They serve everything from sushi and sashimi to Thai food to dim sum to many other Japanese items. This location is spacious within a multi-storey building. Inside the interior is modern and sleek, while their entrance and parking lot are in the back. It's a chain with another location in London plus several in Toronto and Ottawa areas as well. It's a standout AYCE from the perspective of variety, speed and service. Ordered dishes arrived relatively quickly and servers were friendly. I particularly enjoy the flavours of the sushi rolls that are decked out with sauces and filled with avocado, torched fish, fish roe. Sashimi including salmon, octopus, white fish were all quite fresh but they didn't serve some premium ingredients like sweet shrimp and scallop that we found at the GTA location. The grilled dishes were all well-seasoned and served hot including the bacon-wrapped asparagus and chicken/beef skewers. On the positive, what I find unique about 168 Sushi is their buffet salad bar, plus it was also where hot soup, wasabi and ginger were self-served. On the flip side, their ordering tablet constantly locked screen requiring assistance and ordering was limited to 90 minutes. They were very accommodating with separate bills upon request when we visited. There is also an extra dining room that's opened for parties and guest overflow though that area has no decor. Skip it or hit it? If you're celebrating a special occasion or just hungry for sushi, this spot is worth a splurge.

The beef wrap came in a lovely flaky crust... but the entire execution was spoiled by the fact that the wrap came overloaded with excessive hoisin sauce. The beef taste was therefore completely masked, and all I could taste was the sickening sweetness and saltiness of the sauce. What a shame! Finally, the mapo tofu. At first taste, it was very good and tasty. However, you will notice immediately that it is quite salty! Okay to have with rice, but could definitely use some more tofu to balance out the extreme saltiness. The dishes are well done, but a bit too overpowering in flavour. It has a modern coffee shop vibe. You don't expect to eat authentic Chinese food here. But the food is great. I got beef and chicken skin on a stick, they both are flavorful and got great spicy on it. Then the noodles soup was great with Sour and Spicy base, wish it has more meat. Then the fried bun was crispy on the outside and soft inside. The intestines were little on the blend side. But overall the food was great. London is a great stopping point between Detroit and Toronto, so if you happen to stop by try this place out.

When I arrived the owner added another 10 potstickers and 10 dumplings to my bag for free as they were about to close. I froze the extras because they are very filling!
