I always enjoy a good fried chicken. I like that you can have tons of options of sauces and toppings. Chicken was nice and crispy, nicely seasoned and tender. Service was quick and would definitely come back.

Oooooh this place hits the spot after taking a dance class with friends. I love me some Korean food and we got the Grandma Tteok-bokki with mild spice and the Mixed Sauce 20pc wings. Both dishes look gorgeous to eat. The tteok-bokki wasn't too spicy and just love the rice cakes. The chicken was crispy yet flavorful. These are chicken wings done right. The price seemed reasonable and affordable for the food we got, better than other places out there selling similar food!!! I recommend if you like Korean food! There is parking but valet though if you plan on staying at any of the ovations for a bit. (We went during the night)

Soy Garlic Chicken

TwoZone on 8th St & Oxford is the legit zone for authentic Korean Fried Chicken. For the past few years, I've been ordering here and their quality and service are consistent. I usually order a whole chicken with two flavors and a side dish. This time, I ordered a whole chicken with soy garlic and honey flavors. I also ordered a side of sweet potato fries. The staff who took my order said everything would be ready in 20 minutes and they truly marked their word. I was there in 20 minutes and my order was ready for payment and pick up. It's not bad for $40+ because their Korean fried chicken is phenomenal! The honey butter chicken's flavor is identical to the trendy but delectable honey butter chips. The soy garlic has a slightly spicy kick to with a sweet garlicky taste. Despite being smothered in their lovely flavors, the chicken is truly crunchy, juicy and savory. The sweet potato fries are crunchy and sweet. The lovely modern interior reminds me of the chicken and hof places in Hongdae, Seoul. Someday, I would love to dine here.

A hole in the wall restaurant that has crispy juicy chicken. Biting into it, you can immediately see the smoke coming out!! I believe the chicken is made to order because they always come out piping hot. They recently removed their wasabi flavored chicken, which sucks. Out of all their flavors, my favorites are the green onion and the honey butter. You can also get the sauce on the side and order different flavored sauces.

Soy Garlic Wings

At first when I walked in, I got scared that they disappeared but actually it is now both a Halgatteok and Twozone Chicken! I ordered at the register and keep in mind you pay at the end of your meal so I sat down after I ordered. I got the soy garlic chicken which was very delicious and had sesame seeds on top. The soy garlic was slightly sweet and tangy but you can definitely taste the garlic. It also came with pickled radish which I love eating with the chicken. It took around 10-15 minutes for our meal to come out but it was fine because it was a little more busy when I went! They projected Kpop music videos on the wall but had a different playlist going on so it wasn't lined up but not a problem! I would come again!

Boneless Hot & Spicy and Honey Butter Chicken
Celyn R.

We ordered two flavor boneless chicken (honey butter and hot & spicy), cheese sticks, tteokbokki and draft beer (Stella Artois). Everything came out fresh and really delicious! The boneless chicken was juicy and crunchy. The service was great and friendly staff. The ambiance is pretty good for a date night or just a casual hangout with friends. Good variety in the menu. We will definitely come back here.

The parking is horrible!!! And the valet guys was rude ! That being said, the service and food was worth all the bs that was put up with, the chicken has so much flavor and the sweet potato fries 10/10 Had pretty low expectations, safe bet to say they over exited expectations Will be back and I'm a customer for life

Tteokbokki
Brianna R.

Decent food. Nothing amazing. There's better kfc and tteokbokki in the area. The wings were fried really well, but a bit under season. Fries were under seasoned. Tteokbokki had too much black pepper, but the rice cakes did taste surprisingly fresh. The only soju they had was unflavored. Overall, it's okay bar food / late night food. Parking lot is valet (just $3)

Food: 5 stars Service: 5 stars Ambiance: 4 stars I've only had Twozone chicken as takeout from Gaju Market before, but the chicken is definitively better when dining in. We visited on a Saturday night around 8:30 pm, and the place wasn't busy at all. While it's not a high-energy spot, the chicken and beer were good. The service was great too!

Not sure how you forget to pack every single sauce for the entire order? And still ask for a tip?

Is there parking available?

Yea right in front , for a couple bucks , it might be free for eating there

I love their "mixed sauce", but I live in Hawaii, so I want to make my own version at home. However, there is an ingredient/spice, I can't quite put my finger on...seems like cinnamon? Maybe nutmeg? It really gives it the taste I love. Anyone know?

Really good 치킨! The…read moreserver we had (I think it was the owner) was really attentive. This was my 3rd time there and the food and service always stood out. We always get the Bulgogi Fries (Fries with Cheese, Spicy Mayo, Jalapenos, a creamy salsa, onions, and LOTS of sweet bulgogi), and the Honey Garlic Wings. Also definitely recommend the original marinade or even plain (anything but boring). Seating is plentiful. Lunchtime is never too busy, which really surprised me. I love that they give us gloves. Alcohol is served too, so I think I'm gonna have to come back for a 회식 with my workplace.

