In the picture I took, the excellent, homemade-tasting, oniony curry sauce is off to the side so you can add it to the katsu (and rice) just before you dig in. This means your cutlet stays crispy the whole time. Wonderful presentation in a lovely to-go bento box. Meal included a cup of miso soup as well. The other picture was my partner's pick. She commented especially favourably on the tempura crispy bits throughout the bowl, which provided great texture. Go here. Order. You won't be sorry. This restaurant is unique for its serving style - if you order individual seafood, you eat with your hands from plastic bags. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that we were able to keep ourselves relatively clean. We ordered a pound of mussels with garlic sauce, crawfish with lemon pepper sauce, and a fish teriyaki dish with seafood assortment. I loved the garlic sauce, as it gave the mussels a great kick. I wouldn't recommend the crawfish, as they don't have much meat. I felt like I was just nibbling the shells for the sauce. However, the fish teriyaki was a solid choice. Overall, it was a filling and tasty meal, and it came out to less than $20 per person. With so few customers in the restaurant, service was relatively prompt, but I would recommend more frequent water refills, as the sauces were quite salty. We had to personally wave over the waitress in order to get water. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend Captain's Boil if you enjoy seafood like I do. Glad they opened up in London!

I ordered the Ma Po Tofu without the customary pork meat included in it, some plain rice, and veggie spring rolls. Ma Po Tofu without meat is probably my favourite Chinese dish, or in the top three, and this place prepared it really well. It was like I had ordered it in back in China. There isn't much I can say about the veggie spring rolls or the plain rice I ordered. They were standard items that anyplace could offer. The Ma Po Tofu had the really soft type of tofu that almost melts in your mouth. It was great - very different from the kind of tofu we get in the grocery store. After reading other reviews online we decided to try this. The concept is simple, they seat you on a table then you scan the QR code to order, then the food will come and you pay the bill online simple. The restaurant is super clean and nice. It has a modern coffee shop vibe. You don't expect to eat authentic Chinese food here. But the food is great. I got beef and chicken skin on a stick, they both are flavorful and got great spicy on it. Then the noodles soup was great with Sour and Spicy base, wish it has more meat. Then the fried bun was crispy on the outside and soft inside. The intestines were little on the blend side. But overall the food was great. London is a great stopping point between Detroit and Toronto, so if you happen to stop by try this place out.

He put the two of us at a table without lights, and the experience was very bad. There are few dishes to choose from. In the end, the price was very expensive, 40 dollar per person. After we reacted with him, the average person was only 2 dollar less. And the waiter told us they doesnt get tip! The tips all belong to the house! unbelievable! its totally illegall their boss did that! I think that why the waiter seems upset and no any good attitude! dont give any tips for them!

Overall, the food was enjoyable, but none of the dishes stood out as particularly memorable or unique. This is easily the best Korean restaurant in London and one that could be compared to one in the GTA. I especially recommend ordering something from their pancake menu - I always order their seafood pancake when I come here and it's always so delicious. Every bite melted in my mouth. Awesome! I would also recommend their tangsuyuk. It's always made of high quality and tastes very authentic. The service is also excellent and they even have call buttons at each table to call your server over, just like how it is in South Korea. No need to awkwardly get your server's attention by waving your hand mindlessly in front of a bunch of strangers! The prices are also very reasonable and is especially important with all the inflation that is going on. Compared to other restaurants such as Ozen Korea on Oxford/Wonderland, this place has quite cheap prices. This restaurant's location could be located better. It is located a little ways out south of Downtown. A more central location would boost business further, however I'm not going to take a star off just because of this when the food is always of high quality. I look forward to coming here more often!

I preferred the dumplings (steamed...small) to the potstickers (fried...large), and the soup over the noodles but all were good.
