind and patient, informed me on their spices and what sides I could get with my order + dressings ! I got a 10pcs combo comes with the besttttt crinkle fries and a can soda ! The fries were seasoned well so it's a mix of sweet + salty 9.2/10! I got Mild and Medium sauce wings and yall , the medium isn't spicy for me but THE FLAVOR IS A 10/10 !!! I'm super super picky with wings but this place just became my favorite spot !!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is nice too , you can eat inside it's pretty small but they do have seating outside and it very clean ![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also bring the food to your car if it's to go!

I LOVE fried chicken, but for some reason have never before tried Korean Fried Chicken!! I wanted my first time to be good, so I did my research and landed on this place after seeing countless video reviews about this place online. This is a very small shop in an unassuming area (if it weren't for the GPS and signs around the place, I might've missed it), but it offers a pretty straightforward menu and no frills type of vibe. I got the soy garlic and sweet & spicy wings and was super impressed with both!! What they say is true -- the chicken was soo crispy and perfectly cooked, yet somehow also so perfectly seasoned and marinated in the sauce. Per other reviews, I made sure to also try the homemade honey mustard dipping sauce, and wow did it make all the difference!! It was really the perfect dipping sauce for these wings that only enhanced the flavor and tastes without overpowering it. Can't believe I've been missing out on this delicious fried chicken all this time!!

I ordered the chicken strips with fries, while my partner ordered a two-piece chicken dinner with macaroni salad and spicy rice. Although we had to wait a little while for the food, it arrived hot. We both agreed that it was some of the best fast-food fried chicken we had ever eaten. The chicken was moist and the batter was crispy. My fries were good, and my partner's macaroni salad and spicy rice were both flavorful. We especially loved the biscuit. I also couldn't help noticing that although the dining room feels like something of a relic, it is very well maintained. There were no dirty tables and no trash on the floor. I was genuinely shocked when the cashier came out to ask how everything was and whether we needed anything else. Most fast-food chains seem determined to eliminate as much human interaction as possible. Pioneer Chicken was a refreshing reminder that fast food can still be friendly, clean and satisfying. Pioneer Chicken is a winner in my book!

I highly recommend this chain location and can vouch for the food and service!!! Is the hype warranted? an astounding YES! I looked into the secret menu and got to try the Mario Fries, Lou's Chicken Sandwich, Quarter Chicken Breast with all their sauces, and Banana Pudding! The staff was lovely and I met Matt, the manager. I was greeted with an excited and hyped staff. They were kind and welcoming. Food came pippin' hot and the first bite of the quarter chicken breast was everything- juicy, smoky, spicy, and filled with seasoning! I heard comparisons between this chain and others and finally understood the difference: the chicken is at the forefront along with different layers of flavor that are in the sandwich! Think of Dave's Hot Chicken but meatier , juicier, and much flavorful. Everything is elevated with subtle sophistication- the slaw, all the sauces, and breading. It seemed all curated individually for your meal. For comparison, it is like getting a pastry at your local bakery vs. at a patisserie in Paris, FR. It's the same dessert but one is much better, especially if you pay attention to the subtleties. If you want to taste Howling Ray's in one dish, this would be it! The other dishes were also delightful, the Lou's sandwich had waffles as the buns with powdered sugar and syrup on top; imagine smoky, savory, with fulfilling sweetness. The banana pudding was also wonderful; not to sweet but subtle flavors with high quality ingredients. The Mario's fries are the ultimate chicken loaded fries and would have you full and fulfilled. Everything was of great. You are paying for quality and you will not regret it, especially if you like flavors and spicy. There is a reason that there is a line even before this restaurant opens. Not only would I recommend this place, I recommend bringing a crew so you can share the experience together. I am now a fan and I will be back and will bringing others with me.

This is more upscale, almost fine dining Filipino food. Something I have never experienced before. We were very intrigued and were excited to try the food. If you're looking for a carinderia or turo-turo taste, this ain't it so don't come expecting that. Menu is not extensive, which is what we like. I have a hard time at Cheesecake Factory and that just stresses me out. I feel like their food menu is compact, thoughtfully created, and appealing. We had a very difficult time not ordering the entire menu. So we ended up eating almost half of it. Drinks menu was also very innovative and the drinks were STRONG. I also appreciate that they have non-alcoholic versions of some of their drinks. I wasn't indulging that day so Hubby and I were able to sample one of each type. Calamansi Mojito ($20) for him and Ube Horchata ($14) for me. As for what we ate: Manila Mais ($18) - 2.5/5 stars - It was, okay. Filipino-ized version of Mexican elote, corn-ribs style. Though it had Filipino elements like the bagoong butter, it didn't really taste like anything different. And to be honest, the bagoong butter didn't bring anything to the table the way it was presented to the side of the corn. It was too hard and just sat on the elote as you ate it. Kare Kare Tamales ($26) - 5/5 stars - UH-AMAZING!!! I could have eaten two, regular-sized tamales versions of this as an entree instead of two smaller appetizer size. The braised oxtail inside the tamales was soft and tender but the peanut butter veloute was *chef's kiss*. You definitely tasted kare kare but in an innovative way. I just wish they had some steamed rice or bread so I could soak up the sauce. I almost cried when they took the plate away because I didn't want to waste the sauce! Bicol Express Mezzelune ($38) - 4/5 stars - I was eyeing this originally but opted not to until the chef came out and talked us into it. And I'm so glad he did! This was delicious! Ironically enough, I just cooked traditional Bicol Express the week before and this definitely hit those notes without being a carbon copy of it. Again, where was the rice?! Only thing I can dock is that I felt like the pasta was a tad too thick and was chewy to my taste. Otherwise, I would definitely order this again. Was the sleeper hit of the dinner. Crab Fat Fried Rice ($38) - 5/5 stars - Crab? Crab fat? In rice?? Of course, sign me up! So delicious and a very generous portion. I wanted to hoard it to myself but I guess I had to share with Hubby. Would order this again. Ribeye Salpicao ($96) - 3/5 stars - Not my favorite of the bunch and this surprised me because I love rib eye. It came out medium instead of the medium rare we ordered and the taste was just not to my preference. It's possible that it was just overshadowed by the other excellent dishes we had. Likely will not order again though the portion was generous. Two minor things I wish they had but not enough to dock stars: Rice and spoons. Come on, now! This is a Filipino place! From front of the house host, bartender, and the chefs, the experience was very welcoming and polished. We sat at the bar and was able to chat with the chefs when they came to introduce themselves to us and they were the nicest people. Next time, I'd love to bring my parents and share this experience with them. Highly recommend!
