Might go to Korean fried chicken place! I keep coming back to this one. It's the best Korean fried chicken. I found so far in Koreatown. The wings stay crispy, even when you order them with the sauce on, and after making the drive home and getting it to-go. That's impressive! The mixed sauce (classic Korean Yangnyum) is well balance, not overly sweet salty or spicy - it's a mix of all of those. The grandma tteokbokki is a classic, has multiple types of fish cake, and comes with hard-boiled egg. My only criticism, is that I wish they didn't charge extra for extra radish, they should give more than 1 portion if you order a large set of wings. Visited on a Friday afternoon with my partner. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza. It is decent sized with plenty of seating and TVs. Restroom available for customers. It is a very nice and casual vibe. We ordered at the front and were seated afterwards. We got the Soy Garlic and Soy Bulgogi boneless chicken. The food came out fairly quickly. Everything tasted really yummy. I love how light the breading is - not too heavy despite being fried chicken. We liked the Soy Garlic more than the Soy Bulgogi. We wish they came with more sauce though. Also, we hoped the service was little a bit better. The cashier/server was extremely kind but we had to get up a few times to ask for water, boxes, and the check. Not sure if that's the norm here. Oooooh this place hits the spot after taking a dance class with friends. I love me some Korean food and we got the Grandma Tteok-bokki with mild spice and the Mixed Sauce 20pc wings. Both dishes look gorgeous to eat. The tteok-bokki wasn't too spicy and just love the rice cakes. The chicken was crispy yet flavorful. These are chicken wings done right. TwoZone on 8th St & Oxford is the legit zone for authentic Korean Fried Chicken. For the past few years, I've been ordering here and their quality and service are consistent. I usually order a whole chicken with two flavors and a side dish. This time, I ordered a whole chicken with soy garlic and honey flavors. I also ordered a side of sweet potato fries. The staff who took my order said everything would be ready in 20 minutes and they truly marked their word. I was there in 20 minutes and my order was ready for payment and pick up. It's not bad for $40+ because their Korean fried chicken is phenomenal! The honey butter chicken's flavor is identical to the trendy but delectable honey butter chips. The soy garlic has a slightly spicy kick to with a sweet garlicky taste. Despite being smothered in their lovely flavors, the chicken is truly crunchy, juicy and savory. A hole in the wall restaurant that has crispy juicy chicken. Biting into it, you can immediately see the smoke coming out!! I believe the chicken is made to order because they always come out piping hot. They recently removed their wasabi flavored chicken, which sucks. At first when I walked in, I got scared that they disappeared but actually it is now both a Halgatteok and Twozone Chicken! I ordered at the register and keep in mind you pay at the end of your meal so I sat down after I ordered. I got the soy garlic chicken which was very delicious and had sesame seeds on top. The soy garlic was slightly sweet and tangy but you can definitely taste the garlic. It also came with pickled radish which I love eating with the chicken. It took around 10-15 minutes for our meal to come out but it was fine because it was a little more busy when I went! This place was more legit than I thought it would be. I've had some gooooooooood Korean fried chicken, and surprisingly Twozone hit the spot. My husband and I were in the plaza to get matcha at Damo, and we figured we'd try this place out for an early dinner. We got there before valet parking was required thankfully. We got two orders of wings: one Soy Garlic and one original with Mixed sauce on the side. The soy garlic was absolutely delicious and exceeded expectations. Perfectly crispy, hot, fresh, garlicky, pretty much everything I wanted in soy garlic KFC. The original fried chicken was great as well. The mixed sauce tasted kinda weird??? Not sure if it would have been better straight coated on the chicken but we both thought the sauce was too sour and a little metallic. It would have tasted better with a tinge more sweetness. The radishes that come on the side were GOOD though. They were the perfect palate cleanser and not metallic like the radishes I get at other KFC restaurants. I am updating my review to one star because of the rude lady who took my call just a moment ago. I am a fan of two zone chicken since 2021 but after today, I am now doubting if I will continue to order here. I order in door dash around 2:45pm for pick up with the promotion of buy 1 take 1. I always order this almost every other week and this is the first time I got with one flavor. I messaged them around 5:30pm in a text message with a follow up call since again I never experienced this and just want to get clarification. But then the lady who picked up the call said that since it's promotion they only offer one flavor but there is no notes in door dash or at least advising their customer ahead of time but instead she argued and hung up on me saying "okayyy byeeee" which is very unprofessional since I am still trying to explain my experience. We ended up walking to the register to order which is the main reason for my low review. Employees were prioritizing mobile/online orders more than in store orders. The store was low on staffing and the employees were clearly under a lot of stress. One employee prioritized cleaning the table of 10 after they left and didn't even look in my direction to see if I needed help or information about when I can order. Food: 1) Soy garlic: it had a nice and subtle spice which was unexpected but good. Plain and soy garlic were REALLY good but the honey butter was a little disappointing since it was just powder sprinkled over. Make sure to check in to get the free drink. Overall: 4.5/5 We ordered on Ubereats on July 4th so it was one of the few places that was open late. They took 1.5 hours to deliver (30 minutes after the latest estimated arrival time) but it's understandable for the holidays. This place is different in that they give you the sauces in packets so your chicken can remain crispy which was really smart on their part. The other bonus is that there's a lot more sauce in the packet then when a restaurant puts it on for you and you can control the amount you want for each piece. They give you one container of pickled radish that are big chunks why I wish they cut into smaller bite size pieces. They also provided an extra dressing and a Togo menu. Half & Half Special Chicken ($36.99): You get to choose 2 different flavors for a whole chicken. We chose onion & wasabi, and each flavor came with about 8 drumsticks/wings so 16 in total. For the onion half, they put ample of sliced onions on top of the chicken which did make them a little less crunchy but went very well with the chicken. The chicken itself had a unique batter and was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Both the onion and wasabi sauces were really good so you can't go wrong with either. The wasabi sauce has a slight kick to it but I think non-spicy eaters can handle it. Honey Butter Dipping Sauce ($0.99): This is actually not a dipping sauce but a powder.
