This location has a problem fulfilling basic requests, which is very frustrating. We ordered hot garlic wings, fried hard. Upon coming home, the wings were the furthest thing from fried hard and I was given hot honey sauce . I absolutely cannot stand sweet meat. To me, it's disgusting . I couldn't eat more than a bite. We called and asked why the wrong sauce was provided and they said they don't have hot garlic and when people ask, they just give them hot honey. WHO DOES THAT?????? Hot garlic and hot honey are no where the same. Disgusting. Now it's 8:30pm and I have no dinner and also wasted $20 on food that will be trashed. Gross. If you can't fry the wings hard, say that's not available! Don't just give customers whatever you feel like providing since we are the ones paying ‍‍‍. If you cannot fulfill the order as requested, then literally decline. Or perhaps just ask since the order was placed IN PERSON. It's just that simple! But apparently not for this location. Second time ordering from this place in Brazil Indiana and both times some of the food was less that great. The sauce on the side was the best, the wings were old and dried out. my celery was forgot, hence the reason I ordered the ranch dressing. Hubby's cowboy burger was good. calling to talk to anyone was impossible so no other way to vent the problem. It will be a toss up if we ever come back or not. i was in wings etc yesterday for the NCAA basketball tourney. was wanting to catch all the games at the same time. plus, some of the other patrons, as well. the lady at the bar, Lisa, made sure all games were on the main screens, so that all the bar area could see the games , as well as the other TV's surrounding the bar area. she was also very well versed in the beers on draft & in the cooler & was able to offer great suggestions to the best beers they had & specials. i ordered a burger with fries, which was cooked to perfection. one of the best burgers i have had in awhile! but, what made the visit even more enjoyable was the manager, anna, came around the bar area & the restaurant & checked on how all the tables were doing. plus, lent a hand to cleaning the tables that had left & made sure they were clean & ready to go , for the next customer. i will definiately be back there, soon! read more

I go Sunday's after church pretty frequently. The bartender is always super sweet and makes sure I have everything I need. I get boneless and bone in wings depending on the day and both are amazing. This used to be my favorite wings place but the food has gone downhill as of late. The staff were very kind and upbeat. The food on the other hand needed help.Our boneless wings were very over cooked they were hard and one of the meals were for a child so that was a bit unsettling, also there were flies around our table constantly in our face it was very annoying and an odd smell as you entered. First time to a Wings Etc. We stopped here before the AFC Championship to grab wings. Good environment. Plenty of TVs with games. Service was good. Plenty of menu options. Ordered Buffalo wings. Waitress said they are extra buttery. Great! I love butter. The order arrived and the wings have no sauce on them at all. They are in a puddle of butter and something. Wing were crisp and tasty. The sauce was a mess and had almost no Buffalo taste. Never had wings like them. They would be ok if it's what was expected. It wasn't. My Wife and I eat here about once or twice a month. It used to be a lot more busy before they opened up BW's down the road. They have larger wings than BW's and I like that they will do boneless wings for the same price as traditional. They usually have good beer specials and the servers are always friendly here. Hate to say it, but I have to pass along a "so-so" review of a "used-to-be fav'ed" spot for bar style food. I've been here 10+ times and in the beginning, this Avon location was a contender for chicken wing dominance on the west side of Indy. Lately though, it appears that their business has taken a hit and so has quality control. To start...first favorable impressions were as a result of their huge, killer wings and mega beer 100oz. beer tapper. The wings were larger than the competitions, they had a good variety of sauces (15 or so), and they were always hot and fresh. Lately, the wings are consistently mediocre...no bigger or better than BW's, but they still have the big o' beer tapper. Good conversation piece when it is brought to your table. I am still pleased with their tenderloin, Homewrecker line of hot dogs, and the monstrous Ultimate nachos. For those of you that prefer the mega, hubcap sized tenderloins, Wings Etc. is more along the lines of a simple dinner plate portion, but well executed. The Homewrecker is a their famous 1/2 pound dog with a few topping options. Their Ultimate Nachos are a meal in itself, but comes under the Starters or Appetizer section. This dish will feed a family of four as a starter or two adults as a meal. All menu items are reasonably priced, but most are simply executed bar fair. My other gripe is the place is called "Wings Etc.". When I order all wings and no drummies, why do you charge me extra? I prefer WINGS over DRUMS. In honor of your name sake, why do you up charge for me ordering what you advertise...WINGS? Each and every time, I get nailed with a wing penalty charge when I order just wings. Don't mistake this restaurant is still a franchise, but a family member/owner is usually on site. It does not add to the mystique or family-owned appeal though. It is as friendly and welcoming as a fast food, greasy spoon at happy hour rush. The upside is that there is always room at the bar and dining now, there are a lot of flat panel TV's to view, the 100oz. beer tapper still exists, they run daily specials including their famed $0.39 wing Mondays, and they have a Champions photo montage for the "Wall" (Habanero style) wings conquerors. Hope they make it as Avon needs some good local spots, but the Magic 8 Ball says, "Outlook not so good". Wish them well, but won't be back until the last experiences fade from memory. read more