I've eaten from there before. It's well cooked, juicy, with a good crunch, and light flavor. If you're gluten-free, like myself, you can only have two different sauces, and of course you have to pay for those separate. Not a fault, just an observation. Having any Sauce at all, is awesome... My complaint and withholding of a star is that The Only individual sized portions you can get is a chicken sandwich (I'm one of those dreaded * duh..duh..dunnnnn,* "Gluten-Free" peeps. After that the next size is half a chicken (to much for me to eat in a sitting.) and it Doesn't come with any sauces or sides. I'm not saying that's it's a bad price, for the amount and quality... It's absolutely fair. But an individual option, be it wings, tenders, something easy like that. Something comparable to the chicken sandwich, would be really appreciated. That's Star worthy to me. To add insult to a sour moment, I had to pay for parking... for only 3 to 4 minutes. While not truly a fault of the restaurant, it is a part of the experience, and should be noted. Lest others find themselves in a similar situation. And a final note. The manager was never anything but courteous and professional. He put up with my braty hangry behavior like a champ.

Witch's Chicken has been one of my favorite Korean-style fried chicken spots in LA for several years. However, I remember visiting sometime last year and ordering half fried and half soy garlic chicken, and the owner (a woman) was quite unfriendly and said they couldn't provide the dressing, so I hadn't gone back since then. Still, I remembered how good their fried chicken was, so I decided to pick some up while I was at the market. Their fried chicken is really delicious--super crispy, not too salty, and just perfectly seasoned. The young male staff member who took my order that day was also very friendly, which made the experience even better. They also serve pickled radish with the chicken, and it tastes even better when you eat it together with the radish. cf) They also have a stamp reward system where you get one stamp per purchase. Since I ordered both original hot wings and original drumsticks that day, I asked if I could get two stamps. However, they told me that two stamps are only given for orders over $50. My total that day was $40.83, so I didn't qualify for two stamps--it fell short by $9.17. But, it's ok.

I've been wanting to try this place since seeing it on social media and honestly.... I can see why…read moreit's viral. I ordered pickup pretty late in the day so didn't have any issues parking, but keep in mind that the lot it's in is pretty small so parking may be difficult. As for the food, I got the three taco combo and opted for the salmon, unagi, and spicy tuna (with k-pepper mayo on the side). Salmon: Fantastic. The chunks of salmon were plentiful, big, and fresh. This was my favorite and the addition of the k-pepper mayo made it sooo good Unagi: Good! I'd order again. The eel had a really nice glaze. Wasn't expecting the addition of imitation crab, but I liked it Spicy tuna: Good, but I don't think I'd order again. Was mainly imitation crab with a bit of tuna on top Overall, I enjoyed and would order again! Would recommend ordering in advance online :)

After seeing KingBop on TikTok featuring their crunchy sushi tacos, my girlfriend immediately…read morewanted to try it because she loves crunchy food, and honestly, it lived up to the hype. What they do is pretty unique. They fry sushi paper into a taco shell shape, then layer white rice and imitation crab on the bottom before topping it with your protein of choice. We tried the thinly sliced pork belly, fried shrimp, eel, and tuna. They also offer options like calamari and others. The tacos themselves were fantastic. The pork belly especially stood out with really good flavor, and they're generous with the amount of protein they put into each taco. The tuna was probably the weakest of the ones we tried. It sounded better in theory than it actually tasted, so I'd probably skip that one next time. Everything else was excellent. The biggest downside here is honestly the parking and the layout of the location. Parking is rough. The strip mall is tiny, street parking nearby is heavily restricted, and there are a lot of red curbs and permit-only areas. I ended up parking across the street and walking over. A lot of people were double parking too, which made traffic even more chaotic. Inside, you order from a digital kiosk, then wait in a very small dining area for your food. The restaurant was extremely busy even on a Tuesday around 1 PM. I actually felt bad for the people dining inside because the tables are packed tightly together, and then you have customers standing around between tables waiting for orders. Space is clearly limited, but the setup makes it feel crowded very quickly. Waiting outside wasn't much better because there's a dumpster nearby that smelled pretty bad, especially in the heat. That said, once we got the food, grabbed napkins, and went back across the street to eat in the car, the experience immediately improved. The presentation was great, and they even use styrofoam containers with built-in slots that hold the tacos upright so they don't spill or fall apart during transport, which was a smart touch. The staff was also very friendly, and considering how busy and cramped the place was, they handled things well. Overall, I would definitely go back. The food itself is creative, crunchy, flavorful, and genuinely fun to eat. Just be prepared for the parking and tight space situation before you go.
