This is the first time I have come here, I came for a friend's 50th birthday! Apparently, every Thursday night, they have Singo Bingo. It was busy, and the waitress said they were short staffed. She had long dark hair, sorry I don't remember her name, but she has been there awhile. I paid cash, and I don't know where the bill went. She brought me refills before even asking for it. She recommended the Philly Cheese Steak or the Baron. I ordered the Baron, it was so good. It's a grilled chicken sandwich, with bacon, garlic aioli, and cheese. It came with fries or tots. I got the tots, those were not great, I feel like they had been frozen too long, or ice got into the bag. Just from experience from my house cooking fries or tots. Overall, it's really nice, it was crowded, but not crazy. Entrees were wings and one of the home wreckers, which is a thick 11" hot dog. You see what they did there, right? It was a nicely flavored hot dog smothered in tasty chili. I have only been here one other time and I was overall very satisfied with my visit. It was a friend of mine's birthday so we had about 12 people with us. The server was attentive and got our drinks out quickly. The server did forget to put the guest of honor's order in so we did have to wait on that. The wings were really tasty and they had a lot of sauce options to choose from. In my opinion the wings have a better flavor than bw3's but they are a little more pricy too. Been here at least 12 times in the last year. Great place if you want to watch a game, especially IU/Purdue. Decent-good wings, although I wish there were more flavors to choose from. Decent beer/food specials. The bar side is pretty good atmosphere, and although there are also tvs all over the family side, it's just not a great vibe if you have a family. Bartenders are hit/miss on their quality. One in particular is great. A few months ago I had an experience that has kept me from going back, though. They have a nice deal on Tuesdays. The chicken tenders were 79 cents a piece. I got 5 tender tossed in "Me So Spicy" (that's not racist lol), beer, and fries for under $10. Food was awful - DRY pot roast sandwich on a stale roll and artichoke dip with no chips! I really had to try this place twice to have a good opinion about what I thought of this establishment. Personally it is not for me. I think the wings are very "ehhh" if you will. The bone in wings are soggy and to be honest do not have much meat on them. As far as the boneless wings go, they are glorified chicken nuggets. Wings Etc has 19 signature sauces all of which have a unique clever name and range from sweet to very spicy. I've tried wings on both ends of the spectrum and if I had to pick I would fall somewhere on the higher end as I do not believe their wings are as hot as marketed. I do not like how they put the sauce on their wings they are not hand tossed like their competitors. They drown their wings in sauce leaving you with a messy puddle to dig through. The appetizer we chose was in fact very good. The cheddar cheese bites I believe is what they were called. Who doesn't love breaded deep fried cheese? The only downside was there was simply not enough in one order for two people. We ended up spending $40+ on 2 beers, 18 wings and an appetizer and overall I'd say neither of us were satisfied when we left. We probably would not pick this place over their competitors. read more

I love boneless wings and have grown tired of poor service at my local (other wing joint ). From the hostess to our server even the food runner the service was great. The server couldn't remember how to divide the three groups of a party of 7. A teacher at our table was asked to go help him divide the ticket at the computer. I've stopped in here several times for lunch and a couple of times for drinks after work. I would say for lunch or dinner it's descent. The wings are generally larger than BW's and they have some variances on the sauces that are good. I like their curly fries too. Service is generally friendly, but not all that fast. Sometimes they drown the wings in sauce so you may want to order it on the side. So for lunch or dinner I would give Wings Etc. a 3.5 or 4 star. As far as the places rating as a bar for drinks after work.....1 Star or less. We stopped in about 4:30pm and the bartender seemed kind of annoyed that we were there. She was busy cleaning. We asked about specials since it was a Wednesday....there were really none. All of the bars in this area have daily specials on beer, but this bar only has monthly specials posted which aren't really a good deal at all. There was no music other than what we could hear from a radio in the kitchen playing country. It was just a bad experience. The bartender yelled to the kitchen twice while standing right next to us which was also pleasant. If you want a beer after work in Plainfield I wouldn't recommend this place. Wanted to try something different but didn't want to travel far so we came here. The restaurant is very clean and well laid out. Each table has its own large tv so you can be sure you'll see the game no problem. The menu has a ton of choices for even the pickiest eater. We had the pretzel bites and fried pickles for apps. Both were very good, I highly recommend the southwest ranch! It was Thursday so they had $8 pitchers and .59 cent wings, traditional and boneless. We all tried a different sauce and we were not disappointed by any of them. Beer selection was decent with the usuals and a bunch of locals and micros. Since the pitchers were cheap we just had miller lite. Waitress was very nice and helpful when choosing what we wanted. This is definitely a place we will return to several times! read more

My son works at this location. I came to get a to Go order and I had to wait for about an hour just for my son to even get my order? He picked up a Monday lunch and he was the only server and was really busy. I have been a server for over 20 years and I have NEVER seen teamwork that I witnessed? Big props and shout out to Joe the manager on duty and Brooke the bartender. It is awesome to see a manager bussing table's, running food, and continuously asking what Glenn needed. On 2-22-21 I stopped into the Plainfield location for dinner. After waiting a few minutes at the door two employees talking near the back area finally noticed me (a stocky young man in khakis and tall bleach blonde woman with her hair up) I was approached by the young man in Khaki pants who said "can I help you?" in a tone I can only describe as slightly annoyed by my presence. Oddly, since I was standing by the "wait to be seated" sign this question was surprising and seemed more fit for a visit at the BMV. I guess I'm used to being greeted more politely at restaurants, for example, "Hi How are you? Dining in tonight?" or something similar. I responded with "Um, Well I was hoping to...you know....eat." in an appropriate response to his tone with a very confused look on my face. He immediately realized how he had come across and softened his tone. I was not interested in being waited on by him so I told him I would just sit in the bar area. He said "Go on and find yourself an open table" and handed me my flatware to carry myself into the bar like a buffet style restaurant. I was eventually approached by a young blonde female server with straight hair who communicated the bare minimum to serve me and clearly didn't seem thrilled at all to be waiting on me. My server disappeared 3/4 of the way through my meal and I never saw her again. I'm assuming she went home, but nobody approached me and said they would be taking over my table. Instead the bartender, a middle aged woman, took over as my server. She at least attempted to be nice. Nobody at this location, on this night, seemed engaged or happy to be there.