So after mini-golf, we went to eat wings.... There is no other place I want to go for wings. We love this place!!!!! These are the best wings I have had. They are fried crispy and covered in sauce. They come out piping hot and covered in sauce. The sauces are delicious and there are almost 20 to choose from to meet your level of hotness and tangy. My fav is the Sweet Chili Cha-Cha....its the Vietnamese chili sauce and has become very popular in recent years. I also like the Jamaican Jerk sauce. Its one level above the Cha-Cha. The wings are served with celery and your choice of blue chesse or ranch dressing. There are several options for wings...7, 10, 18, 24 all under $20. We choose the 24 piece and split them. You can order half or full baskets of straight or curly fries...get those loaded with cheese, BACON, and sour cream. The staff has always been pretty friendly. They are trained to be attentive. They will check on you for refills and if you need anything else. Plus they are really patience on taking your order as you may need to ask questions about the sauces. There is a full bar or enjoy unlimited soda while watching one of the many TVs on the walk. read more

Don't come here expecting the food to blow your mind, I mean...it's a wings, beers and fries type of place but it does it pretty well. We ended up here kinda last minute when my husband said he wanted to go to something close by that had beer, we'd never checked this place out before, so why not? We started with some loaded fries which were pretty good, but I am not sure I would get again, there are a lot of other things on the appetizer menu I would rather try instead. I decided to try their boneless wings because I am lazy and had ordered the mild and the gar-licky-parm, my server actually insisted that I try the garlic sauce ahead of time since she said it is unique and not everyone likes it, I thought that was an awesome suggestion to save any food complaints in the future. I thought it was pretty good and she recommended getting it on the side. It is very good and kinda intense so it was better if I could control the amount. The mild was, in my [not-professional] opinion, excellent. Could taste all the yummy butter and had just the right amount of kick. The chicken itself was average but for the price, you can't complain. My mom and my husband liked their food as well. We got big schooners of beer to go with it since it was the special that night and the wings and beer hit the spot! I would probably rate the food closer to a 3 but our server earned this review a whole extra star. She was WONDERFUL. So kind and attentive and made the whole visit worthwhile. I plan to go again and will request her if she is there! One small complaint? They only played country music while I was there. I really want to like this place but the problem is that not everything on their menu is fresh. If you are nice enough and ascus server how is the mac & cheese, which by the way I asked, they will tell you if it's freshly made or not. They focus on their current promotions, and those items are fresh. She mentioned (because I was super HUNGRY) that Wings Etc. had some tasty, heart stopping, artery clogging nummies on their menu so we decided to check it out. IF I were a sports fan I would say this would be a fantasic place to grub on some food and watch a game. Or games.. as there are TVs on every single wall of this place. I would really like to give Wings Etc. four stars because I really like their wings! They are consistently bigger and better than what you'd get at other competing chains. What makes Wings Etc. just "okay" isn't the food, it's the unpredictable service. Half the time I come in, the service is great and the wait staff is extremely attentive. But equally frequent is the service wherein I see the server twice during the entire course of the meal - once to drop off drinks and once to bring the bill (meaning yet another employee brings our food). I would give 0 stars if I could. Went in around 6:15 on a Wednesday night. There were maybe 4 tables occupied... Maybe less. The waitress comes and takes our drink order about 5 minutes after we got seated. We get our waters and we put in for an appetizer and our meals. The appetizer came out around 6:45. After we got out appetizer nobody checked on us again. I look over and see a table that got there after we did already had their food. Very puzzled (and thirsty because both waters were empty) I check the time... 7:05... Still no food. Our waiter finally sees we have empty waters and comes over. Says "oh you don't have your dinner yet"... Clearly not. She fills 1 water cup HALF WAY and walks away. 5 minutes later the manager comes and says "how is everything?" How is what?
